Location is central… the first rooms we stayed in is a bit rundown… badly needs upgrade esp bathroom… but we were happy that they were able to move us in a smaller but way better rooms….but I think the best asset for Almont is their staff… everybody’s super friendly and accomodating… they will really do everything they can to make your stay a memorable one… attention management… it’s very rare to have staff who are dedicated and honest … please treasure and compensate them generously!!!!!

Just the 1st 2 rooms we stayed in… really needs upgrade.

very easy check-in and -out; friendly staff (at lobby; at restaurant some are less active; at the pool no poolstaf brought me a towel, just asked my room nr and vanished - crazy); pool: very clean and beautiful (for now the kidddiespool is under renovation, only the main pool available; room: very good wifi, TV and shower; bad: no umbrellas (in case of rain), too many mosquitos inside the room (which was at lakeside); beds too soft, same pillows. breakfast was very ok, also good dining at room. Value for money was ok (ca USD 40.- a day incl breakfast); I still love this hotel & will come back next year.

The property is peaceful and serene despite it located in the middle of the city. The greenery in and around the property gives the guests a perfect get away to unwind and relax. It is place where guests are able to to breathe, smile, and live again to appreciate the beauty of nature. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. They really let you feel at home and one with the family.

I hope they could provide an airconditioned dining area especially during summer…

We love our room near the pond. Away from the pool noise, as we are day sleeper, thank goodness. Nice resort for a family, buffet food is average, staff we're quite nice especially Jeff and Rashid at the restaurant and SG Yoson. Definitely recommend this resort to our Australian family and friends. Thank you to Kath at the Front Desk for accommodating us from checking in and out.

Our stay was almost perfect, except we had an issue with shower floor area constantly flooding when you take a bath. Hence, the damage Cabinetry below the vanity. The cable box or the remote was slow to respond when trying to navigate, battery issue perhaps.

I like the family atmosphere of the place especially the staff who attend to us @ Dining area name Jeef & the front luggage helper can't remember his name though. Love the food & services.

The only thing I can say one thing I wasn't satisfied is I have booked 2 rooms 1 family room at 016 & I stayed at the single rooms 038 near the laudry housekeeping department & I noticed that there was so many mosquitoes hovering up front of my rooms & their was a staff that day & I mentioned to her regarding the issue & I requested to have it spray a mosquitoes repellent, she stay she will inform the staff but never saw anyone stop by my rooms to take care of the problems. Otherwise I will give it 5 star

Breakfast Buffet was Great. The restaurant Captain always went above and beyond his call of duty to take care of us. The swimming pool was always very clean and kept up.

The evening aerobics class music was extremely loud. The traffic in Butuan is nerve racking.

Liked everything in the breakfast buffet. Variety per day is appreciated.

What's not to like? I didn't find mangoes in the buffet, but it's probably off season. Water pressure is a little bit low in our suite in the mornings. So, we took showers in the evening.

The breakfast was ok. The staffs are very friendly and give a very good service. The rooms are clean..

There was no towel in the room went we arrived, we had to call tye room service to get some. There was no coffee sachet in the room. No orange juice in the breakfast buffet, we had to order. Hope they will fix that for my next stay.

as the place was in the city you would never know it feels as it says a resort on its own with the tropical weather

no power shower but guess like a lot of asia places water pressure a problem

By far the nicest place to stay in butuan. They sent there van to pick me up from the airport and after 3 days of travel it was really nice. The staff are very helpfull and nice. Our large new suite room was great from the large cr with a huge bathtube to the big balcony over looking the pool it really felt like home. My 5 year old son had so much fun in the pool and play ground.

Only that we had to leave after our 3 day stay.
