Quintessential Australian country town motel with all the facilities that you need at a very reasonable price. Helpful owners who supply fresh milk when you check in. Easy to locate as it is on the highway but set back from the road so noise is not a problem. Top marks for the comprehensive Guest Information folder in the room which tells you everything you need to know about the motel, facilities in the town, and places to see and things to do in the local area.

We loved everything about the Sunflower Motel! The owners are welcoming, friendly and warm. The grounds are inviting, well maintained and make you feel immediately at ease. The rooms are very clean, well set out and comfortable. There are so many lovely extra touches to enjoy - fresh milk, biscuits in the room, information on the local town, breakfast to order and I could go on! The owners went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable and happy one. Our children adored meeting the alpacas and goats. 10/10!

Everything was great, from customer service to cleanliness then comfort. Facilities were in perfect condition with brand new kitchen equipments (fridge, toaster, kettle). Guests also have access to an outdoor undercover BBQ area with brand new BBQ'S, few tables and chairs. That is where we had our dinner and breakfast. Bedding was clean and comfy. All towels were nicely presented on the beds. We could feel the hosts are going the extra mile to get us feel welcomed and satisfied, especially after comparing with 5 others +4.5stars motels we slept in during our week holidays. And we were nicely surprised that the road is not as close as we thought, and it wasn't noisy at all! Extra: They've got animals on property (alpacas, lamb) which our son was pleased to be introduced to 🤩.

Very comfortable accommodation. Welcoming and friendly owners/management. The motel is on the road into town but set back far enough not to be traffic noise. Easy parking at the door to your room. A very short and enjoyable walk into town. The owners have put a lot of effort into the little things that make the stay comfortable eg fresh milk rather than UHT, excellent tea/coffee self serve tray, mints on the towels and more. The motel has made a deal with the local pub to deliver meals. Another nice touch. Good pub food at a good price. Attached to and owned by the motel is a yard with Alpacas’ which is a nice touch and something different. Cooper, the Alpaca is cute and reasonably friendly. Warialda is a great little town. Friendly locals. A great place to stop.

Jen was so welcoming and friendly. The room was immaculate. The cleanest motel I have ever stayed in. Attention to every detail. The beds were comfy, great shower, gorgeous view. Such a beautiful location. I highly recommend staying here.

As an avid non-smoker, I dislike motels that allow smoking outside rooms as it still wafts around. It’s a deal breaker for me!

The owners of this motel went above and beyond to make us comfortable and gave us ice for cool drinks on a very hot afternoon. We liked the undercover bbq area - perfect for our family travelling in convoy to gather and relax after a long drive. Lovely well-maintained gardens. Kids would love the alpacas in adjacent paddock.

A fence or vegetation screen from road would have shielded from road trucks a bit.

Beautiful clean rooms the office lady was so lovely and helpful. They supply everything for a comfortable stay, with tea coffee with cute bottle of fresh milk, cutlery and a beautiful BBQ area for people on the road. Right next to a small park walking/riding distance and some cute farm animals for the kids to see.

It was a little too far out of town but we didn't have many options. We were four blokes on motorcycles. We really didn't want to get back on the bikes to ride back onto town for dinner, so we walked. However, as part of our overall trip it was no big deal.

From the very first welcome at reception, this was a great stay. Very clean and comfortable with a friendly family operation. Loved meeting the alpacas and Maggie the lamb, even Swoop the cranky magpie! There was lots of birds in the trees and a freat outdoor covered bbq area and tables where we enjoyed a bottle of wine. Despite being on the main road, it wasn't noisy. Highly recommend the Sunflower Motel at Warialda.
