The property is very characterful and comfortable, the staff are also very pleasant and helpful. It was cold during our stay and there were two fires lit (one in the bar and one in the dining room), which made it very cosy. It is possible to imagine it being very nice in the summer too. Additionally, the food and service at dinner were excellent. On the second night, there was a large group in the main dining room, but the waiter carried our table into the bar to be beside the fire, which was really nice. We had a nice walk directly from the hotel around the area.
The breakfast was quite basic for the price, with no fresh fruit or juice and also no hot food. It was difficult to find anything gluten free for my coeliac wife. Our room was not freshened up after our first night.

+ beautiful property + AC and naturally cool + Restaurant was good and nice terrasse + Cute swimming pool + Nice english speaking staff + Good breakfast
- the bathrooms were frankly subpar. There was no way to hang the mini shower head. No soap holder. The bathtube glassdoor was too small so a lot of water was being spilled everywhere from showering. Not enough shelving for products. - front door didn t have soundproofing. we could hear the noise coming from hallways / front desk - the property visit was a bit underwhelming. It could be worth focusing on the older history of the chateau and surroundings.

As you approach Chateau it feels special to be staying in such a building. Its really peaceful and other guests were enjoying the beautiful weather on the courtyard sipping drinks. Staff had us checked in in minutes and room key given. While the room wasn't as posh as other places it was 100% clean and everything worked. It was so inviting. Bed was comfy and staff were really helpful. Good location for getting around. Even has its own wine cave (wine is good!) and shop!!
The breakfast was a little underwhelming and there could be a few more items for choice..maybe more cheeses etc but it was fine. Eating outside or in the dining room was lovely. The pool wasn't heated. A couple of solar panels would be a quick fix on this and not that much of an outlay given the sunny weather they get.

Set in a beautiful house and central to local towns including Saint Emilion. Carole was very helpful in communicating with us prior to our stay, and went above and beyond helping my partner to access medical attention due to a severe ear infection. She contacted her own pharmacist and provided details of the nearest walk in medical centre where he received help and the required prescription. The breakfast was set out in the hall leading to the dining room and offered a good selection making up a continental breakfast including scrambled eggs and small sausages. Unfortunately we didn't have a chance to enjoy the swimming pool or a tour of the vin caves but we did enjoy our stay.

Rooms were a bit more expensive than if I booked with the hotel, but this was an almost last-minute trip. The rooms sizes were generous, the Superior room was like a suite with chairs and a sofa, and a huge TV. The full room had a balcony to enjoy the outdoors. Food at the bar was delightful. Wine tour was interesting, and wines were reasonably priced for good quality. Breakfast was very filling, offering eggs, hot meat, perfect croissants, breads, yogurts, cereals, cheese made on site, fruit, and hot beverages. The setting is perfect for relaxing on a vineyard. Overall, it was an exceptional St. Emilion experience!

Well connected, located just a short trip from the city of Bordeaux, the chateau offers clean, fresh, spacious rooms with comfortable beds and amazing sunset views. The check-in is at 16:00 and you do want to come in at that time to make it for the tour and tasting - those end after 17:00. Also, there’s another chateau with bigger wine yard and operation just across the street, that does short tours and wine tasting as well. Combining the two gives you a good overview of the area.
The breakfast buffet options are a bit limited. Also, the wifi is a bit sluggish but hey, you are not coming there to work.

Lovely spacious bedroom, very quiet. friendly atmosphere and helpful staff. We had stayed here a few years ago and were delighted that it is still as good as we remembered. The restaurant seems to has changed location within the building but the quality of the food hasn't. A very good evening menu with good choices so ideal to be able to dine in the restaurant and enjoy a lovely meal with some of the chateau's wine without a drive.

The views were amazing, and the staff was very friendly! We enjoyed our stay! We even forgot something in the room and they called me to tell me we forgot it, so we drove back to pick it up! We were very pleased!
The only thing that we didn't like was that the mattress was very stiff, so we didn't get a very good night's sleep but other than that it was a great trip! We highly recommend this beautiful place!

Huge, comfortable room with coffee/tea/water and a great oversized tub/shower combo. Loved that the bathroom was in one of the towers of the 16th century chateau. Staff was very helpful, breakfast was great, and the area surrounding the property was breathtaking (especially the sunset!).
While the staff was great, one thing they could do better is communicate details about the winery/vineyard that is part of the hotel. Unfortunately, by time we asked about the wines, there was no one around to give us a tour so we were unable to experience that piece of the chateau.

The building is superb, the rooms were excellent and the restaurant offered very good food. Service was excellent throughout and the tour of the vineyard was well worth the 10 Euros a head.
Very little to complain about, would have liked a shower rather than a bath and if you are staying for multiple nights the restaurant menu is a little limited, especially considering there is little else nearby. But I really am picking holes here!
