The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful if they tried. The service was always cheerful, they accommodated the endless special requests you have when travelling with kids like different meal combinations, they gave us lifts to shops on the island to get supplies, and always stopped to talk to our 2 year old which is a nice gesture. The food was really good quality, varied and not overpriced like it can be in resorts. The restaurant has a great view of the water and is a lovely place to sit and enjoy happy hour or food. The swimming pool was great and really clean, and some apartments have mini plunge pools on the roof and that was such a great spot to sit and watch the view. Everything was very clean and apartments cleaned daily.

The only slight downside is that the resort is on the quiet side of the island - mostly this is good but if you don’t have own transport (motorbike, car etc) it’s a bit of a faff to get around to the shops on other side. However we were lucky and got lifts from staff all/ part of the way several times which made it much easier.

This resort is very tranquil, beautifully landscaped and made really great by the staff’s friendliness and helpfulness. I also have to mention their kitchen - every dish was delicious and authentic regardless of whether Thai or Western, so there was no need to go out searching for outside restaurants. Free use of kayaks and paddle boards a welcome bonus. The resort bungalows are very comfortable and well kitted out. The staff can arrange bike or car hire, boat trips, snorkelling trips etc. great base to explore the island.

Wow! Where to start! Without bragging I've been to a fair few places, for work and pleasure. I don't think I've ever stayed anywhere that's been more pleasurable than Serenity! We are a family, and are traveling through Thailand. We arrived at Serenity, and were immediately treated as though we were family! From the way Louie (?) met us and showed us our villa, to the way ALL the staff made us feel welcome, it was like coming home! The place is paradise. Beautiful. The rooms and the facilities are wonderful. The food.... It's amazing! They made everything so easy. The owner lent us his car, just handed us the keys and off we went. The location was quiet and beautiful. The beds were fabulous! Everything was perfect! We will be back.

The beach front rooms we got were right in front of the beach, which was nice and the resort wasn't big so it felt peaceful. Free kayaks and sup boards available at the beach.

- One of the bathrooms was clogged. Though the staff tried to fix it, it doesn't seem to help. - 500 thb extra bed/night was actually the convertible sofa in the room itself. It wasn't that comfortable.

The pool was great, and the villa was very comfortable and well appointed. The seating and jacuzzi on the roof was a really great touch!

The location might not be for everyone. It was away from many of the more tourist oriented places on the island. That said, the location provides a good way to explore both sides of Koh Chang more easily

We would like to stay at a calm place, and this hotel was just what we wanted. The best thing was the staff. They made us ferl really comfortable and special :) Also the dishes that we ate here was more than we expected. If we come back again to Ko Chang, we will choose to stay here. Thank you very much for the great hospitality.

Nothing. If you need some activities in the evening, there’s nothing around here. And we reccommend to come here by own car ( or a rental car). If you have a vhicle of your own, there’s nothing bad to stay here.

Lovely peaceful place, very child-friendly

Getting anywhere else was a bit of a hassle; sometimes we were lucky enough to get a ride from the owners but getting a cab is pricey and you have to plan/ anticipate. Furthermore the island is very hilly and so car drives tested our stomachs, especially if for instance you want to go the snorkel spots in the south west, it is more than 1 hour drive.

Stunning location, quiet and familiar size. Staff was super friendly. Good restaurant and a couple of nice local places around.

The plunge pool wasn't as nice as we had hoped it to be. Due to it not being heated it wasn't really possible to use it at night time and during the day the sea and pool area are nicer.

the resort is located outside the town so you can relax to the max! no direct bars or shops.
