Firstly, as a solo traveller I felt safe at this accommodation. Amazing views of lake and mountain range. The room was spotless and had all the amenities, microwave, toaster, fridge etc., all new and in good working condition. Bed comfortable and made up with lovely linen. The tissues in the bathroom were of superior quality (far superior than those in a hotel) and the lotion, soap and hair shampoo good quality. If you have small children there is a playing area across the road. Friendly staff. Darren was exceptionally helpful and carried my bag across the road to the shuttle bus, how’s that for service!! THANK YOU! I would not hesitate in recommending this accommodation.

We enjoyed our stay, location was perfect. Close to everything shops and restaurants. We spent most of our time walking along the Wanaka lake and taking photos of the famous Wanaka Tree. Great view facing the lake and beautiful mountains.

After booking we've been inform that there will be no one in the reception between 10:30 am to 2 pm which was fine. We came nearly 4pm and still nobody in thier office. I called their mobile and just went to msg bank. During our stay, most of the time there's no one in their office.

Lake Wanaka is right outside the window of the room. The weather was very nice when we arrived. The sun filled the whole room and made it very warm. Warm floor, warm house. There is also a small stove that can make complementary food for babies. A very nice host who prepared a very comfortable crib for the baby. The hotel's location is great！It only takes five minutes to walk to the center. It's very convenient for eating and shopping. Just remember to make a reservation at a delicious restaurant. I really love the fantastic lake Wanaka. I will definitely come back when baby grows up！

Fantastic views & location. Friendly & helpful staffs. Parking always was available on site. Clean rooms with balcony with chairs.

Only thing I can fault is the blinds in our room #8 didn't shut fully which let light in when sleeping. We did inform on checkout & hopefully this minor issue will be fixed. Besides that all was very good.

We arrived late at night and the room was warm and had everything we needed to spend the night not freezing. We woke up to a wonderful lake view, which you can enjoy from inside the room or outside on a little balcony. Definitely a highlight of our south island trip.

The place is a bit outdated, but honestly, the facilities are really well-kept and comfortable, so it's more of a comment than a critique. I would definitely stay again.

The people I spoke with that worked there were lovely. The room had plenty of space and the shower was huge. The ensuite laundry was fantastic. The kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of space to cook and eat.

I found the bed a little too hard for my preference, but that is always so personal. There was a window from the apartment above looking down into the living room of my apartment from what I can tell which I didn't notice until I was running around partially undressed.

Location was spot on. We loved our view of the lake! Also, the walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. Even though there was ample parking by the beach, the view was beautiful from our room. Room was very clean, bathroom had more than enough space, toiletries were much appreciated. Staff was very helpful when talking about hikes and things to see later on in our road trip.

More parking for the motel would be a bonus but was never a problem for us.

Superb location (it is world class view capital, Wanaka, but our apartment had views from the back deck so still worth noting), apartment was large, warm and well set-up, staff were helpful and friendly. We got a bonus poem and chocolate cake, which were much appreciated.

Some adjacent guests got back very late w/e nights we were there and were yelling at each other outside other apartment windows (including ours).

Love the house. It has a family vibes. House is clean and bed is comfy. There are 2 washroom, 1 at the ground level and the other attached to room on the upper level. Walking distance to the shops, restaurants and lake. Can the the lake from the patio area. There is a cute exotic shorthair cat near he apartment office. Staff is friendly too.

We were in room 5. The bathroom was a bit tired, and the sink was SO low. But the main issue with it was it was quite damp in the bathroom / smelt a bit fusty. E.g. when I opened a new loo roll from the cupboard under the sink, one side of it was wet. The towels wouldn’t dry in there, and there was nowhere outside the bathroom to hang them to dry. Also, there was nowhere in the kitchen area to hang the tea towel.
