The location in central Ortigia is brilliant, everywhere is walkable. We used the airport bus to Syracuse bus station and walked to the property (30 minutes) The suite was spotless, fresh and welcoming. The air con is brilliant. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is on the rooftop, pastries, cakes, cheese, ham, coffee, juice and water. You can have fresh eggs if you request.

When we left to catch our next connection we used a taxi who charged us €30 to the train station, it should have been half that. Beware the taxi drivers! (This is not the Cinque Suites fault)

A small and cute hotel, in a central location, a few minutes' walk from all the interesting places. Lovely staff who love to help.

The breakfast is poor and is on the roof, which is not very comfortable if it is too cold or too hot. Quite noisy, you hear every little noise coming from the neighboring rooms or from outside.

Lovely accommodation in a great, central location. We had two rooms and they were both spacious and with great artwork and overall presentation. Ortigia is a beautiful place and very active in the evenings, but once we were inside it was very peaceful. The staff were lovely and accomodating with our late check in too.

Nothing really - a few little signs of wear and tear but that isn’t a criticism at all.

Lucia gave us extra care when we left early one morning and we told her we would miss breakfast. Taking matters into her own's hands.She put a tray of breakfast items on our table in our room the night before and we were surprised when we got home from dinner that night. We were happy we would have food to take with us going to Nount Etna the next day.

Location! Down a quaint side street in Ortigia , it was close to bars and restaurants and not too far to walk from the bus terminus in Siracusia. The suites are modern and spacious, and very comfortable. Charming roof terrace for sunbathing and breakfast. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice, and the fruit juice was divine!

There is no lift so you need to carry luggage up the stairs, not so bad if you are on the first floor but higher up could be difficult for those less agile.

Central location and great service from the staff! Suite 1 is spacious, tastefully designed but practical...small details like design touch lamps, generous storage spaces for clothes and shoes, and good old-fashion luggage racks! The warm pool was a delight for winter morning stretches and evening relax after long walks during the day! We got superb tips for restaurants and explorations. Liliana and team surprised us (twice) with chilled Prosecco and a Happy New Year note! What a way to end the old year and start the new one in Ortigia! Service minded staff, easy to communicate with...it felt a bit like "a luxury home". We staid 4 nights, and i can recommend the Valet parking service, worth the money. A note on the fact that feral cats can freely roam wherever they want in Sicily and must be fed, and they are quite a few in the Ronco Purgatorio (the path to the Cinque Suites O).

maybe there is a plan to change the sofa/divan in the living room of Suite 1 for a fresher one?

Rooftop is really nice. The location is perfect. Shower 🚿 amazing. Great communication throughout our journey from receptionist. Barbara, who preps breakfast, is such a lovely person, and she couldn't do enough for us. Always smiling and very positive vibes.

The pillows just fold up around your face 😒 so uncomfortable. Sorry 😞 No late check out.

Due to the fire at Catania airport we spent an extra night in Ortigia and were lucky enough to get a room at this hotel. The suite was lovely and spacious with a separate living room and bedroom. The location is excellent, right in the middle of the old town so it was easy to nip down to Piazza Archimede for a pizza at dinner time! The staff were lovely and very accommodating. We were able to leave our bags and the room was available for early check in.

Amazing location, great customer service, good breakfast on the terrasse, cleaning room everyday, comfortable beds, great AC and wifi, great hot shower. Took the Bus 21 or 22 ( you walk 20 min to reach it) to go to the Beach Fontane Bianche (45 min). Beautiful, clear water. You have the private beach $$ or public. We also took the taxi, much faster 30 min and charges 40 Euros each way for 4.

We loved our stay here. The staff was superb - warm, friendly and very helpful. The rooms were large and comfortable. Not fancy but spacious, comfortable and clean with plenty of room to unpack. The bathroom was large, very nice linens and the shower was great. The roof Terrace was lovely and the staff kindly brought our very nice breakfast to the roof.

one challenge was that the shower floor was very slippery - I would not recommend for elderly travelers - I think this could be easily fixed with a bath mat or something added to the tile. There are also stairs rather than an elevator - if you have trouble carrying your luggage, this may not be your best option although the staff would probably help. The wifi did come and go sometimes but that happened throughout Sicily.L
