I didn’t have a chance to try the breakfast. I liked that I was able to choose from two bedrooms, I was told there was one closer to the elevator, and as a light sleeper, I politely passed on that bedroom. It’s nice to have been given the option but friendly reminder, that depends on their room availability in general if you’ll be presented with that option by the hotel clerk at the front when checking in.

The tv noise from the room across from me all afternoon/night wasn’t something I enjoyed but I understand that’s out of your control. Also, I turned on the heater to 73 degrees and it started to smell burnt-like. I immediately turned it off, opened the window, and left and returned and could only use the AC option at a certain temperature because I noticed if I raised the temperature, it started smelling burnt again... To the hotel staff: Please check your room heaters! This happened at my last stay - feel free to reach out to me.

You can tell that the hotel was older, The rooms were a little (worn the bathroom) The front desk coast was excellent, so helpful so kind so easy to talk to. He was awesome.

The bathrooms were a little worn But it was convenient right down the street from my grandson, although the sign for the hotel needs to be brighter not hidden in the bushes, I did wonder if you had cameras in the parking lot for the safety of my car and myself and my sister at night, sad there’s no early check-in!

Amanda at the front desk was very helpful as there was a gllith with my reservation thru booking. Com .she gave me the number n all was resolved. She is great at her job. Thanks Amanda.

The beds in the room were so comfortable i knocked out. The house keeping staff was good too. The property was near the freeway so ir was easy to go to San Diego n return. The only negative was where the dog area had no gras it was full of stickers that got on my dogs fur. Fortunately we went across the street where there was artificial turf that served my dogs purpose.

The beds were very comfortable and the heating/cooling equipment was easy to use & quiet. Sheets & towels were lovely. The location was very close to the hospital and many food options.

We couldn't turn on the TV. We had enough gossip to keep us busy however. Most of the room was clean but the floor in the bathroom needs a good scrub. There is ground-in dirt that just a wipe down is not going to get out.

The room met my needs and you can't beat the location as it's right off the freeway but the freeway noise is not really even noticeable. The beds and chairs were comfy and the staff was really friendly!

I did see a couple of ants in my room which isn't the greatest thing in the world. but not the worst bug you can see in a room. Also all the vending machines I encountered either did not work or didn't take cards.

Cozy quiet place and good location. Front desk staff were very helpful though out the day and availability of hot breakfast

Rooms are a bit tiny/ tight, the air condition was a little noisy at the start of use but becomes quiet after a awhile

Better price. I was in San Marcos for a family health emergency. Would have appreciated a lower price for number of days stayed at hotel.

Everything was great. Lobby was fresh, clean and well-appointed. Staff was pleasant and accommodating! Rooms were clean and towels were plentiful. The TV worked!! The shower was divine!! Breakfast was plentiful, well-attended and maintained. Coffee was hot and always available! THANK YOU!!

The bars of soap are always on my "list" of things I don't like. While the rooms ALWAYS have hairdryers, shampoo and conditioner, it would be GREATLY appreciated if they put more thought and effort in providing adequately-sized sweetly-fragranced bars of soap and also shower gel.

Friendly and accommodating staff

Odors. Lobby smelled funky when we first arrived. Didn’t notice it the rest of our stay. First room they gave us smelled like tobacco smoke. Not their fault since a customer broke the rules, except the housekeeping staff should’ve noticed it. they gave us another room immediately and apologized.

Great location and friendly staff. The breakfast was good with many selections. Nice eating area for morning conversation with family.

It needed a little updating. Hallways, elevator, bathroom, trim were a little scuffed up. Bedrooms were small. A loud party with boom box down the hall woke us up at 4:00 am on Friday night. We called the front desk, and they took care of the problem.
