We booked one night and ended up staying two. Beautiful hotel! I read some of the other reviews from a few years ago, and obviously this place has improved. The staff were fantastic and the place is fabulous. The restaurant was nice (for a change from tagine!) and french influenced. The deluxe room was comfy, with a terrace and a waterfall view. Towels plush, linens top notch, clean room, two infinity pools with amazing views…we decided to skip a drive to Essaouira, and stay here a second night. It is the only high end hotel in this tiny tourist attraction town.

His great location let me have a great and splendid sights of the Cascade of Ouzoud, the mountains, and the wonderful landscaping all around. As well I did have a total relaxation into his exterior swimming pools on all level floors. His architecture in every spot was unforgettable, which allowed me to take hundreds of photos inside and outside as a great souvenir. The excellent customer service with their nice smiles made me already miss my staying 😢 Whatever I describe this hotel, it will never be enough. Thank you for all the stuff. The overall beauty of the Borj is completely unmatched! The best place for a relaxing setting with absolutely gorgeous views. The staff were very attentive and friendly, it made me never want to leave the grounds! I enjoyed the Borj by myself, but it’s ideal for a couples trip, bachelorette party, and honestly the whole venue would be perfect for an entire wedding—it’s THAT beautiful! The food was authentic, plentiful, and delicious! I would 100% go back to this establishment.

It’s kinda far, but the end goal is totally worth it! They have a driver to take you to and from the airport.

This is one of the best hotels you can find in Morocco! The location can not be better -- on the top of the canyon, opposite to waterfalls. There are two pools, and many chairs or coaches at different hotel levels from where you can overlook waterfalls and surroundings. Rooms are spacious, and everything in the hotel is very nicely decorated. The territory is like a green oasis. Monkey family is visiting the hotel garden, and we had a unique possibility to see young monkeys playing with each other and even trying the pool! The hotel restaurant serves excellent breakfast, and provide a good evening dinner menu as well. We enjoyed every minute and did not want to leave from here!

The most thing I like is the view panoramic you can see the sunrise and the waterfall and of course the position of the hotel and the all crews on the hotel

The location of this property is 👌. It is a few minute walk down to the falls and it is definitely the nicest hotel in the area. The hotel was way bigger than I had anticipated (perfect if coming here with lots of family members or a group) and the views are breath-taking. There are two pools (one on the roof and one a few levels below - both overlooking the falls) and both offered amazing views and lots of beautiful areas to lounge and relax. The inside of the hotel was just as nice as the outside - beautifully decorated with lots of detail and a very (upscale) Moroccan feel. The food was great - I read some reviews about the food not being the best but I thoroughly enjoyed every course of my meal. The employees were friendly and more than willing to help and answer any questions we had. If you want to eat locally, there is a little town you walk through on the way down to the falls with plenty of restaurants to choose from - but again, I did enjoy the food at the hotel. Overall, this was one of my favorite places we stayed while in Morocco. We would return in a heartbeat.

Beautiful hotel in an excellent location to visit the falls and hike through the valley around Ouzoud. If you're thinking about a day trip from Marrakech, reconsider spending a few nights here to soak up the luxury of the roof top massive pool after doing guided walks through the valley. The rooms are spacious, clean and the beds very comfortable. Air conditioning means you have a good break from the heat. However, there is also plenty of space to sit in the shade next two the two beautiful pools.

absolutely beautiful location. the building is stunning, you feel the lines blurring between outside and inside with huge terraces, beautiful gardens and of course the sound of the waterfalls. the pools look amazing though we didn’t use them as it was too cold. by far the very best thing about the borj are the fantastic staff. we were part working, part on holiday and they noticed we weren’t stopping for lunch - so brought us salads and nibbles, coffee and water to the terrace. they couldn’t do enough for us and we felt like part of the family after a couple of day. we were there for a whole week and would definitely have stayed longer had all the facilities been open (we were very much off-season and so were expecting the hammam and restaurants to be limited).

we were working Monday-Wednesday and the internet was pretty intermittent - definitely not enough bandwidth for video calls. so next time we will make sure we are purely on holiday! the trip takes about 3 hours from the airport along narrow and winding roads through the mountains - make sure it’s a safe car in case it rains!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We asked in advance if the spa is working, but sadly it wasn't, as a compensation we got room upgrade, free 2,5 hiking trip and late check-out. The hike was really nice and we learned a lot from the guide. The breakfast could be a bit better, but we got an omelette when we asked for it, so that saved it.

It seems like a very luxurious hotel on the pictures and it does have a lot of potential, sadly the spa is not working , the pools are not heated and the rooms don't seem to be fully finished (doors i. the room were full of scratches, the walls/floors in the bathroom seems unfinished. Considering it's a brand new hotel, it should have smart tv, that allows to watch netflix etc. Also the AC wasn't working properly, so it was cold at night.

Too pricey Rooms are dated and not very comfortable Only 2 small bottles of water are given in the room , once during the entire stay, at check-in. The manager was kind enough to give us more water on the second day. However, for the price of the room, it should be standard to give as much water as ehat the guest require, or at the very minimum, 2 bottles every day.
