We spent a wonderful time at this resort. The place it’s definitely worth visiting; the rooms are spacious and clean, the view is stunning. Service is very polite and friendly. They also get a pick up and drop off service from Phuket airport which I definitely recommend. The resort offers numerous activities and excursions (I definitely recommend to go and visit the local communities as well as the hotel mini farm). There is also the possibility to do free yoga and Muay Thai classes. We always had food at the hotel and I have to say that everything was great, including breakfast, lunch and dinner! There is the possibility to commission a personalised woodcraft on site - I definitely recommend to do that! We had a perfect souvenir :)

The hotel has a traditional style, beautiful rooms, and friendly staff.

The compulsory speed boat costs that add up quickly for two people each way and should probably just be included in the price for clearer transparency.

Going to this hotel was one of the best decisions we've ever taken. We really loved it. The view was breathtaking, the room was super comfortable, all the decoration is done with so much taste and attention to detail. The breakfast buffet is amazing, with so many great options for all diets. (Lunch and dinner are less exciting and definitely way too western- not very Thai, leave the hotel if you want thai food!). Their staff works non-stop to make sure your stay is pleasant- they have a huge infrastructure and you always find someone to talk to if you need anything. It's absolutely a magical place and I would 100% recommend it.

The compulsory speedboat could be included in the price because there's no other way to get to the hotel, but you have to pay that separately. Wi-Fi is not so stable so maybe not the best for remote work. You need to get a tuk tuk to travel from hotel area to the reception and it's rather steep. It wasn't a problem for us but it might be if you're a bit older or have mobility issues. Also, they use a LOT of plastic to be an eco-friendly hotel. I think this is something they could truly improve at. Finally, beware that it can get extremely hot in Thailand- so the pools are not really refreshing at all. But this has nothing to do with the hotel- just something to keep in mind.

Everything was great while at the property

The transfers were difficult and no help from the property. I booked a speedboat transfer in advance, only to learn after booking that they claim I will not make it to the speedboat so I had too book another one myself. And that boat did not go directly to the hotel, but to another port from which i needed to take a taxi. On the way to the new port and after passing the hotel original port- they called and ask if they should wait for me. This was upsetting. The hotel did not help or compensate for this

It was so beautiful that we extended our stay for 2 more nights. We took the sea water pool villa and it was so worth it. If you're looking for a holiday thats peaceful and full of tranquility then this is a nice escape from busy phuket. The stuff were really kind and friendly and hospitalible.

Breakfast was the same options everyday and the hot items were always cold unfortunately. I think that there should at least be a free shuttle to the town of Kao Yao as we wanted to get some items from 7eleven and the market. The charge from the hotel for 30 mins was 500 baht. I really believe it should be free.

Incredible location, loads of wildlife to enjoy (we could see sea eagles, hornbills, macaques, so many beautiful fish even without leaving the resort), Buffy (Buffalo) the hotel 4 kitten also a major highlight of the stay. Good breakfast buffet. Food at dinner was nice, though not spectacular, with plenty of veggie options. Rooms were beautiful and well air conditioned. Regular (non-chemical) mosquito fogging was a good touch. Spa facilities were lovely and staff there were exceptional. We stayed at the end of May when the resort was quieter, but all facilities stayed open. Good variety of trips on offer.

For a resort which is trying to be eco-friendly, there are a lot of plastics being used - plastic water bottles in the room and at dinner, lunch on one day trip was served in disposable plastic packing, plastic straws in abundance.

The location was exceptional.

The apartments are on the sidevof a hill. While transport to the rooms is available they only go half way leaving a decent walk to apartments 4, 5 and 6. We were left to work this out ourselves after we checked in. If anyone has a disability or is elderly they would struggle doing this daily. Also the 17% surcharge on all food and drinkks is a bit steep made up of 10% gvverment tax and 7% hotel tax. When ordering off menu the 17% tax is added to give the nett price which is fine but when it comes to paying the bill upon checkout another 7% is recharged. This seems to be double dipping!

Location, facilities, beach massage, jetty seating , reasonable price of food, constant shuttles to take you around the hotel, free beach sports equipment,

No personalized service from staff. For hotel guest they should also arrange airport transfer to the hotel as getting there is quite tricky. I got cheated by the taxi people at the airport where I paid extra for private taxi and they dropped me to a location where boats for the day had left and then they charged me extra to get to another pier. This caused a lot of stress and we were on the verge of missing our last boat for the day. Which meant we would be stranded on some unknown pier for the night till the next morning For new guests arriving complimentary airport transfer is a must that should be provide from the hotel.

The big territory (although quite difficult to walk as these are high hills), very good breakfast, very-very helpful and friendly staff (everybody across the hotel), the fantastic decor (traditional woodstyle) nice beach with great sunset view, no waves even during the rain season, good selection and quality of food in restaurants and room service, quite a few shops, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, travel offices nearby.

Note that bay view studios are mainly in Hotel 7. They are really big and the view is really nice, but the hotel 7 is the most far from the beach and the main pool - it takes time to travel between the room and the beach/ main facilities.

Stunning romantic hotel at a dreamy location. True 5 star quality according to European standards. All details are styled in hard wood and are well-thought of. Loved the amenities of lemongrass in the room and the romantic lightning everywhere. The view is spectacular, definitely book the sea view rooms. It is worth it. Breakfast is generous and complete. Choose this place if you’re looking for tranquility. They entertain you with a fire show on the beach and live music every night, but other than that, this is a place to relax which we think is a unique selling point! Therefore a great recommendation for families with babies! The complimentary baby cot comes with it’s own mosquito net. (tip: tasty and cheap food options in the restaurants nearby in the village) We traveled in rain season, there were plenty of beds on the beach and at the pool to choose from. The cars taking you to the room were wonderful and with a baby, they take you all the way up with a golf cart. We never had to wait. The beach is beautiful, they keep it clean, the water is warm and not too wild for a baby to bathe in. This place offers a getaway with real Thai hospitality with a smile!

Small tip for families with babies. The breakfast area/infinity pool is located in Hotel 5. If you want a room within babyphone range, then ask for a room above this area. WiFi is excellent throughout the hotel, so if your babyphone works on WiFi you will not have this problem. :)
