The beds were very comfortable. Loved the table by the window and the comfy chairs. The continental breakfast was the perfect way to start another long day of travel. The shower was good. Water was a good stream and liked the ability to get it to the temperature I preferred. Check and out was easy. It was a great rest stop after a nine hour drive.

I think the only thing I had any issue with was the shower head. Due to my short stature, I am only 4ft 11", I was unable to reach the shower head.

Woman at desk very kind and professional. My room was directly adjacent to the parking for my car so it was easy for me to move my things into the room. I had requested this and was very pleased to get it.

The air conditioner worked well but at night I closed the black out drapes and they covered the air flow from the air conditioner. With a little creative rearranging I was able to get some air flow through to the room. A hook or something to catch the drape at a height equal to the top of the air conditioner might work.

A trouble maker with nothing better to do as a hotel customer called a cop after I put our dog in the car before breakfast and leaving to continue our journey, who saw nothing was wrong, it was shocking, the hotel staff were equally shocked and disgusted. Why book themselves into a dog welcomung hotel if they hate dogs so much, we didn't complain at the noise they made late on coming the night before though!

The location was very accessible, just off the Trans-Canada Highway. The check-in process was easy, completed in about five minutes. The room was clean, the bed soft, and I was out like a light very quickly. I opted for a room that was accessible from street level, and had I had a car with me, was able to park directly outside the room (I was on a motorcycle, which the staff offered to have me park outside their office so they could watch it better for me).

My only complaint was the amount of time I got to spend there. I didn't arrive until about 1am, and had an 11am checkout. Ultimately that is on me though, since my original plan had me arriving around 8pm. As they say, even the best made plans sometimes do not survive first contact.

The staff were great and very friendly. The pool was great after a long day in the car! Rooms were spacious and comfortable for the two of us.

There was nowhere to purchase cold drinks in the area- a vending machine for drinks would have been great! The pool had a lot of kids doing flips and horsing around, which took away from the experience. Price was a little high for the facilities.

Everything. The bed was great, the staff was able to change my reservation to a pet friendly room, which is what I wanted in the first place, but booking.com didn’t give me. They were also willing to change the night of reservation, because my friend that I was visiting got sick.

They need to get new couches in the room, the springs are gone this one.

The location was great. Right off the highway but extremely quiet.

We seemed to be put in an area of rooms that all had dogs. We ended up being woken up in the morning by barking dogs and people taking theirs dogs outside. There should be a separate area of the hotel for people traveling with animals.

Check-in/Evening Desk Person didn't seem really that interested in us. Always on phone or computer. Just had that "couldn't be bothered"attitude. Had originally requested ground floor room(we're 80 yo). We got it but an interior entry room which necessitated carrying luggage through reception, down a hall full length of establishment to our room. There appeared to be large number of ground floor rooms with exterior entry that were not booked that night that were not offered at check-in. Morning receptionist seemed much more interested in being in the hospitality industry.

We arrived 15 min. before breakfast closing, and the server acted a bit brusquely, diminishing our otherwise excellent experience. We had come from Quebec and were an hour “behind” due to time zone change. Would have been helpful to be reminded at check-in of the time zone change, so that we could have planned to arrive earlier for breakfast.
