Great hotel near Deshaies. The view from our room was absolutely stunning. We felt like we were in a boat while laying on our bed. The beach is beautiful, the staff is absolutely wonderful and there are plenty of water activities to do (paddle, boat, kayak...). Also, the massage (from Alicia) was exceptional. All our family members got to book one with her. The buffet option was ideal with kids since all the restaurants we went too in the area (tested 2 in Deshaies) were extremely long to serve.
The buffet options didn't vary a lot and the breakfast was deceiving (what was wrong this those eggs all week? ;) and don't get me started on the coffee ^^) The long walk up hill (on the driveway) to get to our hotel room since the elevator was down.

Fantastic beachside hotel, great location, staff friendly and helpful. Food was great in the al a carte midday meal. Beach was quiet and always space to sit with plenty of sunbeds available. Little shop was great for things we'd forgotten. Other restaurants in walking distance. Good list of day trips to take. We stayed in a beachside bungalow that was nice and quiet (except for the waves!) and the hotel has a diverse range of accommodations.
Could have done with a usb charging point in the room and a few more lights as our bungalow was quite dark! Buffets at breakfast and dinner were a bit samey, and you could tell that they had left overs of some things that were just served differently the next day. Could have done with a bit more choice if staying for longer than a few days. Also we know the dining room was outside, with nothing to prevent the birds coming in, which was fine, but the floor wasn't washed at all in the 6 days we were there, quite covered in bird poo by the end!

Great choice of food for buffet breakfast and dinner. Comfortable, large beds in spacious bungalow room on the sea front. Great space around the pool and on the beach. Friendly team comfortable with both French and English. Beautiful location off the main road with a private beach. A fab choice for fans of Death in Paradise as close to all the filming sites. Only 45minute drive from the airport in one direction and zoo in the other.
Mixed messages from the team at times - beach bar changed its opening times mid-stay, said they weren’t selling pizzas when they should have been etc. Toilet in the room wouldn’t flush properly a lot of the time.

I was initially hesitant to book after reading some negative reviews, but everything went smoothly, and we truly enjoyed our stay. The property offers a variety of accommodations, including a hotel-like building and around 80 huts scattered across the grounds. We chose to stay in one of the huts and loved it. The room was comfortable, nicely decorated, and showed no signs of deterioration as mentioned in some comments. However, it would have been helpful to have more hooks for hand towels and swimsuits, as well as a proper toilet paper dispenser. The parking lot is a bit of a walk from the main hotel area, but you can drive in to drop off your luggage or call for a buggy to pick you up, which is convenient. The staff was friendly and professional, though there seemed to be some issues with overall management. For instance, there were delays in bringing our luggage, glasses and bottles weren’t cleared from the beach chairs promptly, and the chairs themselves could have been cleaned more regularly. That said, the resort has a charming, relaxed atmosphere and doesn’t feel like one of those massive, impersonal complexes. The use of natural materials in the design adds to its laid-back vibe. The private beach is a highlight—it’s never too crowded, making it perfect for unwinding. There’s also a beach volleyball court and several free activities organized by the resort, which we appreciated. The restaurant served only buffet-style meals. While the food isn’t particularly memorable, it’s decent and OK for the price. Overall, this is a great place for a relaxing experience, especially if you’re looking for a more intimate resort with activities to enjoy during your stay. For the price, it’s worth it!

Location was great, very nice beach with plenty of shade and chaise lounges. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Staff speak English very well. Breakfast selection of fresh fruits, yogurt and toppings, breads and juices were very nice.
Room was small but nice, huge sliding glass doors to balcony that gave a wonderful view of the ocean. AC didn't work well at all 27c/81f first three days and I complained every day. Finally the rest of the week it got down to 24c/75f and we had to keep the bathroom door shut to get it that cool. Mini refrigerator didn't work when we got there but they exchanged it with another one that did. The electric is European style 240v so if traveling from the US take a power converter if you want to plug anything in. Breakfast only had the made to order egg station one day of the week, this should be open everyday. Scrambled Eggs were inconsistent, too dry most days, too runny to eat one day. Variety the same all the time, never any French toast or pancakes.

I booked a room in the main building but they needed to put me in a bungalow due to technical issues. It worked out super, no problems at all. Bungalow was great, good AC, clean room, comfy bed. The hotel area is hughe but also great. Staff is really friendly and helpful, they do all spread the feeling of you are welcome here. So thanks for the reception Guillaume and Justine, at the Bar Sophie, Lucas and Mahou and the young friendly chef at the Restaurant (I didn't catch the name lol) for live-cooking my dinner. Even the manager Leon takes care about you personally. The pool and the beach are awesome and even with 100s of customers it never feels busy or full. Restaurant and bar at night were really good. And Wifi was free mostly everywhere.
When arriving and leaving the hotel the long distances could be a little bit too long with your baggage. But they open the gate for you so you can park your car closer. I had some insects in my room - no big drama and they were gone at night. I guess it is still Caribbean. You certainly need a car to move arround.

Breakfast, snack bar items and cocktails/drink selection were very good. Comfortable and ample pool chairs and extensive grounds. You never felt crowded or in search of beach chairs, and we were in peak season. Well done. Excellent generous towel policy, unlike some other places on the island. Super comfortable bed. An abundance of hot shower and tap water...that really rates with us. Good thick towels changed daily.
Our main issue is the cuisine, which is need of an executive chef to upgrade the quality and choices, particularly dinner buffet. Dinner offerings were limited and not wonderful. The ice cream presentation was unappealing and messy looking. The grounds and beach area need some sprucing up. A few places looked very shabby and run down. We don't play tennis, but are the enormous green HEAD banners flanking the courts really necessary? They were a bit of an eyesore. Although our room in bungalow #4 was comfortable, it could have used more hooks and the bathroom was very snug.

The facility, meals and staff were outstanding as was the tour we took of Death in Paradise locations.
It would help if there was some mention of the insects and how to combat them as we were bitten a number of times. Also, although we don't generally watch television we wanted to watch a rugby match...Ireland v. France... but were told that although we had a television, none of the televisions in the cabanas were operational. No point in having televisions if they don't work. It would also help if there was some signage at the front gate to inform customers that they should park and walk up to register.

The hotel is a resort with several types of accommodation. We lived in a small, not very richly equipped bungalow, partly overlooking the sea, with simple, Scandinavian-style furnishings. The bed was really big and very comfortable. However, the elements of the building could have done with some maintenance. There was water in the tap all the time, which is not always obvious on the island. The restaurant has a magnificent view of the sea, I enjoyed eating there. The breakfast buffet was very rich. The cook was very nice, he cooked the eggs with great effort. Unfortunately, he did not know how to make an omelette. We could buy cocktails on the beach. Unfortunately, we spent a short time there and could not use the other options. When we left, they organized the transfer to the port at our request.
The bungalows could be maintained a little better
