We loved our stay at Patio 77 B&B and would definitely return when we visit Mexico City in the future. It's in a cute area outside of the main tourist areas but with good travel links to them, with lots of great local shops, cafes and places to eat. The breakfasts we had included included in our stay were INCREDIBLE! Each day we had the delicious fresh fruit and homemade granola, then followed by a different delicious hot dish each of our 5 mornings. We particularly enjoyed the molotes. Our room was great too, very spacious and with a really good size, comfortable bed. It had everything that we needed and fresh, filtered water was topped up for us each day. Staff were really kind and met us in the early hours after our night flight to check in. They shared some great tips on things happening for Dia de Muertos and also for a great dining concept restaurant, which spotlights a different state of Mexico each week.
Not much to say here, only that in our room the toilet and shower are open to the main room. So beat that in mind if you would prefer privacy with these. I'm not sure if this is the same in all the rooms.

Really enjoyed my stay there. I was there for both work and leisure and so I needed a comfortable place. There was no AC but I never needed to even turn on the fan. It was comfortable the whole time. The bed was also very comfortable for both my husband and me. The breakfast every morning was something to look forward to! The neighborhood isn’t as “trendy” as other areas but I found that was a good thing. It still has amazing restaurants nearby and I felt very safe always.

The hotel is really cute, conveniently located within colonia San Rafael, and the hosts were very attentive and answered any questions we had via Whatsapp when not in office. They cleaned our room very nicely and replaced towels while we were out and about. It is really nice to have the kitchen there so you can put leftovers in the fridge or grab coffee/tea any time. I also appreciated that they are making an effort towards sustainability with biodegradable soap and water/energy-saving appliances in the rooms.
Not much to complain about! I wouldn't recommend using the laundry service as it's a little spendy and there is a laundry place right down the street (unless you have just one item of clothes or really can't spare a moment to take them to the cleaner) but they are very upfront about the cost of every service they offer-I'm just not very good at guessing how much my clothes weigh ;)

El Patio 77 was a stunning oasis amidst the bustle of Mexico City. The cozy rooms, with clean facilities and truly a quiet peaceful abode tucked away in San Rafael. The staff was so sincere, my mother had stomach issues and they were quick to offer medicinal help as well as tea or fruit to help support her. We found ourselves so satisfied ending our days early 6pm to come back and read in our beds, just to spend quality time together in the hotel. Not to mention it is sustainable and community driven, the breakfast was delicious!

We had an excellent stay at El Patio 77. The building is beautiful with lovely restored rooms and an amazing internal courtyard where breakfast is served each day. Location is great, right near to some of the best taco spots in town. The breakfast is amazing (and huge) and the staff are warm and very attentive. The only issue we had was with our shower on the first day, but it was promptly sorted out within hours. And on the weekend no less. An amazing response that we very much appreciated. We loved our stay here and would definitely stay again. Thank you El Patio 77 team.
Nothing. We had a great time!

El Patio 77 is a gem! Located in a quiet neighborhood that's somehow close to everything, it was the perfect place to call home for the 5 days we spent in CDMX. The building has historic charm and it's been thoughtfully decorated with an eclectic collection of antiques. The beds were comfortable and our bedroom was quiet. The stay included breakfast every morning served in the courtyard and Sunday brunch was phenomenal, definitely worth including in the weekend! The manager of the hotel, Elvia, is a native of the city and is super engaging, helpful and had plenty of quality suggestions for our trip. Stay here.

It was very clean and the entire place was adorned with plants and flowers. The staff cleaned the room and made the beds everyday. The neighborhood felt very safe. The staff was kind and helpful. The Sunday brunch was lovely. The price for brunch was extra. The included breakfast was very nice. We loved the B&B dog.
There is no air conditioning, no TV in the rooms, and no elevator. This was not a problem for me, it could be for some. They did provide a very nice fan and with the windows opened it felt comfortable.

The house is fabulous as are the staff. Really jolly, kind and helpful. Made us feel v much at home. Wonderfully comfortable bed!
I know is supposed to be a “green” B&B, but the shower was not great. No pressure at all. Not great toiletries, no soap dish, not enough towels. Also we needed help yo get suitcases upstairs as there is no lift ( it’s a lovely old house) but no one available after a certain time. However, many kind apologies for this. Needs freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast and perhaps a choice.

As soon as I entered I felt a very warm and welcoming feeling. The entire Mansion is thoughtfully decorated with beautiful things and details. Enjoying breakfast in a light-filled atrium with design classics is a feast for the eyes and stomach. Elvia, who is the manager, helped me with everything from ideas what to do and see in Mexico City to organizing a trip to Xochimilco with the hotel's own limousine service. Also want to mention that the house felt safe and secure when there was an earthquake
