Twin room - simple, clean and warm. Dinner - lovely, recommend the pizzas and the salmon. Staff were lovely, friendly and respectful although some clear inconsistencies with training between personel - nothing major though.

spa treatments are a bit pricey for what they are. We had the back, neck and shoulder massage which was £50 each and although the therapists were lovely and the facilities were nice enough; the massage itself was a bit lacking. it was more of a shoulder massage and then they stroked your neck and barely got into your back. I have been other spas and hotels that offer the same treatment for cheaper and came out with better results.

Fabulous weekend spent at the hotel and spa with friends (4 couples getting together). The rooms in the courtyard area are HUGE and everything you could wish for is included, even complimentary access to the hotel's spa. The food was superb (generous portions also), however what really made the weekend special for us was the service received from the staff. They were outstanding, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Special mention must go to Lewis and Hana - both are a real credit to the hotel. Thank you guys!

Location was a little isolated, but that's being very critical. Can't really grumble about anything.

The room was situated in the court yard and lovely and quiet, heard an owl which was lovely. Staff very polite. Room was clean. It’s best to drive or have a taxi booked if leaving the hotel for food etc. Breakfast was lovely, although was forgotten about for coffee and tea so didn’t have it until we had finished our breakfast as asked again. Quickly rectified. Spa was lovely as only ones in there to use the pool, sauna and steam room.

You could hear next door as close to each other so the door slamming late at night. Breakfast was good but no beans or hash browns with buffet style breakfast and allergy to ketchup so a tad dry. In the room was pack of paper cutlery, took food back to find it had been opened and forks missing in the pack, a kitchen in the room but nothing in the cupboards to use for example some cutlery

Calm and peaceful atmosphere with high standards in the main hotel. We were able to use the swimming pool at no extra charges. We were able to have two adjoining rooms so that the whole family were together.

Unfortunately due to room shortages we had to book for rooms away from the main hotel.. Although clean we felt our room (parents) was not to the lovely standards of the main hotel. Decor was a little tired with ripped wallpaper above the bed. In addition the bed was close to a side wall giving very restricted access to one side of the bed. Otherwise facilities were very satisfactory.

We had not booked in for breakfast when we arrived but organised that. Breakfast was fine, with waitress service on Saturday morning and a buffet on Sunday morning. The staff were wonderful and looked after us well. When we returned to the hotel in the evening after our day out the bar was open and the lovely young lady serving certainly pulled me an excellent pint!

Breakfast was a tad expensive. Some of the vegetation around the site was unkempt with brambles and other vegetation encroaching onto the footpaths by our room, but the lawns were neatly mowed. Otherwise there was absolutely nothing to moan about.

On arrival we were met by a lovely receptionist who told us about the facilities and gave us the key to our room. The bedrooms were clean and comfy and we had a great nights sleep. The spa was easy to navigate and quiet when we arrived. I had a lovely massage with Chelsea who also provided me with a robe for use in the spa. Another spa staff member told me I can only get a robe if I pre booked it with our room, but reception said for a fee I could get one. We were served dinner and drinks by Leo, who was very accommodating and friendly. Overall it was a great stay, thanks everyone.

Local pubs and bars are sparse if you’re wanting to go out. Swindon is about a 20 minute Uber drive away which was about £25. We went to a pub in South Cerney which had a band and was lively.

Breakfast was excellent, with a great range of options including pastries, fresh fruit, and savory dishes. Although the coffee wasn't very enjoyable, breakfast was definitely the highlight of my stay. The view of the countryside from the conservatory was absolutely spectacular.

The lighting in the spa was quite strong, which didn't create a very relaxing atmosphere. Additionally, the staff could have been friendlier. In the morning, during cleaning hours, I noticed piles of clean bedding and towels left on the carpet before being used by the staff, which didn’t seem very hygienic.

Room was next to boiler room, which meant a constant whirring fan noise, sometimes louder, which was a bit annoying. We deliberately chose a hotel which was advertised as having pet free rooms, as my wife is very allergic, so were dismayed on arrival to see a cat sitting in reception, and then later wandering around the dining room. Think if advertising pet free rooms, should warn that the hotel has a cat of its own.

Staff were great, price extremely reasonable, stunning location and the pool and spa facilities were clean and well maintained. Both my friend and I couldn't get over how comfortable the bed was, best sleep I've had in ages.

We stayed in a courtyard room which was extremely large and could have easily accommodated twin beds or a king size bed rather than a standard double, which we would have been happy to pay more for. We stayed for 2 nights. Housekeeping arrived around 11am on Saturday and I asked them to return later as was getting ready but not sure that was communicated proper so room wasn't freshened up but no big deal. Would be useful to have some take away delivery menu's available for guests that arrive post dinner service. But honestly, these are all minor, it was a fab stay and we will be back.

We had a room in the main house. It was tastefully decorated and very big. The bed was large and very comfortable. The spa facility was excellent with a free to use pool sauna and steam room.Food was excellent value with a limited choice. Breakfast was included and was exceptional value and included everything you would want. The only sting was the price of the drinks . A large red wine 15 , a single gin and tonic 12. We didn't begrudge it however because the rest of the trip was outstanding value. Definitely going back. Thanks guys.

There was a very strong smell of stale smoke in the reception area which for me, a non smoker, was unpleasant .
