The property was beautiful, newly built but in a traditional stone design. It had great facilities including a spa bath and hot tub. The views from the terrace were stunning. The rooms are on a hill overlooking Nafplio, which is great as you have amazing views. The only downside, which we already knew about, is that it’s a thirty minute walk into town which is fine, but a steep climb back up. Having said that it’s an easy drive and if you choose to walk in for dinner, there are plenty of taxis to take you back again.

Very small thing, we had a family with four very young children staying next to us, the kids were so loud that the soundproofing couldn’t cope. Not actually the property’s fault, but worth noting just in case this is something that bothers you. This wouldn’t put us off coming again though.

Classic and beautiful stone dwellings with wonderful porticos on a hillside spaced apart in an olive/ orange orchard with wonderful views. The location is perfect, beautiful beach 8 minutes in one direction, Napfilio harbor 5 minutes in the other. Exceptional service. Though close to town, it would be a hike up the hill from town. I love Napflio’s old town, but am glad I didn’t stay there because of the noisy and constant beat of night life and an occasional wafting sewage smell on some of the charming streets.

I would have to be very picky (and I am) to find something I didn’t like.

Lovely apartment with great views. Comfortable and well equipped. Staff very helpful and pleasant. The edge of town location near the castle entrance is great but you’ll really need a car or taxi to get to the centre in reasonable time and to stock up on essentials. Car parking is good.

The bathroom was pleasant but the shower hose leaked. It was replaced promptly when we alerted the staff but there was still a small leak. Nothing to worry about. The power tripped out three times during our stay, but we were able to restore it at the fuse box. An electrician was called in by the staff the same day, which was impressive.

Superbly located apartments located on a hill east of Napflio with fantastic views down to the bay, up to Palamidi castle and over the countryside. Each building is very isolated from the others, surrounded by trees (orange, olive, cypress etc.) making our stay very 'green' and private. The buildings near metre thick stone walls helped keep the place cool and quiet, the rooms were all well maintained and the daily visit from the staff kept everything clean and well stocked. The property is just beyond the edge of Napflio so it has all the benefits of being in out of the urban buzz but it is literally a 3 minute drive to the harbour with all its shops, cafes and restaurants etc.

Can't really think of anything that was a problem or that we didn't like.

This is a quiet nature retreat overlooking Nafplio. Lovely clean air, olive trees, amazing view from our second floor unit, including a view of the Venetian castle. We ended up eating in, just to take advantage of the balcony. It was warm on chilly nights, and cool in the sun. Nice jacuzzi tub, very aesthetically pleasing renovation and furnishing all around. I loved the young owner and the pride he took in his establishment (he inherited the property from his great grandfather). Close to multiple archaeological attractions.

No dishwasher - but to our surprise the staff washed our dishes, so it was ok. Just wish I knew whether this was included or not, so as not to wash ourselves. You will need a car, unless you plan to just relax at the property.

If you’re travelling to Nafplio by car, stay here!!! What a gorgeous spot out in the country. By car, minutes from Nafplio, minutes from the top parking lot of Palamidi Fortress, minutes from beaches, minutes from the “old town” and the walking path around the Old Fort. The owner, and the young lady assisting with checkin, were gracious and helpful with local information. After a long day of driving and sightseeing we wanted to relax. The receptionist arranged the ordering of a pizza for us which was delivered right to our door. The architecture of the accommodations is quite unique for fairly new buildings, complete with stone ceilings. Check Klymeni on Google images. Spot on. The views from our personal sitting area, or elsewhere on the grounds, were stunning. They don’t serve breakfast. Three or four minute drive (with zero morning traffic) and we were at a local bakery with good coffee and the biggest (and tasty) croissant I’d ever seen. Planning to travel to Nafplio. For gorgeous views, lovely, clean accommodations, quiet country setting and friendly hosts, I highly recommend Klymeni.

I liked the spacious room, the tidiness and cleanliness, the hosts' friendly and professional behaviour, the fact that they provided everything you need for a comfortable stay like home and therefore not to bother where to find it or to carry it with you from home (like for example: kitchen towels, a pot to make greek coffee, a washbowl for clothes and all this kind of useful staff). The environment is quite relaxing because Klymeni is located outside Nafplio's noisy centre. It is only 5 min. by car to city's centre and Karathona and Arvanitia beaches. Highly recommended for families. We'll definitely come back! Congratulations Vasilis and Alexandros!

I can't think of something I didn't like.

The place is beautiful! The interior is traditional and "retro" but very well maintained, great view from the balcony, friendly staff.. we stayed for two nights and regret not staying a few more nights

It was a bit hard to find the first time, but after a few minutes we found the place and our stay was perfect

Divine location - for exploring the area, close to Nafplio itself (we walked to town as well as the Palamidi during the day but easy to go by car and park for an evening meal) and a peaceful retreat when you wanted to just enjoy the surrounds and a night in. Wonderful views from the terrace. Thoroughly recommend and perfect for longer stays rather than trying to stay in the town itself. Loved it!

Everything!! Booking.coms address was incorrect. The gentleman at the front desk drove to the main road to meet us in the rain to make sure we found the place ok. They were so friendly and accommodating. They had some great recommendations. Our room...I wish it was something we could own. It was the perfect size for us. The amenities, the cleanliness, the comfort, the balcony and the view!! I cannot say enough good things about this place. Yes all day long. A must stay. Easy drive to the castle, beach, and town. I can't wait to come back some day. It's the perfect relaxation point.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike about this place.
