We had a great stay in Scilla old town at il Casate. The room was just as described and right at the water's edge with incomparable sea views. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, I think this was the most comfortable bed I've slept in for a while. Breakfast was also great, very generous. We used their parking facilities which cost 15 Euro per day and included the trip by shuttle as the parking is a bit far off from the accommodation which is in a limited traffic area. Will be very happy to stay here again

A must stay hotel in Scilla. A very High quality hotel: super comfortable room in a modern design, delicious breakfast with marvellous view and very kind staff. Dont miss it and book the sea—view room it is definitely worth paying more

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast's were wonderful. Room was amazing with unbelievable views! The town was small but very quaint. Downstairs they have a wonderful restaurant. It felt like you were in a cave but was absolutely beautiful and food was amazing! Definitely stay several days or longer so you don't have to move the luggage and can enjoy this beautiful area.

Only negative is getting to the front door. No cars are allowed due to the width of the street, so you needed to park a couple of hundred meters away. Parking was very limited at the church, but it was easy to get to that point. Bringing luggage from there to the hotel was a little difficult because of the cobblestone street. But it was well worth the experience once you got there.

Il Casato Deluxe Rooms and Restaurants is an exceptional bed and breakfast in the charming fishing village of Scilla. The hotel offers beautifully modern rooms with excellent amenities and is just a 12-minute walk to the beach. The picturesque village surroundings add to its charm, making it an authentic and delightful place to stay. The friendly staff, cleanliness, and the delicious breakfast make the experience even more enjoyable. What more can I say?

Superb location with restaurants, bars and boat tours just metres away. The rooms were quiet, modern and had great air conditioning. Beautifully cleaned daily we had spectacular views of the sea, castle and town, The breakfast was delicious, generous with a wide array of food and beverages. We ate on two occasions at the hotel’s restaurant and found it to be one of the best in the area. All of the hotel staff and manager that we dealt with were friendly and always went out of their way to help us with any queries we had including arranging transfers. All of our group of 9 wouldn’t hesitate to return here again.

Everything!! The staffs are all so welcoming and kind, hotel + restaurant alike. (We miss you Gina). Although we couldn’t book a sea view room, our room was spacious, clean, comfortable. In fact, the bed was one of the most comfortable of our whole stay in southern Italy! The breakfast was AMAZING. Super kid friendly for families with young children (and compensates for the sea view) Location was perfect with secured paid parking nearby. The restaurant offers a discount with a stay and was truly very good compared to other venues we’ve tried around. Service impeccable. We would certainly stay here again if we return to Scilla one day!

Very pleased with this hotel. The bed was ultra comfortable, windows opened letting fresh ocean air in, it was dark in the room at night with no unnecessary lights blinking or on and the AC unit worked wonders. It's on the best part of the historic street on the water with lots of dining options with steps from the door of the hotel, yet its incredibly quiet at night. Overall the value for this is among the best of our trip through Italy.

We had an exceptional stay at this hotel. Every aspect surpassed our expectations - the location, room, breakfast, restaurant, and staff were all outstanding. The view from our room was magical and unsurpassed, and the bed and room were very comfortable. The breakfast room also offered another great view, and the staff who run it were excellent. They noticed our fondness for the lemon torta, and the next morning, an extra piece appeared on our plate! There was a good variety of sweet, savory, yogurt, and fruit options. And finally, the restaurant was a five-star experience for me - the entree, main course, and dessert, along with the recommended wine and the setting, all hit the mark.

location in a lovely part of the old idyllic town of Scilla. the standard of the hotel is good, the cleanliness is first class. breakfast plentiful and everything was served to the tables.

The room was sold without a sea view, but it was disappointing that the only window in the room was a 30 cm high hatch in the ceiling, so the room was dark. all the plantings had been neglected, the flowers on the hotel's balcony were no longer in order. Scilla was idy. As a town, Scilla is idyllic but surprisingly littered.

This is just one of the most beautiful places I have stayed in in Europe. Scilla is enchanting. The staff were so warm and helpful. The rooms beautiful. The food and service great. Just watch out or your arrival - I strongly recommend you listen to advice and park in the parking lot the Hotel provide which is 1.5km from the Hotel. You will be collected by a shuttle service. You cannot access the Hotel by car yourselves.

I can't think of a thing to not like. Perhaps if you don't manage stairs well then make sure to book a room just one flight up.
