Beautiful place. Amazing golf course.

Food is hard to find. Hotel needs to realize that visitors traveled 9000 miles. Visitors are hungry. It would have helped a great deal if hotel staff made it very clear — Fontanals restaurant closes at 4:00 and you cannot eat here after that. And hotel staff should be very knowledgeable on restaurants, exactly what down they are in, hours open, and days open. We drove town to town looking for food, down very narrow streets, in pouring rain. Hotel staff needs office help so they can help people.

Very friendly front of house staff, beautiful golf course, very clean and comfortable room with an amazing view. Very calm and relaxing atmosphere. We didn't make use of the restaurant or bar, since there are so many amazing restaurants near by. A few nice walks that can be done from the front door and plenty more to discover a short drive away, too.

Great view from a comfortable room. Clean and well appointed. Excellent location to explore the surrounding area. Beautiful country setting. Bed was very comfortable!

The room was hot on arrival so we turned off the heat and opened a window. Everything else was perfect. Breakfast was not included in room rate which was confusing because we thought it was.

It's an exceptional location, so beautiful and quiet - a real hidden gem. The rooms are very comfortable and the hotel is very near Masella, the ski resort.

It's a shame the hotel does not offer a dinner service. When you're skiing the whole day, being able to just stay in would be a godsend. A couple of hot tubs would also not go amiss.

The lounge is atmospheric with so much glass onto the garden and pool. Ground floor bedrooms with terraces onto the garden and facing south to the mountains are simple, modest, but great.

The formal dining room is dull and in a basement without natural light.

Hotel Fontanals nails it when it comes to comfort and quality. It makes for an excellent base for your trips and golfing in the region. The breakfast is good and served early enough so you can get an early start to the day!!

Facilities were great, located right on a golf course. The gentleman on reception was extremely helpful. Advised us to have lunch at the golf clubhouse and it was amazing value for money. We will definitely come back.

The hotel was located in a valley surrounded by mountains, it was stunning. I really enjoyed walking around the site, down to the golf course. the main lounge area was lovely with a beautiful vaulted wooden ceiling and comfortable seating. The room was lovely with a very large and comfortable bed

We chose this hotel for its proximity to the airfield for our early morning hot air balloon ride. Great location, very quiet, comfortable and a short drive to the local town with choice of restaurants. Excellent value for money.

Nothing

The hotel is in amazing location, just a 4-minute drive (I timed it) from Alp. It's right in the middle of the Cerdanya Valley, surrounded by fields, cows and a golf course. I loved the big vaulted ceilings at the reception. It was there for skiing so did not request a mountain view... but I should have. They have an amazing view. The price beat the other hotels of the area and I could not believe what a good deal this was. Did I mention all baths are Jacuzzi?

They tried to charge a whole new day's stay for allowing a late check out. I don't mind paying some extra but a whole day for an extra 2 hours is a bit pricy.
