Beautiful boutique hotel. The staff couldn’t do enough to help. Restaurant at the beach so breakfast with a view. Our villa had 3 bedrooms and a private pool. The whole place was amazing! Very private and small. If you want a big, busy hotel this is not for you. The staff organised jet skis for us to come to the hotel beach. They also supplied breakfast boxes for our early departure. Location was great - 10 minute walk to Fisherman’s Village and 3 minutes to a 7-11 for snacks!

The approach to the hotel is a dirt track which is the only down side

Loved the pool, loved our room very tasteful and stylish decor, it was in a beautiful location and walkable to fisherman’s village which was great. It was a gorgeous honeymoon and I would recommend this hotel. The staff who worked at the place were so lovely, and very attentive they couldn’t do more for you!

Shower pressure wasn’t great. There was a slight vibe with the male boss and the rest of the staff. And at one point there seemed to be an argument we witnessed. And the staff seemed a bit intimidated by him. His friends also came and stayed at the restaurant all day one day and they were quite noisy. Our room also leaked water and we were not offered anything complimentary for the inconvenience of having to move rooms… which you would expect from a 4* hotel

The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are large and spacious, very clean and quiet. Great if you want to experience a luxurious style for a fair price. The location is pretty decent, just a short walk to Fisherman's Village. The staff were all very nice and welcoming, the pool area and the private beach are both amazing. Breakfast is just ok.

- No room service unless you book a Villa - Front desk is not available after 11 PM - Low water pressure in the shower, faucets were leaking in the sinks. - The mini fridge didn't cool well at all, they replaced it for us but it was still the same. - We were disappointed with the resort allowing children, such a boutique hotel which is mainly targeting couples should be adults only. - We were asked to pay Corkage for wanting to drink our own alcohol in the pool.

Our stay at the Cielo has been absolutely amazing in all regards. Rooms are spacious, very clean and have a beautiful interior design. These aspects also apply to the entire hotel area - you can see the attention to detail no matter where you look at. One thing that needs to be highlighted especially is the staff with Mark and his team - they have taken very good care of us and made our trip to Cielo a really special memory. Also the restaurant by the pool is absolutely amazing - prices are a little higher than other restaurants in the area but the quality of food and taste is simply outstanding - so good, that we have actually never eaten outside of the hotel during our 1 week stay. Also the electronic lounge music in the background gives the whole location an even more relaxing and enjoyable vibe. Overall highest recommendation - thanks a lot and looking forward to our next stay already!

Beautiful boutique hotel. Recently refurbished. Staff so friendly could not do enough. Great menu varied and high quality plus a varies drinks & cocktail menu. Loved the pool facing the sea. All the fittings high quality and I loved the little boutique better clothes than fisherman's village in my opinion. Bed very comfy we had the duplex with private pool, stunning. If you can afford the sea view also I would go for those rooms as they are near the beach. But all the rooms amazing we took a peak, as we went in low occupancy period (1-12 June 2024). The garden rooms are just as beautiful. Great location to get to Fishermans village, quiet in the evening if you want action go to Chewang beach. You can walk to Fishermans village but with the heat we used GRAB app took minutes to arrive and approx £4-5 each way. I would defo stay again at this place without hesitation, we saw other hotels on the Island they tend to be 'too big' and not very personal or in need of refurb. We went June (low Season) great weather for 12 days. We had the pool to our selves most days. No children not sure on the policy but a must for us. We had a few maintenance issues they fixed them there and then no problem at all. I read some of the other reviews before booking, regarding the small access road to the resort. They are in the process of renovating this, as the adjacent hotel is expanding. It was no problem for us we didn't walk down as said before we used Grab. It's a short distance anyhow we preferred not to walk with the heat and humidity. I think by 2025 this will be renovated. Oh ref breakfast which was included. We never made it in time as we went out late and didnt get up until 11am! Lol. I did the laundry service whilst there (very good) and used the small Spa. Also highly recommend. Also we didnt use the comp kayak and paddle board too much time chilling .....complimentary high quality beach towels forgot to add and changed every day!

I would like to have the complimentary yoga PM slots, as on holiday I wasn't to keen to get up 8-10am I believe they are going to modify this we discussed with with reception when we left.

This hotel is perfection. From the moment we arrived everything about our stay at Cielo was perfect. The room was so stylish and clean. Staff are constantly cleaning at this hotel throughout the day making sure that it is spotless everywhere. The breakfast, I will dream of forever more, the chia pudding *chef’s kiss*. The breakfast tables have the most lovely view of the sea. The pool was cold and so refreshing and the view from the pool to the sea so lovely. We loved rosé drinking at happy hour. The staff throughout the hotel were so lovely but especially in the bar and restaurant, they do not miss a trick and have you covered for what you need at all times. The management are stylish and attentive. I can’t wait to return next time I visit Thailand.

I will start with our conclusion. The Cielo was a 10 out of 10! We had the DeluxeSuite with private pool and absolutely loved it. There was just nothing, we could complain about. The entire staff was extremely friendly, aware of potential needs and very helpful with everything. Thai Culture at its best. And on top the food in their restaurant was excellent. Same goes for their Cocktails. Finally, the location at the beautiful beach is also great and quiet (at least during our stay). We are usually on daily trips, but the Cielo "forces" you to just stay there a few days to enjoy and relax.

Not really negative, just minor points: The breakfast choices may get a little bit boring, if you stay longer, but it was totally fine for us. The street, where you can walk to Fishermans Village, doesn't reach the Cielo. You need to walk along the beach for a small distance or you need to go along the main road.

This place was amazing. An oasis of greenery and right on the ocean. The people were so friendly and welcoming, we booked a duplex suite with pool & loved it. It was so refreshing to get into the pool and cool off from the heat. Room was spotlessly clean, loved the fan which meant we turned off the AC at night. They even give you a beach bag to use & umbrellas (we were there in rainy season). I would absolutely recommend and come back to Cielo. Thanks for an amazing stay.

WiFi in the accommodation wasn’t good at all. Also, there wasn’t an option to not clean towels everyday which I wasn’t comfortable about. The spa is super expensive and you can get a great massage just outside for a fifth of the price, but great to have it on site if you didn’t care what you pay.

This was the best place we stayed at during our trip to Thailand, a beautiful boutique hotel with a great atmosphere. We stayed at the huge Marco villa, which can accommodate up to 8 people. It has everything you need and more. Fully equipped kitchen, sitting area, dining table, and rooms with big bathrooms next to each. The private pool was so much fun and the main pool and beach were also perfect, with comfortable beds located all around. Theres no gym, but they make up for it with yoga, pilates, and thai boxing lessons, all for free. The breakfast has a high quality of a variety of breakfast options. The hotel restaurant was one of the best on the island. We already miss it and want to return next summer

It is located directly on the beach, which is known for its calm waves and the possibility of engaging in various activities. The hotel offers a unique experience in terms of interior design. The restaurant and its staff are very friendly and serve delicious food and a special pizza. The beach is cleaned everyday morning.

The pool is relatively small, and swimming in it is not enjoyable as it gets in needy to be cleaned quickly due to falling leaves. Breakfast is not a buffet but rather a menu of options, which is considered good, possibly due to the hotel's small size. The prices of the rooms are relatively high compared to other hotels in Koh Samui.
