This is a small but excellent hotel with amazing food. If you love wine, the selection here is extensive and of a high quality. The staff are very attentive, with excellent English should french not be your strong point. Good location, a short walk to the harbour.

The only, even slightly, negative thing I could say is watch out for the parking. Thursday is market day and you could be blocked in. I'd suggest you stay an additional night just in case and leave on Friday! 😇

The hotel was exceptional- a beautiful, spacious room with a supremely comfortable and massive bed. The dining room was a tribute to French cuisine, served in the most professional manner. The continental breakfast was delightful. The location was great, 5 mins from the busy N165. A ten minute walk down to the port or the old town (a little longer coming back up!) took in the old town square, with nice restaurant and friendly galleries.

We had a stunning room which was large with a large bathroom containing a vintage bath plus a hall area. Everything was spotlessly clean. The communal areas were very pleasant too.

Breakfast was pricy for only bread, croissants and plain yoghurt Personally I did not like having no door on the bathroom. (The toilet was separate 😮‍💨)

Loved the bar, dining room & bedroom…full of charm & character. The food is absolutely incredible, a real treat, not something we’d be used to….had dinner & breakfast at property … SUBERB.

We slept really well as we retired late, bar next door music/chat a little loud till midnight so maybe if you like an early night something to consider. It didn’t bother us.

A very pleasant stay. The room was comfortable and spacious. The food was excellent, it's worth reminding though that this is fine dining not country portions🙂

Strangely in the bathroom there was no shower curtain therefore we had to take the shower head down from its height and sit in the bath to use it or if we'd used it as intended water would have gone everywhere and this was not a wet-room en-suite

This is not the first time we have stayed here. We return because we like the rooms and the restaurant is excellent. The menu, whilst not extensive, is interesting and inventive and uses local produce wherever possible. On the other hand the wine list is extensive and I needed help, which was readily available, to choose a suitable bottle.

The shower was an attachment over the bath. No problem with that if the hotel doesn't mind a minor flood because there was no shower curtain!

Extremely comfortable and lovely inn. Our spacious bathroom had a clawfoot tub looking out to beautiful views through a large window. Beds were very comfortable and room was quiet. Warm and welcoming host helped us navigate stairs with luggage. The town is beautiful to explore. Wish I could have stayed longer!

The food was of excellent quality. The hotel was easy to find and public parking was available outside the door. There was a lift. It was a short walk to the old town and port but beware it is uphill on the way back!

Pre-ordering the breakfast the night before although I appreciate that this prevents waste.

This is a lovely traditional, owner operated, hotel with an excellent restaurant. The room was very spacious and comfortable with a large bathroom. The quality of service in the restaurant was excellent also.

Some WD40 on the squeaky toilet door would be good!

An attractive building, easily located with parking outside. A very friendly welcome. A lift to the 1st Floor.

First: The highly recommended restaurant was closed on both days of our stay. This was not clear in the advance information. Second: the shower in the bath without constraining curtain or panel lead to water splash on the floor which might be dangerous.
