Staff we encountered were all very pleasant and accommodating - Marina in reception was very helpful and friendly. Our room was not large but adequate we had a small balcony to sit in the evening. Buffet style breakfast was included in the price and there was a really good selection to choose from. We were able to park the car on the premises and walk into town or the beach

Driveway onto the street is tight and on a hill so this makes turning left a bit of a magic act. Better to turn right and go up the street to find a safe place to make a turn and drive back past the hotel.

I first visited Cavos Bay in the late 90's and fell in love with the rooms with balconies that allow you to watch the sunset over the azure Aegean. This year I've returned to the hotel twice. Once with my teenage daughter and the other with my elderly sick parents. All my family love this hotel. The traditional Greek breakfasts are plentiful and delicious with homemade cakes, local jams, honey and pastries. The location is amazing, close to beaches, restaurants and hiking paths. The beds are more comfortable than ones I have in my own home> Even my almost-80 year old father found beds to be comfy for his aching bones. The staff are lovely, caring, always smiling. They are eager to please with anything from bookings to room arrangements in any way they can. The small pool is warm and has a sea-water fed waterfall. The hotel really is picturesque

There is really nothing to dislike about this hotel, except if you are an anxious driver the private road down to the hotel is quite steep.

On driving to the car park we noticed the " garden view" rooms overlooking the approach. This is what we had booked but to our delight we had been upgraded to a studio by the pool. It was nicely furnished , cool , excellent a/c , very quiet at night with a glorious view out to sea. We both thought this was the best part of our holiday

It couldn't have been omproved but because we were now by the pool there was a very steep path up to the road. Only on the second day did we find there was a lift part of the way. There was a large group of people staying with many children who were so noisy and unruly in the pool that everyone else left. Only later did it become obvious that their parents were the only people remaining but made no attempt to quieten down their children. This however was not the hotels fault and not a reason to avoid the hotel

The hotel is gorgeous. You feel like staying there forever. Marina, Dimitris, Antígona, the cleaning Lady, the Ladies who serve breakfast,well, everyone is helpful and friendly. It's quiet, the views are stunning. Perfect breakfast. By the way, food in Ikaria is unique.I super recommend. Don't forget me! I'll be back!!!!

Maybe the room cleaning deserves more attention.

One of the rare places that looked better in person than in the pictures. Very pleasant, and great communication.

People staying longer could get bored with breakfast.

Location was excellent, large patio, comfortable beds. Loved playing with the 4 kittens 🤣

Very average breakfast, lots of cold food that should be hot. No variety from day to day.

The property is in a great location with beautiful views of the sunset and sunrise over the sea. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Salt water pools. Everything in Armenistis plus two beautiful beaches are very calming distance. Coffee shop across the street. We would stay here again.

Breakfast was average at best and I would wish for it to be a bit more meticulously clean. For example, there was hair on the sheets and in various places on the floor when we arrived. I realize it’s difficult to get it perfectly clean when it’s such a confined space with furniture.

A great place to stay, stunning. Staff were very friendly, whole place was very clean and spotless. Pools were great, although it is saltwater but not a problem. One has a good deep end which is nice. Breakfast was very good also, large variety of food with fruits, cereals and typical Greek spread. Location good, requires a taxi to get to, but great once you are there.

Wifi was some of the worst I have ever experienced travelling. Would barely work in the room and was very unreliable in other parts of the hotel too. We got sunburnt under the pool umbrellas as they are not 100% UV proof.

Beautiful location on a cliff with ocean views on two sides. Close to a small town that has good restaurants, some shops and a small supermarket. Wonderful beaches (both developed and secluded) and stunning hikes close by.

Due to the mountainous nature of the island and the location of this hotel on the other side it takes over 1,5 hours by car from the airport. There is no public transport (at least not outside peak season) so you need to rent a car immediately at the airport. This also means that getting to sights at the airport side (like the thermal springs and the Drakonis tower) takes again 1,5 hour there and back by car.
