My family and I liked every single thing about Kale Konak inside and out. The cave room was perfect for our family, very comfortable and plenty of space (the kids loved that they had their private space). I slept so well, that every morning I felt really refreshed. I wasn't expecting the shower to be so good, but is was actually awesome. Every corner of the Hotel is wonderful. We could see that the owners really paid close attention to every detail. Although the hotel is right across Uchiçar Castle, a popular touristic attraction, it wasn't crowded at all. The fact that the location was not as busy as Goreme (15 min away) was perfect for us. The breakfast was terrific! Personally, I am not a big fan of buffets, so I was very pleased by the way they served the breakfast every morning. Delicious, fresh, home made and intimate. My daughter is a very picky eater, very hard to please, and still she loved going to breakfast every morning. We all had an awesome time and wish we could have stayed for longer. The room design, the landscape, the garden/terrace, the view, the music playing in the background, the cute cats and kittens... Leaving Kale Konak was not easy... If you are considering Kale Konak, don't think twice.

This is a lovely property, far away from the tourist crowds of Goreme! But its easily accessible to all the locations – all tourist locations of Goreme, balloon rides early in the morning, Uchisar castle, etc. It is a perfect setting for a family or group stay. The rooms are spacious and isolated from one another. Though not inside the caves, it does give you the feeling. The staff is very helpful – we arrived around midnight but were assisted with all our heavy bags down the stairs! They have a good breakfast spread and the setup has a view of the valley! Strongly recommend the hotel for your travels!

I loved this cute little boutique hotel. We reserved a cave room and a none cave room. Both were clean and very charming. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Very unique experience and loved the rooms we got! There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance, they also offer a great breakfast with views.

Parking can be a bit challenging and tight, given you are in the cave area with small, narrow streets.

Beautiful and dramatic setting perched on top of the mountain right beneath Uchisar castle. Room was beautiful and has elegant furnishings and decor if you like vintage things. Breakfast was amazing and they brought breakfast to the room for one of us who was sick. they keep wine that you can buy and it was very good.

Cats in the breakfast place was a bit disgusting, especially for people with allergies! Be prepared for navigating small alleys and difficult parking if you are driving on your own.

Excellent location just perfect for a peaceful holiday but close enough to the centre and other areas. Breakfast was delicious and hearty. The place gives you a real feeling of old times with fabulous views to die for. The dogs and cats are a bonus for animal lovers! Last but not the least excellent team who will go out of their way to make guests comfortable.

Extraordinarily well located, right next to Uçhisar castle, this gem of a hotel has everything you need : a beautifully presented breakfast, great customer service, a fantastic view over the valley. And the hammam which you can reserve privately is just the cherry on the sundae :) I have seen very few hotels offering such prestations. As we had an early departure and could not enjoy the breakfast on our last day, they even prepared us a lunchbox to go :)

We had a beautiful room, with balcony & terrace providing great views of the surrounding area. Friendly, and truly helpful staff and a great location with local dining options within walking distance.

Beautiful rooms of great stone work and attractive woodwork: just super fun. Really friendly staff, wonderful breakfast, great location …

You have to be a little bit brave to park up those narrow streets and you may need to move a traffic cone that stops tourists driving up to the castle but the locals all know what’s going on and are lovely

The hotel was beautiful! The location was exceptional. The staff at the hotel was extremely accommodating. We woke up after the breakfast time ended and the hotel staff still prepared breakfast for us! When we checked in they upgraded us to a better room just because it was available without any charge.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

The room is built out of a castle and is very cleverly furnished. The breakfasts provided by the hotel were the best we enjoyed in our entire trip in Turkey. As well as the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Emel at the hotel is a very sincere and genuine person, we very much enjoyed talking to her.
