Location was perfect right next to Plaza Mayor & Cathedral. Our room was fabulous and quiet. The original, period, architectural features throughout the hotel but particularly in the lounge are fabulous.

The noise generated by the fan located next to the wine rack and side door was seriously excessive. The playing of loud music to "mask" the excessive noise of the fan/cooler didn't help either. Would it be possible to locate this fan/cooler on the outside of the restaurant wall and introduce the cooler air into the restaurant via a "pipe/duct that has a noise reducer (baffle) ?

The location was brilliant for exploring the historical sites with plenty of bars and eateries. Although I would recommend the attached restaurant with its excellent menu and support staff. The hotel provided a discount ticket for a 24-hour carpark particularly useful for extended stays.

Oh! Found myself locked in the bathroom. Faulty lock, fortunately, my wife used a coin to free me. Didn't report this.

On arrival we were upgraded to a beautiful room with spectacular views from both windows.

In the evening we had to wait over an hour for a table for dinner. I would have preferred to be told there were no tables and we would have gone elsewhere. The food was not good and very expensive. The restaurant staff were average. Aside from the restaurant, our stay was perfect.

Great location right near Plaza Mayor. Staff friendly and helpful. Decent restaurant/breakfast place attached. Room was a good size - we asked for a room on a higher floor with a view.

This is a hotel right in a historic building in the old city, so no parking. But there is a paid garage just up the street. Parking rate was high - would be nice if there was a discount (or free) for hotel guests.

We loved the place itself. It is so beautiful! The building is majestic. The room was big and comfortable. The bed was very nice. The stairs are beautiful. Everything in it was breathtaking. The view from our room was spectacular. We wanted to stay there and just look out the windows! The restaurant was attended by very nice, educated, well mannered young men. The food was delicious.

Good location. We parked the car in the car park for 17.50 euros. There was free parking further up the hill but it was a long walk down to the hotel. The restaurant was good but we only had a pizza plus apple salad. We ate breakfast in the plaza mayor. The reception staff varied from pleasant to very friendly.

The plumbing was noisy from other rooms.

This room was lovely! And the bathroom was fantastic! The entire place had a great feel and was within easy walking distance of the sites of the city. Parking isn't on site but is easy to get to and close. I wanted to go back. Will on my my next Spain trip.

The staff was professional but not overly friendly. In Spain I had gotten very used to very friendly staff.

Beds were comfortable and location was wonderfully convenient, in the heart of old Cuenca.

Room floor was not very clean and door knob was broken. It had to be fixed after we had already settled in. Also, staff could only give us one map of the city. We were planning on splitting and convening in one place, but it was very difficult with only one copy.

Couldn't fault this hotel in any way. The location was great. Our bed was very comfortable & room spacious. The breakfast was really good even though it was an extra €14. Staff were very pleasant &; helpful. It was a very competitive price & very good value for your money

The location is exceptional. The hotel is superb and though our room didn't have a view it is clearly well positioned towards the top of the town. It was clean and breakfast was great. The history almost breathes from the walls of this convent. One of many in the town, several of which are hotels. The staff I spoke to were extremely polite and helpful. I have half decent Spanish and they could speak half decent English so it was great. Really pleased with the whole town and hotel.

It lacked coat hangers we only had three, this was a very small issue however.
