Very warm welcome from this family-run B&B. We loved our room with a view of the hills around Ronda as well as the gorgeous breakfast, and we appreciated personalized tips on the best places to eat. We traveled during a cold snap and the room was nicely heated; bathroom was large and up to date. I only wish the weather had been warm enough to enjoy the beautiful outdoor spaces such as our balcony and the shared patio! Ronda is small, but having 2 nights there allowed us to make the most of it and sightsee at a leisurely pace. The B&B is centrally located in a beautiful cobblestoned neighborhood - it's nice to be able to pop back throughout a day of sightseeing for a jacket or to use the bathroom.
Street parking is not allowed in front of the property, but the signage is confusing and we parked there anyway -- and we got a ticket, so if you're bringing a car, make sure to get Alicia and Gordon's advice on where to park (paid lot just up the road, free public parking a little further - very easy).

Well appointed and comfortable property in the heart of the old town. We loved the decor and the historic features throughout. We had the room with the terrace and the views were amazing. The hosts Gordon and Alicia are lovely and Gordon, being English (or Scottish to be more precise) had lots of great advice for exploring the beautiful city of Ronda. It was great to be able to drop off our bags before parking in a free car park about a 10 minute walk from the property.
The only reason I didn't give this property a 10 was because we thought the breakfast could have been better by adding more fresh fruit and more cereal options.

This was a magical stay. Gordon and Alicia are very kind and thoughtful hosts who ensure that your stay in Ronda is excellent with personalized recommendations on what to do in the local area. But that’s only if you want to leave the property! The house is filled with character and you feel right at home. The room was very comfortable with magnificent views from some windows. Breakfast was delicious in the courtyard, surrounded by fig trees, grape vines and visits from the local peacocks. Take a short flight of stairs to the top of the wall and you’ll be greeted by the best view in Ronda.

The guesthouse has the most wonderful view in all of Ronda, offering a breathtaking panorama that made our stay unforgettable. The breakfast was amazing, featuring fresh, local ingredients and a stunning view to enjoy it with. Moreover, the host was incredibly friendly and welcoming. He gave us plenty of useful information about Ronda, including excellent recommendations for restaurants and must-see spots. He stayed in touch throughout our stay, checking in to see if we needed any more help or additional information. It was clear he truly cared about ensuring we had the best experience. The room was very clean and cozy, with comfortable bedding and thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. The guesthouse itself was quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city. It was just a short walk to all the major attractions. We truly felt at home here and would highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone visiting Ronda!

A little gem of a place a short walk from many bars, restaurants and iconic sights. The guesthouse is full of character, a particular highlight being the beautiful garden and pool area. We had our breakfast here and were treated to the sight of wild peacocks mooching about the garden, it was a stunning insight into the local wildlife. The breakfast itself was delicious, a lovely variety of continental foods with ample coffee and juice. We liked the communal lounge with a fridge offering drinks paid for by way of honesty bar. So convenient. Our room was very clean and comfortable, the air conditioning was really effective so even though it was the height of summer we had a very comfortable nights sleep.
We had to park a short distance away in order to unload then park in a public car park in town (Sat 5pm until Mon 11am at a cost of €36) as the parking in Ronda is very difficult. However this is not a reflection on the guesthouse but something which needs to be factored into plans, particularly if anybody has mobility issues. There are free parking areas in Ronda but at busy times they may be full and still involve a walk to accommodation.

We loved our stay at Salvatierre Guesthouse. The hosts were very sweet and helpful. They provided us with a lot of interesting information about the area and gave us recommendation for restaurants. The guest house has a lot character and the view from their own ‘tower’ in the backyard is breathtaking! We would definitely stay here again! Thanks again for this wonderful stay, Alicia and Gordon!
Nothing the hosts can change, but good to know is that there is no parking for guests in the street of the guest house. It is ok to stop and unload your luggage though.

Ronda, and Salvatierra, were highlights of our trip, perhaps because we knew nothing about them. Sadly, we reserved only one night at the lovely guesthouse, when we would have preferred 2 or 3 nights. It is really a special place, in an old building which the young couple who own it have beautifully restored, with comfortable rooms, a large garden, a pool, with a great breakfast to start the day. Our room was spacious with a lovely, large bathroom, and a covered balcony where you could sit and gaze out over the countryside. Staying for 3 days in such an interesting and lovely place, with 2 national parks nearby, affords the opportunity to do some hiking as well as to visit the nearby white villages. Not to be missed in Ronda are the Arab baths and an amazing and beautiful gorge dividing the town. Gordon, one of the owners, offered several suggestions of restaurants where we could find good, and Alicia, his partner, provided history and information, in addition to a delicious breakfast. They are a lovely and interesting couple and meeting them and staying in their lovely home was one of the highlights of our trip.
Nothing, we were just sorry that we had only booked for one night. Had we known what a gem it and Ronda were, we would booked for longer.

There're 3 rooms in the guesthouse. We saw 2 of them and could choose. We took the room with the terrace and the nice view and this is definitely the best one. The other one under the roof has very small windows so the choice was quickly made. Very comfortable bed, clean and cozy room and big bathroom with shower and bath. Alicia & Gordon, the hosts, are very friendly and give plenty of information and are available for any question. The B&B is very well located in the old center of Ronda. Breakfast was included in the price and was nice.
I forgot to tell our hosts because if I had so , they certainly would have taken immediately action. Just a little remark on the towels. We got each a very big one and a very tiny one. The tiny one (just big enough to dry your hands) wasn't very useful so a medium and a big towel would have been perfect.

Stayed here with the wife, my brother, and his wife. We all absolutely loved this place. Just the wife and I stayed in Ronda last year in a hotel overlooking the gorge and bridge, but payed more than twice the price of this guest house. It has a real homely feel, lots of interesting nooks and crannies throughout, ornaments, books, pictures etc everywhere. An honesty fridge with beer, wine, soft drinks and snacks, a pool that was bigger than it looks in the pictures on here, and a lovely garden where an ample breakfast was served by the brilliant owner Gordon. The garden even has private access to an old Moorish watchtower that's been there for many hundreds of years. The room with the balcony is well worth it and has stunning views across the landscape. Watched the moon rise, and the sun rise. What a fab two night stay and would definitely return :) A+++
Street parking is residents only so you'll have to find elsewhere to park. Fine to stop for half an hour though to unload etc. Don't let that put you off though.

The room has a breath taking view. The house has actually 3 rooms and we’ve got the room with the balcony and a fantastic view. We also had our own private bathroom with a tub. The whole house was made with love. It’s just so wonderful! There is a garden with a pool and also a place where you can just sit and enjoy the great view! The best part is the host - Alice! She took great care of the house and her guests. She even provide us a map with her personal touch of favorite places, great local restaurants and the route how to get through the best sites. Thank you Alice!
Nothing! It’s just amazing!
