This hotel is less than 500m from the Temple of the Tooth, so you can walk out of the door and be in the middle of town. The staff were very welcoming, the room was fine. We needed to leave early and they organised a packed breakfast.

The Japanese food was ok, I've recently been lucky enough to go to Japan and this was a Sri Lankan interpretation. There is no alcohol in the hotel , but he Royal Hotel is just around the corner.

It is a beautiful hotel with a wonderful design in the City Centre. The food was very good and tasty. Also the staff were very kind and welcoming.

The bed looked comfortable. However, I had to sleep on an extra bed which was a converted couch. It was really uncomfortable and impossible to sleep on it.

Location of this hotel is brilliant very near the sacred tooth temple. The staff could not have been nicer and were incredibly friendly and helpful. Was spotlessly clean and the room was fantastic with all the facilities we could need including an iron and ironing board. Also did our laundry at a very reasonable price. Breakfast was nice and we ate here one night and the food was good although they do not serve alcohol at this hotel. Oasis of calm on a very busy city, was always a pleasure to go bs m to this hotel.

Incredible location very close to the Temple of the Tooth so easy to visit before the crowds descend. Loved that there was a free minibar stocked with chocolate, soft drinks and flavoured milk cartons, and they even brought extra chocolates round in the evening! Very luxurious feel to the property and quiet despite central location. We got a good booking deal so was excellent value.

Our room was between two families and the children were running back and forth and slamming the doors during the day.. was fine at night but would have preferred not to have been right next to them.

The room was very clean and comfortable - the bed especially was extremely comfortable and we had the best nights sleep. We were also upgraded for a room with a balcony which was lovely. The hotel itself is quite small and compact with clean and simple interior. The food was a highlight for us - the breakfast offered was the best we had during our stay in Sri Lanka and the choice for lunch / dinner was varied. We ended up trying the sushi (as this is the hotel speciality) and it was incredible! I would recommend if looking for a change of cuisine during your stay. The staff were also very friendly and attentive. I had a massage and it was the best one of the whole trip - highly recommend booking a massage with the therapist if staying.

The hotel doesn’t have a pool or rooftop bar / outdoor space, therefore you need to go elsewhere if wanting to relax outside. Due to the proximity to the Temple of the Tooth, just be aware that no alcohol is served in the hotel (this wasn’t a problem for us as there are many other options nearby).

We stayed at the hotel as a family from July 15 to 18, 2024. The hotel has a very good location in the city center. The room and the hotel are very clean, the service is at the highest level, very tasty and varied breakfasts. Initially we were put in room 209, but early in the morning, at 5 am, mf heard that some animal fell through the vent and was crying pitifully. We thought it was a bird. Notified the nice girl at the front desk. We were moved to room 409 with a gorgeous view and the hotel staff started the rescue operation. After lunch the poor animal was pulled out of the ventilation, it turned out to be a CAT. Huge respect to the hotel staff for the high service and love not only to the hotel guests, but also to the animals)))))

Great location. The manager, Dhanush, and all his staff offered service with a smile, were efficient and went the extra mile to offer an excellent experience. Great breakfast and we especially loved the Sri Lankan herbal green porridge. Comfortable room and facilities.

Complicated control of the light switches which even after 4 days we just couldn't work out ! Sadly, the restaurant did not serve vegetarian meal as requested and simply shook off the fish flakes off our dish and served it. We rejected it.

Central location very comfortable spot to visit the city center, hotel is very nice, staff very friendly, nice complete breakfast and food at the restaurant was also nice, staff let us dine quite late after the Perahara parade, and we really appreciated it since we could dine comfortably next to our room at a late time with our kid.

Only two small issues, we got the suite with the private pool, unfortunately the water was ice cold so the kid and I couldn’t really enjoy bathing in it,which is a pity considering we got the room for that reason. Another issue was the toilet faucet was leaking so in the morning our bathroom was half flooded, so the water must be closed at night,

Location: the hotel is in the center of Kandy, right next to the temple of the tooth. It has a great variety of restaurants nearby at just a walking distance. Staff: the staff helped us with all our questions, namely with finding transportation, talking with other locals to set up some tours and preparing us a take away breakfast when we wanted to leave at early hours. They also offered us a welcome drink and snack as soon as we arrived which showed their amazing hospitality. Facilities: the hotel has a gym, it is also clean and very comfortable with all the amenities and toiletries that you might need.
