Small and cozy hotel in a great location in the centre of Luang Prabang, you can walk everywhere (temples, river, morning alms, markets, plenty of restaurants and bakeries) in just a few minutes. The room was big and very clean, with all the amenities you might need. Breakfast is freshly prepared and very tasty (try the banana pancake!). But what makes this place stand out is the staff: they are all very friendly and helpful, but Keota at the reception was an absolute star, she helped us arrange transportation and daytrips, and even managed to get us the elusive tickets for the high-speed train to Vientiane - nothing was too much trouble, and she did everything with a smile.
The room overlooks an internal courtyard, therefore it does not have much of a view and is a bit dark - on the other hand, this keeps it nice and cool even in the heat of the day.

We got there early so left our bags there for a while before checkin. Got small bottles of water and new towels every day. We had a little veranda/patio which looked onto a pile of wood stashed out the back in a courtyard but it was still good and we used it to sit outside and have some drinks. It was the room from the photos and was big and spacious. The breakfast had tea, coffee and juice self serve and then you ordered off an a la cart menu and got a plate of fruit. They had toast with different versions of eggs, a noodle dish, pancakes and muesli and yogurt options. They can help you book tours and do money exchange. The owner Lyn is so nice and will help you with anything you need! :D Its in a good location for walks to temples, the mekong and the night market.
Some tea as well as coffee in the room would be good. There was tea in a canister out the front for breakfast, maybe it was available all day? but we never checked. The Wifi cut out on our second day and we couldn’t contact our tour provider. They allowed us to use their Internet from their phone though. Their customer service really is very good. The key turns all the power off when you leave the room so your fridge doesn't keep things cold during the day and aircon aren’t on when you come back. The veranda/patio out the back could do with a table not just chairs.

Lynn, the receptionist, and her husband went consistently out of their way to make our stay as pleasant and problem-free as possible. She reminded me of a concierge in a five star hotel, who are legendary for accommodating all the requests of their guests. The facilities were very good but her smile and special attention to each guest added an extra dimension that no physical facility can replace. Her attentions to details were also a plus. The room was clean, spacious and the hot shower worked very well. The location is fantastic. One minute away from everything and yet tugged in a very quiet street in an authentic and charming old building.
The bread at breakfast (not having sweet bread is probably better) but this si a minor detail in an otherwise super prositive experience.

Lovely host informing us about the city and the best places to see or eat. A host like her makes the entire travel experience so much better. Good English spoken, so no communication issues. Received an upgrade (larger room with a balcony). Location is great, just a few steps to the river and the street with many restaurants as well as the night market. Overall good value for money.
The aircon made a bit of noise but we had no difficulties sleeping, so didn't bother. Some AC maintenance would be good. Forgot to inform the management on check out.

We had a great stay at this hotel. First we were upgraded to a bigger room, which was super spacious, super clean. The bathroom was a dream considering Asian standards. It has a fully closed shower cabin, nice water pressure, finally some hooks to hang all the towels!! Breakfast was great, included fruit. The staff is nice and helpful in booking boats, taxis etc. Laundry turned out fine as well. Absolutely recommend.
Can't really complain about anything. The toilet paper sucked but it's the same as in every hotel we had so far.

We loved this place - it was so clean and smelt amazing! The location was perfect - close enough to the hustle and bustle of the night markets, but far away enough to relax and not be disturbed. The bed was extremely comfy and the cleaning staff did a fantastic job! However, the highlight of this stay was without a doubt the staff. The staff, especially Lin and her beautiful family, were so friendly and could not accommodate us any better. They helped us to hire a scooter, gave us directions and recommendations, and just in general could not fault them. This place is definitely worth the stay - they have recently undergone refurbishments and everything is up to such a high standard.

A great little hotel in a top location, right in downtown Luang Prabang, easy walking distance to all the local attractions. There are many beautiful temples nearby, as well as a lot of restaurants (for French-style foods, try Zurich Bread Factory & Cafe; but there are many more restaurants of all kinds, both Asian and Western, all over the area). To view the Mekong river in all its glory is just a two minute walk from the hotel. And there are various cafe's and restaurants overlooking the water, to sip a drink or have a meal, and watch the boats travel past. The night market is less than 10 minutes walk away, and while walking towards it you also pass many shops, some bars, massage places, etc. The location where alms are given to the monks is just a few minutes from the hotel too. My room was spacious and had a fan over the bed, as well as nice cold air conditioning. The bed was big and comfortable. There was a small working desk too, and a cold little fridge to keep a few drinks cool. The bathroom had a normal as well as monsoon-type shower. Everything was very clean. The WiFi worked well for me. Breakfast is served outside, and there is a menu of different breakfast plates to choose from, such as toast with eggs in different ways, or a banana pancake with honey, for example. It is made fresh every time. The hotel can arrange a variety of tours in the region, including river boat trips on the Mekong, and a range of other ones including trips by private car to your destination of choice. There is also a laundry service available. The place is managed by a friendly and welcoming couple, who kindly gave advice about what to see and do in town when I arrived for my three night stay. And even though it was in the low season, the hotel was full or nearly full during the time of my stay, which didn't surprise me, as it was such an excellent experience. I enjoyed staying here: strongly recommended!
It was all good :-)

Very clean, peaceful area. Room was lovely, spacious, clean and comfortable. Everything you need for a great stay. The free breakfast was perfect, lots of choice and always freshly cooked to order. Location was perfect, a few minutes walk from the main area. Tom was very friendly and helpful, making sure we always had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend a stay here if you are in Luang Prabang, great value for money for what you get here!!
Nothing. Everything was great!

The location is good, a 10 mins walk to the night market and cafe within 5 mins. The room is very spacious, toilet light abit dimmed but it’s okay, water pressure is good. The breakfast is okay, just that staff take a more than usual time to prepare the meal. However I think this is the pace in Luang Prabang, enjoying slow pace. So far I really like this hotel, oh and also the staff, really friendly and helpful who let us to check in first before we need to pay the hotel, and also another morning guy, I forgot to ask his name, he is Hmong tribes , can speak good English , and another night staff can speak Chinese too! Really flexible and really like Luang Prabang. Also there’s drinking water and hote water available and the lobby all the time.
Nothing much, probably the weather, it’s too hot even in Wet season

I stayed at this hotel and it was absolutely fantastic. The location couldn't be better, right in the heart of Luang Prabang. It felt safe, especially for solo travelers like myself. It was also surprisingly quiet, which can be rare in Asia. The shower had great water pressure and hot water, and the rooms were equipped with air conditioning. The breakfast was incredible, with plenty of options to choose from. But the highlight was definitely the receptionist, who was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything we needed. I highly recommend this place.
