This hotel is a little dated but the staff was friendly and the two rooms we booked were clean. It wasn’t really walkable to anywhere but Walmart so location wasn’t the best. Plus, for being a basic hotel, it was by far the most expensive place we stayed in 11 days of travel through BC and Alberta and that included Vancouver and Edmonton. I was surprised by the price but looking at other prices in Salmon Arm it was comparable.

Before we arrived, I received the same email 4 times making sure we had no pets even though we made that clear when booking.

For an older building it was in excellent condition, very clean, comfortable. Recommended by a friend, definitely recommend this to anyone travelling through.

Although there was a very good (food was great) Vietnamese restaurant right next door. it was the only choice for a meal due to the distance to other food places. OK if you are in a single vehicle but we were towing a large trailer. However, there is a new shopping center development within a 2 minute walk that will be great when opened.

Toiletries were great, especially the soap. Great to have a fridge microwave and coffee maker. It was as expected.

It’s the biggest thing that bothered me was the scratches on the door. It felt a little unnerving, and it would be great to have coated with some black paint. Coffee maker instructions could’ve been a little more explicit in terms of really putting the lid down tight in order to brew coffee. Otherwise, the coffee was good.

Nice location. Easy checkin. Good breakfast for an early rise drive to our next location. Had cereal, tea, muffins, toast etc. Staff were very friendly and efficient.

Room had a piece of garbage on the floor. It could have been very easily just been missed but was not a great first impression. Everything else was up to standard so an enjoyable stay overall.

The staff was very good...we had bought some meat products that had to be in the fridge and they were happy to put it away for us since our room had no fridge with a freezer compartment. Also appreciated that when we returned to our room the bed had been made and any garbage taken out.

Swimming pool was nice and warm you never get that at a hotel, that’s so nice when coming in from outside. Hotel was one of the cleanest hotels I have ever been in and they actually come clean rooms everyday. You never see that in a hotel since covid. Beds are firm but very comfortable

Breakfast was the only disappointment. No nutritional value whatsoever all carbs and very bland needs to be open till 10am people like to sleep in sometimes when they are in hotel

Very clean room and an adequate breakfast. We didn’t use the indoor pool but it looked clean and the room was sunny and bright.

The room was exceptionally clean but somewhat dated. We were surprised by the price for a basic room but that’s perhaps the difference between rooms in BC and rooms in SK.

The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was small but it was nice to have the sink outside. Very quiet too. Breakfast was adequate.

Wish the window could have opened as the room was very hot. The A/C unit did not run cold. As I said above, the room was uncomfortably warm.

They did clean the floor after I mentioned sending the photos to Wyndham, breakfast was ok. Air conditioner worked fantastic. Beds comfortable, well made. Towels clean. Shower effective.

The floor in 105 hadn't been cleaned. When I spilled something the white towels came up deep dark brown, it wasn't a brown drink. Even the second wipe was gross

Easy to get to, not loud even though it is close to the highway, pool was pretty good. Breakfast was good, lots of selection for the size of the place

Breakfast room was small but it is a small hotel and didnt bother us. however we have 3 kids so i can see how kid haters would be bothered being so close to them. Nothing really we didnt like.
