Virginia was the breakfast manager and she made our trip wonderful. She was very knowledgeable and welcoming, which was a wonderful difference from the rest of France. She made suggestions and gave insight on the area. The room had wonderful Air-conditioning which was missing throughout the rest of Paris. It was so comfortable to come back to a clean, cool, and lovely room each night!

The hotel listed a private airport transport as one of the services included but they were confused when I tried to use it. I showed them where it was listed on their website and they said "that's a mistake. It means we'll book a taxi for you." We paid 70 euro for a taxi. That's a big difference from an included service.

Location was great, although it rained during my entire stay, until the last day when we checked out. Balcony was so nice and felt authentic and gave all the Paris feels. Cute dog bed, blankets, and bowls added to our room before our stay. Helpful bellman brought all of our luggage up to the room while we checked in.

Pet fee, even if service animal 20 Euro per pet/each day. 120 euro shuttle from airport to location, per quote received over the phone day before our arrival. We chose to take an Uber instead for half the price. No bar or restaurant at location, they offer a buffet breakfast, which I can't comment on because we didn't eat there, but it looked like there were other people enjoying it.

The hotel is ideally located, just a short walk from the Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Élysées, making it perfect for exploring the city's main attractions. Despite being in the heart of Paris, the hotel offers a peaceful, intimate atmosphere, which was a welcome retreat after a day of sightseeing. The rooms are beautifully designed with modern touches, while still maintaining a classic Parisian charm. Everything was impeccably clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The attention to detail in the room décor, from the stylish furnishings to the luxurious bathroom, truly made the stay feel special. One of the standout features of Chalgrin Boutique Hotel is the friendly and helpful staff. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was pleasant, offering great recommendations for dining and activities in the area. While the hotel does not have a large restaurant, the breakfast was a delightful surprise. It was a perfect blend of fresh, high-quality products, with a nice variety of pastries, cheeses, fruits, and freshly brewed coffee. It may be smaller than what some larger hotels offer, but the quality easily surpassed most of my previous Paris hotel experiences. In summary, Chalgrin Boutique Hotel is a fantastic choice if you're looking for a stylish, centrally located, and cozy boutique experience in Paris. Highly recommended!

the rooms, though beautifully designed, were quite small, which is common in Paris but may feel a bit cramped if you're staying for an extended period or have a lot of luggage

breakfast was excellent! Virginia was a fantastic host! all the other property staff were very helpful and polite.

Hotel needs to add iron and ironing board for every room, specially for the suites. Wasted a lot of time trying to get an ironing board from the front desk, and they didn’t have any left. Also room decor needs updating.

Good shower pressure. Location was perfect - next arc de triomphe and brasseries for food with Champs d'elysee was a walking distance. It was quiet which helped us rest. Stable wifi. The breakfast was great! The staff were friendly and spoke English well and were very helpful.

The room was small with small closet space but as we learnt that this is the norm in France (space is expensive). No other meal served except breakfast. Had to buy stuff from supermarket in case of hunger pangs at night.

Great location, beautiful building, big and comfy bed, good quality pillows and linens, beautiful window with magical Parisian look. The staff was lovely and discreet. They gave us the room we have asked for (floor and colour of the interior, the view). Absolute legends.

A bit pricey but it is paris after all.

Nothing much to dislike - except €25 for breakfast is too much- enough cafes in the neighborhood- water pressure in the shower a little weak

The receptionist Raquel was very lovely and helped us a lot. Very friendly and professional. It was my birthday and the hotel left a surprise for me in the room, it was a very sweet gift from the staff at the Hotel! The room was clean and big, I will definitely come back here next time and I 100% recommend this Hotel! My fiancé and I had a lovely time here!

cute little boutique rooms that seemed very clean! the reception gentleman in the evening was very kind and gave us a second room key as I wanted to go out alone and my husband alone also. the shower was nice and the breakfast in the morning had a diverse array of assortments that we Indulged in. price was good for the quality, we may even be back one day!!

we found nothing to dislike

Rooms are just the right size, we travelled with our two kids, 12 and 15 we booked two rooms and requested side by side. They were perfect and felt boutique but not over the top and pretentious at all like some boutique hotels can which we have stayed at. Quality was good all round we think and we have stayed at a lot of 4/5star boutiques in Uk London. Very relaxed staff and ALL of them were very helpful from our arrival through to checkout. Quiet area, clean area away from the huddle and bustle. Only about 5 mins max to Argentine metro. Breakfast was perfect, enough options for entire family without being overwhelmed and all staff very courteous and welcoming every morning. Coffee machine was amazing and for someone who has about 10-12 espressos, lattes usually every day with an addictive nature, I had zero complaints! We had room 37 & 38 - August 3rd - 7th 2022 - perfect sizes for a couple. Interiors of each area felt really cosy, French and boutique. We wanted a safe and clean area and it’s exactly that. Thanks to all at Hotel Alain Room Mate… we will definitely see you again next time! ️
