the rooms have been re done with nice floors and bedding, the staff was super nice. This hotel is cheaper then others so I wasn't too concerned at the small breakfast options (still had waffles though!) and a little problem with the toilet.

I hesitate to say this but it might be a big deal to some people, there was only one bar of soap for the sink and the shower. I think the owners might be kind of new, so if they could just give two bars that'd be great!

Room was great same with the shower! Hot water right away makes it even better. staff is always great to us. Didn't have breakfast this time but normally it's good.

Side door to the right of building does not lock anymore no key needed. Not a big deal to me but can be for others. Also broken window at the bottom of the steps same side. Stairs need to be cleaned

No carpet, so all floors are cleaned with bleach daily. The staff were friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff saw I was quite burdened with suitcase, backpack, several bags of recent purchases, and my dinner. She offered help. She offered to help each time when I arrived hands full of purchases. The bed was comfy. The temperature control kept me just right. Neither too warm, too cold, and it quickly adjusted the room temperature when I wanted a bit more heat or cooling.

The east door card reader needed adjustment as I had to scan my card numerous times before the door unlocked.

Nothing fancy, but clean and good quality for the price. The facilities are very Spartan, but that's what you're paying for. A big plus from me for not having carpeted floors. My asthma appreciated that.

The options for Breakfast were a little weak. Fresh fruit and protein is what I usually look for. The fruit selection was 2 bananas and the protein selection was yogurt.

It’s a good value property. Nothing fancy. We needed a place to crash on a road trip. Bed was clean, sheets were decent and not the kind that’s left over from the 1960s you get in motels a lot. Staff was friendly.

No elevator, so if you can’t carry your stuff to the second floor, make sure you ask for a room on the first floor.

When we got there the young gentleman at the desk was very nice and helpful and very patient when we got into our room it's easy very inviting clean and comfortable and the beds where amazing

I am currently a client of the Hilltop Latimer house trying to be in safety with my little ones the older gentleman in the morning was informed that it would be a little after 11 in order to receive my envelope money to cover the cost of the room he was extremely impatient and started pounding on our door before check out time being very rood and unprofessional

Evening and morning staff very helpful. Comfortable room. Room heating worked well. Easy access to interstate. The bag breakfast was adequate, but not what I normally choose at hotels.

A couple of long hairs on bathroom floor. Room phone had no cord…I had to use my cell phone to contact the front desk: Was awakened at 5 a.m. by someone making bashing noises every few minutes over a 30-min period…called front desk and found out it was staff making the noises (trying to fix something?). they stopped, but by then I couldn’t get back to sleep. what on earth were they thinking? I had a long drive ahead of me and did not appreciate this.

This was a clean and comfortable hotel for a great price. Beds were good, easy access to interstate and downtown Grand Junction. Restaurants nearby. Staff friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was about as good as could be expected given that it had to be a cold, bagged breakfast. Location was really convenient to the interstate; easy to find; quiet. Except for the microwave, it was also very clean.

Apparently the staff forgot to check the microwave after the previous room occupants left. It still had food in it. Since we didn't want to make oatmeal for breakfast, it wasn't really an inconvenience. We just reported the problem to the front desk when we checked out.
