1. The staff were fabulous and friendly from the minute we arrived till we departed. Not a single long face. They were all smiles and very service oriented 2. Great ocien view. The beach is literally at your doorstep, and most rooms have a great view. 3. The food and variety are above average, but after about 2 days, you might want to venture out. 4. Great pool with a connected baby pool.

Facilities like bathroom showers and toilet seats are a bit old and rusted in some places. Could do with a revamp. There is not much variety with the t.v channels, too.

We got upgraded to a room with a balcony which was great although the other room we booked appeared nice as well. The pool was nice (two of them). We were there when it was very quiet out of season so very relaxing and no issues with sunbeds etc. We ate at the restaurant 2 out of 3 nights, the meals/staff were very good. Location was right on the main road in the middle of town so a short walk anywhere and easy access to the beach.

Nothing really. The fence/wall next to our balcony collapsed whilst the gardener was walking plants next to it but these things happen.

The location was perfect. Property is adjacent to the famous Hikkaduwa beach which is very clean and nice. Walking distance to famous turtle beach. Pool is clean and well maintained. Food was delicious and the staff was friendly.

Room facilities should be improved a bit. Single doormat was provided. But additional one or two will be useful since we go outsite to the beach time to time. No tissue box was provided.

The staff are out of this world Friendly, efficient and cannot do enough for you. The location is fabulous. Right on the beach. Rooms are clean and well appointed. Lovely pools and sunbeds, a perfect beach location. Plenty of restaurants nearby if you wanted to venture out and about

If I had to be picky.. having to get up at 6sm to get a nice sunbed was not great, okay for me as I’m an early riser. There are signs saying not to reserve beds but at 7am all beds are reserved

everything was perfect. I am so happy we went with Coral sands over all of the other options that were available because it really did exceed our expectations. First and foremost, the staff is extremely friendly and really go above and beyond for their customers. They put all other establishments to shame including ones in Canada. The rooms were clean, everything worked as it should, the water was hot, the beds were comfy, the place was clean, hallways clean, etc. Views from room were beautiful also. Damikka and the other staff in the dining area were SO kind. I have two girls (1.5 and 3.5 years old) and they were so attentive, playful and welcoming towards my children. My younger dautghter made a mess n the dining area each day and they were so good about it. They even offered to bring my omelette to try table for me os I didnt have to stand and wait in line. The pool is very very clean. I would 100% return. I honestly would rate it 10/10 however there were 2 things that I felt could use some improvement and its this:

The food. While it was buffet style and there were many options, it didn't feel like the food was over the top amazing. It was just fine. There wasn't enough variety and I feel that it can be improved in both taste and options. Entertainment- There was live music during dinner which was nice but beyond that were wasn't much to see in terms of entertainment. Also, if they had lifejackets for children it would be more enjoyable for parents so that they can be at ease in the pool.

Coral Sands Hotel was a fantastic place to stay! The location is great and right on the beach with stunning ocean views and within walking distance to great bars and restaurants. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable and cleaned everyday. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay.

room was not luxury first floor as we booked. we had to change room once within the week we were there beach is fine in front of hotel pool really good and clean

they charged us 40 euro more than booking com has stated on the paper. drinks are expensive in the restaurant but can also get table water free of charge

Good Location, Beach. Good spread of food. Pools are clean and good. Not extremely busy. Relaxed.

Improve clean. May to repair some floors, ware and tear spaces. Improve parking. Need few more shower spots for pools.

Beautiful location overlooking the ocean, property was very clean and staff very friendly.

Little outdated in rooms, safe didn’t work. But still kept very clean and basic necessities were available

The location was excellent close to Resturant and attractions

Nothing only it would be better if they could put a fan in the room balcony/terrace so it becomes a bearable to sit outside and enjoy the view.
