We have stayed in this hotel before; we LOVE that it is located just a few blocks from the entrance to Theodore Roosevelt National Park. It is a very comfortable accommodation with above average room size, a decent breakfast offering, and a very nice lobby/sitting area. Wonderful walking area: just a block or two from the hotel I encountered wild deer while out on an evening stroll. Check out my photo.

The bed could have had a thicker top pad to soften it up over the firm mattress. Other than that nit-picking, it is a very nice hotel.

The hotel was in a convenient location, and the hotel staff were friendly. The hotel had a lot of great amenities such has complimentary breakfast, elevator, pool with hot tub, vending machines, etc. Our room was clean and spacious. Overall, we had a great experience and hope to stay again if we visit Medora again.

Due to visiting in the summer time when the Medora Musical and other events were going on, the price for our room was on the high end.

Rooms are clean and there is good space for two people in a double room. It is one block from the main road through town, which makes it quiet, yet an easy walk to the restaurants, shops and other tourist attractions in town. Healthy breakfast options. The facility is well maintained. The indoor pool looks to be an excellent option. Breakfast was included, which was important because we did not see breakfast being served anywhere in town (we were there the week before Memorial Day). In light of the very limited accommodations in Medora, we were pleased with our choice.

This hotel is an older facility. All things considered, it is overpriced because of a lack of other options in a very small town. It is not a higher quality hotel with value that matches the high price per night for two adults traveling without kids who did not use the pool.

Location Cleanliness

Skippy on in room coffee: 1 regular and 1 decaf for 2 people staying 2 nights. It’s nice having that first cup while getting dressed before going to the breakfast room, and not having to fight over who gets the caffeine. Seriously, only cocktail napkins for breakfast meal? Two very small bars of soap - again for 2 people, 2 days.

*Location *Value *Friendly helpful staff & thanks for the restaurant/bar discount card - great food and fun to chat with local folks *Clean *Quiet *Good breakfast - pancakes made for a nice change!

#Insufficient lighting especially at vanity #No outlet for nightlight in the toilet room, and that room had the only bright bulb... #Insufficient electric and data outlets

It was off-season in Medora, so the place wasn't crowded. I was unexpectedly upgraded to a very large, very comfortable suite, which made me wish I'd been able to extend my stay! The staff here couldn't be sweeter, the indoor pool was clean and lovely, and the complementary breakfast featured a pancake printer contraption that was one of the most fascinating things I'd ever seen.

Everything was great, truly.

A great stay over for the Teddy Roosevelt National Park. The fact that I overheard a guest ask and learnt the the pool hot tub jet was not running and another guest that something else was broken did not affect me but two problems at the same time? The struggle of running hotels in small towns. still a good stay..no breakfast but no worries.

Excellent location just minutes outside the South Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Very close to several restaurants and a well-stocked general store.

We had a one-bedroom suite with a door in between bedroom and living area with sofa bed. The doors had large windows and should be solid! We hung bedcovers over the doors to ensure privacy. The lobby area has a serious roofing issue. There was an overnight thunderstorm, and when we came down for breakfast there were towels and buckets all over the lobby area. The staff said there were leaks from the roof; too much beautiful woodwork for this to continue! We did not have any leaks in our room.

Loved the property with the exception of the odors in my room (see below)

There was an overwhelming chemical cleaning agent odor, to the point I had to open windows to breathe, in the morning, that odor had dissipated, but there was an unpleasant odor coming from somewhere, I was unable to figure it out, but I figured that was the reason for the “cleaner” smell the night before

We had a large room, right next to the pool/spa area. It was quiet and convenient. We don't care for air conditioning, especially overnight so were thrilled when we could open the two big windows in our room for fresh air. The spa didn't open til 7 but we were wanting an early start. The manager graciously opened the spa up early so we could get a hot tub session in before we got on the road.

I continue to rail against paper, plastic and styro for breakfast at AmericInn and all hotels in the USA. The mountain of single use waste that goes into one breakfast is unconscionable. We bring our own plates and real silverware but would rather not. There were two staff working the dining area. Surely they could handle the needs of plates and silverware for the guests.
