The hotel is so bright and clean. Love the reception & waiting area. Excellent on the free drinks / alcohol/ snacks services at the lounge area for guests to chill and relax from 1pm till 9pm. Staff at the hotel are very helpful and polite. Eventhou is not very near to metro / train station but there is a supermarket just below the hotel and another 24hr supermarket just 20 steps away. Family mart and MOS burger just opposite the hotel as well. 15 - 20 mins walk to Nishiki market and Daimaru, which we think is very convenient. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and we will come back to stay here when we visit kyoto again. Thank you

We like it because the hotel is very cozy modern style, very clean, convenient location, room is spacious and they serve excellent breakfast.

Housekeeping was not on time. If we did not request it, they will not do the cleaning on a daily regular basis. Some staff are not english speaking.

Not the best of location as it’s 2-3 stops from Kyoto main station and downtown is 15 mins walk. But I understood all these when deciding on which hotel to stay. So no concerns in this aspect

I like the ease of checking in. Breakfast has a decent selection of items.

The sound from the vehicles outside, the connection of the Tv did not work during my stay even though I have asked the staff to check on it.

Nice, larger rooms—especially compared to typical Japanese sized rooms. Happy hour was a nice surprise.

Odd check in procedure. It wasn’t your standard desk and they made you juggle through all your bags to find what they wanted. They then made us sit at a table and redo the entire process. Took about 15 minutes before we were given the key to our room. Large king bed was actually two double beds pushed together. Not exactly nice for a couple to be close. Standard hard Japanese mattress.

The room was huge for Japan standard and the beds super comfortable. We stayed our our 8 month old baby and the extra spaces made the difference. The design of the room gives extra privacy between bathroom and bedroom. The hotel is beautiful, the staff were very kind and friendly, it provides free drinks in the afternoon, well equipped laundry room with nice machines. Location is great! The design and decoration of the hotel makes you feel so good to be back after a long day out.

This was one of my favorite places we stayed on our recent trip. Would definitely stay here again. They have multiple washing machines on one floor which was SO great. Beds were comfy. And the breakfast buffet - though not cheap - was very very high quality. So at least you get what you pay for! Other hotels we paid the same or less and got very stale food. The food was excellent. Realy dug this place. And the Life market downstairs was the best grocery store we visited the entire trip. Just so so good.

I have a high level of dust allergy but the rooms were extremely clean. The bed was very comfortable and it was great to have a bathtub in the room. They placed products we might need such as shower gel, shampoo, and toothbrush in front of the elevators, which made my stay at the hotel much easier. It is also great that there is a huge market under the hotel.

It would be better if the employees knew at least basic English. Most of the guests are foreigners and I often had difficulty communicating with the staff.

The staff were very professional, polite and very helpful. I really enjoyed the happy hour that the hotel offered as it was a great way to unwind after a full day of sightseeing before having dinner. The location was very handy, ideally located to the bus stop, train stations and within walking distances to the shops. Having a laundromat in the hotel was very convenient and to be able to see the status of the washing machines on the TV in your room was fantastic!

I had a pleasant surprise upon entering the hotel, located on level 2 of a nondescript area. The hotel's beautiful design blended traditional Japanese elements, including a delicious breakfast. The rooms featured high-tech amenities, such as in-room laundry monitoring. While a short walk to the MRT station was required, it wasn't inconvenient. The separate toilet was an added bonus. Overall, my stay was enjoyable.
