A great hotel who kindly changed our booking after our Inbound flight was cancelled the day before arrival. So we'll done to that reception gentleman! The restaurant manager was also excellent too and made us feel very welcome, but was always busy making the area spic & span, well done! Restaurant was a nice atmosphere too. Try the lentil soup it was fantastic. We would stay again and keep up the good work!

I found the pillows far too soft and not supportive, so slept badly but typically this is the German style. I wonder if guests could be offered an alternative firmer type, perhaps? Sadly, I felt the plastic screens in reception were unnecessary and actually a barrier to normal friendly communication and seemed to isolate reception staff to be honest. The above aren't deal breakers, but I mention them because I would like the hotel to be successful as we enjoyed our stay, so I trust this feedback is helpful. Thanks

The room was excellent, great staff (the restaurant waiter in the evening especially so), awesome restaurant and food, stunning building and location. I think the surrounding area would be very nice in warmer times of the year but in mid-winter it was dark and cold so I didn't stay to enjoy it. The bed was comfortable and I slept well, very important on a business trip with an important meeting the next day.

The car park is some distance away. It was bitterly cold during my stay and the area close to the hotel was very icy so dragging a bag from the car was a bit of a chore.

Despite being close to the city of Chemnitz the location of the hotel acts as a gateway to the open countryside, pleasant walks, golf, horse riding… Our standard double room was adequate for two nights, the bathroom was well designed for travellers, the breakfast was very good with nice individual touches and a varied choice, the food in the restaurants was also very tasty. Parking is amply available and free. All staff we encountered were helpful, friendly and interested in customer satisfaction.

We were fortunate to have a discount on our booking, for some the normal price would be a little on the expensive side…

Receptionists were very polite and helpful. The Lady who checked us in made us feel welcome and special guests. Thank you for nice stay...

Breakfast was not good as it should be in 4* hotel. The coffee was very poor, and the choice of food was limited.

Hands down, this place is awesome. Booked last minute at a great price which included breakfast. Check in was quick and staff were super friendly. Parking was plentiful. Our room was on the second floor and coming from the parking lot, we got turned around a bit and the restaurant staff found us wondering around and were able to show us the right direction to get upstairs. Room was quite large. Heating worked well. Bed was very comfortable with soft linens and great pillows. Bathroom was a nice size. Shower was large with a door--great water pressure and always hot water. We had dinner in the restaurant and while we didn't have reservations, we were shown a table and had a delicious dinner. Everyone was attentive. Checkout was easy and quick. Would DEFINITELY stay here again!!

Nothing comes to mind. We LOVED everything.

Our room was beautiful and very comfortable except with the temperature being too warm. We elected to have the candlelight dinner for 2. Not sure where the candle light was, but the 5 course dinner was excellent!! Each course was very well prepared and had an accompanying drink that paired very well. The actual castle was a bit of a rip off. Paid €7,50 each and there wasn't much to see. No artists to show their work, just basic displays and nothing about the castle or area!

Room was very warm, windows gave very little fresh air and circulation.

Lovely and calm location, next to a small beautiful castle and surrounded by nature. We especially enjoyed the gardens where we spent hours silently reading. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. the room was very clean. They offer an overall nice quality of breakfast (except limited vegan/vegetarian options).

The breakfast buffet was so tightly arranged that it was barely possible to keep any distance from the other guests. The vegan/vegetarian options very rather limited and served right next to many trays of meat. The restaurants at the premises are too expensive for Saxony-standarts for no apparent reason. The room has only one window and wall-to-wall carpet so the small fan didn't really help with the heat, with the loud music playing outside (not at the hotel premises) it took a while to adjust the heat/noise situation.

A perfect environment to detox during a business travel, so historical location in the green.

Parking facilities are limited, so the earlier you arrive the more conventent to park (and more time to enjoy)

Nice and calm place. There is a lot of space for a walk and a playground outside. Very comfortable beds. Kitchen open till 22 :)

EV charger next to the hotel quite expensive

A beautiful spot with well kept castle grounds. Small artisan shops in the courtyard and pleasant surroundings. Fine restaurant. Family and pet friendly!
