Older style accommodation yet it was clean and very comfortable. Bed large with crispy sheets. Large split system kept room very warm and cosy. Wall mounted tv had a good reception. Kitchenette ample with large fridge/freezer, microwave. Shower large with good warm water flow..large towels provided. Outdoor bbq facilities with random outdoor furniture.

No stove..... a two plate plug in electric cooktop looked dismal and needs updating, although it did work.

The room was fine, clean, quiet, beds comfortable, large fridge, microwave, cooktop, AC effective, bathroom quite roomy, just enough counter space for toiletries, shower pressure and volume fine, no leaking onto floor, bathroom light could be brighter (shaving, makeup), car secured each night off street. Across the road from the Aquatic Centre for soothing soaks!

No power points near bedhead. Had to use our handy extension cord. Otherwise a decent standard motel.

Location is good. Moree is a small town so the motel is a few kilometers from everything in town. The room has a fridge, microwave, dishes, cutlery, etc. Suited me for a late night arrival, heating up leftover takeaway from lunch.

Toenail clippings on the floor were a sign of cursory cleaning. And, not being familiar with the heating/cooling system I baked before turning it off entirely. These systems are common in Australian motels but some of us foreigners haven’t seen them before. Please have explicit written instructions available. I slept maybe 3 hours during my stay due to heat/cooling issues.

This motel is beside the Moree artesian swimming pool which is a big plus when you have been driving all day! The room is quiet and comfortable; there's a big fridge, two hotplates, but no microwave, with the usual utensils and kettle. The AC is new looking but hiding in a corner over the kitchenette so temperature control is a little tricky. The bathroom is large, with single lever taps in both shower and sink. The water pressure and volume are great. The shower seems leak free! Parking is in a secure gated area just outside the room.

No power points near the bed.

Cleanliness. Location. The closest hotel to Hot Spring Pool.

This hotel doesnt have private thermal pool like GYNDIR CARA PARK. But I prefer the public pool around the corner then small pools in cara park and others. So this hotel is a lot more than value for money for me and my wife. This is our second time. We tried 3 places in MOREE. We will choose this one whenever we visit to MOREE in the future as long as the same staff and facilities provided.

Great location - right next door to the Aquatic Centre and the hot pool (purpose of my visit) and a nice easy walk into the CBD for coffee and a look around. Also not far from the very attractive Jellicoe Park and its Aboriginal Heritage Art Trail. Fantastic staff, friendly, helpful and very unobtrusive. Also very happy with the motel's night security and locked gates.

Great facilities and alot of things Items in the rooms we needed!

I think the smokers area is great however it would be better if we could sit /stand outside our room to smoke later at night... we also seen other people we think staff walk around the grounds smoking not being in the smokers area so just think if it's ok for staff to do then I don't see why smokers get confined to small area

For a budget motel, the kitchenette was exceptional. Wonderful to have a proper fridge to refreeze our supplies for a camping trip, and a proper table for dining. The outdoor dining area also gave the motel the feel of a welcoming community.

There was no bedside table between the beds and no bed lamps.

The family staff. Very friendly and informative. Kitchen facilities were great. Close to Thai , Chinese takeaway and restaurants. The hot water artesian pool was a fantastic draw card, two minute walk. Great value for dollar. Cannot fault the stay.

No place is perfect but this was close.

Breakfast was not included. The location was very close to Moree Aquatic Artesian Water that's why we chose Maria Motel. Our purpose is to enjoy the artesian water. It was very good for a short 3 days. But next time we might stay for 5 nights.

We met visitors staying from different motels that had a much lower room rate ($) value than Maria Motel. On our last day at Moree, we were told public transport to drop us off Moree station is free, but the driver charged us $1.50 each total of $4.50 for 3 people.
