Language barriers with a few of the staff. This is understandable, the problem is how they handled the situation. It was like they ignored or snubbed me and I was standing there not knowing what to do because I was sure they heard me. It took a while for me to realize that they either are not fluent or dont speak English. Note however that most of the staff can speak english. I only happened to have encounter with two who are not quite fluent on my first day - electrician and cleaner. Im sure they didnt mean to make me feel snubbed.

The hotel itself is relatively small, so it’s not that crowded. Spa is very good. Interior is discreet, but well-detailed. Some quite luxury.

Pre-authorization payment was charged as well as check-out payment. So I was charged twice until I contact my bank. You’d better improve the payment process. Btw, the Square restaurant hostess wasn’t friendly, she didn’t allow us to have a seat in the restaurant, saying it’s all reserved, although it was almost empty and had no reservation signs. When we finally got the table and our dinner, we didn’t see anyone coming for 2 hours.

We absolutely loved out stay. Staff was fantastic! We will be back soon! Everyone was super friendly and doing an excellent job. The atmosphere was cozy and clean and detail oriented. We loved it.

We didn't like the fact that you were allowed to smoke indoors. As non-smokers, we found it horrible. But we understood, that this is the case everywhere in Belgrade. A shame, I hope the law changes soon.

Being a Genius Level 3 guy on booking, I have hardly ever left a 10 star review in the last 10+ years of leaving reviews across Europe and beyond. This hotel however truly deserves it and how! There were three of us with three superior king rooms. The location is great and it's truly the city center with access to clubs, nightlife and pubs. The staff is one of the most helpful I have seen. I don't remember the last time concierge offered to take my luggage to my room in Europe. Nothing ever was a problem. When we left the hotel, there were people to hold the doors for us. We truly felt pampered. The rooms were spacious with a lot of natural sunlight. The bathrooms were good size and looked rich and truly 5 star. The amenities were all high end. The spa facilities were amazing with a long swimming pool. I had forgotten to take my swimming googles but was offered one free of charge. They even had sauna and steam rooms. Finally, a special praise is reserved for the guy who served us breakfast (apologies can't remember the name). On the second day he remembered what we had ordered the previous day and even helped us in recommendations for the city. He went over and beyond in being truly helpful. And the breakfast was sumptuous and excellent.

Very minor in the grand scheme of things, the hotel would do well to invest in a bit of upgrade to the common areas and the furnishing of the rooms. Some of it looks aged. But it more than made up for it with everything else really.

breakfast was included in the price and then to find out that it doesn't include scrambled eggs and salmon, or for that matter anything that you order from the menu they provide is beyond ridiculous for a 5 star hotel. So to summarize you are charged 20 euros on top off 30 they already charged for breakfast when booking the room, in effect those scrambled eggs and side of salmon were 50 euro.

The hotel interior is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and the staff is super friendly! Petar the concierge was super helpful!

Very good Breakfast. Spa with good services. Staff very attentive and nice.

Inner swimming pool very cold, not confortable at all; Small room. Hotel not appropriate for small children, should be labelled "adults only". There is no wheelchair/stroller acess at the main entrance.

Absolutely loved the hotel! Perfect service, incredibly friendly and competent, on top of super design. Wish one could find hotels like these in other European cities. Also wish my business would bring me back to Belgrade more often, so that I can stay at the hotel... :)

Absolutely nothing to criticise!

Everything is just right at the Square nine Hotel: perfect location and service, great architecture, very good restaurants. We had three rooms as a large family. We were kindly given an upgrade. We'd love to come back and will be advertising it in Berlin.

Amazing location lobby and swimming pool. Kind staff. Beautiful location and tasty food. Convenient parking.

Asked at night for some disinfectant (had a cut) and night staff was clueless. For a 5 star not great. No electric plug in the lobby that is a bit absurd as many people working there.
