The staff was really great, they allowed me to change rooms because I was so stressed out by the noise in the room I got at check-in (it looked over the main street). Still, I would have liked some help with luggage at arrival and departure, but they are understaffed and do what they can under the circumstances. Everything was very clean, all utilities working, soap, shower gel, and toilet paper dispensers. Shower curtain spotless, the kind of details that make your stay more comfortable. Both rooms I staid in smelled really nice, I really appreciated this. The wi-fi was also working very well (especially given the average quality of the internet in Southern Spain).

The building itself: it's a spanish traditional one needing improvement in isolation, especially door and window proofing - the wind is blowing all over the place with a quite noticeable sound over the night. Unfortunately, the weather was rather bad throughout my stay. Maybe the situation is not that bad when accommodated here for nights with peaceful weather. The TV broadcast service seems to be influenced by the wind or something because I tried to watch programs on several channels, and they kept losing service almost every other minute.

The room was like described. The location was good, next to supermarkets and the bus station but also close to beach. It was possible to store my bicycle inside.

The empty toilet paper didn't get replaced. At times I couldn't reach anyone by phone. It is a bit noisy but okay with earplugs.

A superb stay, amazing staff on front desk, funny guys in the bar and a brilliant location!!!! It’s our new home in Barbate ❤️

They mistakenly took our glasses from the room that we had brought with us but the boys at the bar went through every glass until they found ours 👍👍👍

I liked a lot of things about this hostel. We expected something very basic but it was actually good. The toilet was big, the air conditioning and wifi worked perfectly and the food in the restaurants was delicious. We want to go back just to eat dinner once again in their hostel.

The room, so the space where the bed was is a bit too small, not spacious enough.

Communication with the reception via booking.com and whatsapp was good and I could check in after their office hours (which were till 5.30pm). I received detailed photos 📸 how to receivd the key and where my room was. The location is nice, I thing its at the end of the inner city with several restaurants and 2 big supermarkets closeby. I had a room with toilet which was basic, but ok. As it was on the ground floor, it had iron grating. I was surprised a air condition existed. The hotel also runs a restaurant/breakfast place. Fof the money of34 Euro I spent, i would say the room was ok (although i had a much better quality incl. upgrade in Cadiz for just 3 Euros more)

Some elements as the bedside table which was litterally a wooden board drilled to the wall remembered of teenage youth hostel stays. The warm water took a (long) while to ... be warm. The bed sheets seemed to have been used before. This actually discusts me quite a lot. If I would have noticed that before night, I would have done something about it.

Nice simple room, but nothing extra.
