The Hotel may be a little tired and in need of refurbishment, however, the staff were excellent particularly David at the front desk and Mimo in the restaurant. The Buffet breakfast had plenty of choice and was surprisingly good. The Pool and lunch area was very well maintained and clean. The Hotel always felt clean and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful with a special mention for the Accommodation cleaning team. Despite it's tired interior, the overall experience made it a very good Hotel to stay in and I would return again

Our bedroom was very tired looking as were the corridors. We did look into some rooms which had been upgraded with wooden floors and they looked far superior and if the Hotel were to continue that style and level of comfort for other rooms it would benefit greatly from better reviews. It was really only the bedrooms and corridors that disappointed.

The staff were very friendly and attentive, especially on reception. I missed breakfast one morning and a lovely lady behind reception arrange for the kitchen to bring me a coffee, croissant and juice. Our room was one of the new rooms on the 3rd floor which was modern and we were very pleased with it (The rooms on the 1st and 2nd floor and very dated). The air con was great and ensured our room was lovely and cool. The hotel was so clean, in all areas. The cleaners cleaned our rooms daily.

The staff at the outside bar could be quite frosty at times but, to their defence, I wouldn’t want to work outside in 30+ degree heat. The bar outside is cash or charge to room only. I would have felt more comfortable paying for my drinks and food on card when ordering them. Myself and my friends also didn’t like the breakfast - the meat and eggs to me were inedible - they could easily improve this and hopefully will. The location was quite far away from where I thought we would be, however, this is not the fault of the hotel. But something to be wary of when booking if you are planning on walking everywhere - a positive spin on this is that the area is lovely and quiet.

The outdoor pool is a very good size with plenty of adjustable chairs and sunshades. The outdoor bar with tables in the shade is very good. Breakfast buffet is excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to give good service even though I arrived quite early. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing generally (I was there the weekend of some Euros matches!) which suits me. The room was comfortably cool in the heat.

The restaurant is very good but I would have liked some more simple, typical Italian food as well as the fancier dishes. I was at this hotel in 2013 and had the best risotto alla Milanese ever! However the food was served promptly and was delicious.

Lovely property, airing on the side of out dated. very relaxing no rushing or problems getting a space around the pool. Staff helpful. Great breakfast. Room has stocked mini fridge tea coffee making facilities. Plenty of storage and WiFi signal good.

Seems very quiet in the evening. Restaurant menu was not to our liking and the same each night. Bar didn’t seem to be open and was empty. Not a bad thing but 15mins walk to town in case that’s and issue. Taxi from hotel seem to be a problem.

Good breakfast, good location, very quiet location but short walk to the beach, boat rentals etc, cleanly and great staff

Room could be little bit bigger, bad WiFi, could use few more parking spaces, night 5/5 everything had been great but there were some banging noises Where the fan is in the Bathroom , that night there was kinda windy dont know if Its connected to that but it was fine before and there was no wind before

The breakfast was really nice. A good selection of fruits, cereals, hot and cold food. The breakfast bar/self service area was a little cramped when busy. The outdoor pool was excellent, plenty of sunbeds, clean and tidy with a handy snack bar.

The room was a little dated but still comfortable. The hotel is quite a walk from the main town. Great if the weather is fine but not so if its inclement.

Breakfast/ Restrurant was very clean and pleasant. Breakfast was excellent with choices of food but not much choices hot meal for for vegetarians. Balcony bedroom was clean but small for superior room. Hotel in situted in a very nice quite residential location and easy to get by car and with parking facilities.

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Oliveto. It was the ideal location for us walking into the centre of Desenzano every day (20-min walk), and a 30-min walk to the train station so we were able to explore other places. You can easily walk to the boat which goes to other parts of the lake. The room was very clean with fresh towels, robes, slippers and toiletries. We had a big corner balcony with fantastic views. Plenty storage space in the wardrobes which also contained a safe for valuables. The bed was comfortable enough. There was a mini bar and snacks available for purchase within the room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The outdoor and indoor pools are fantastic and seemed ideal for families. The spa area was also nice. Be aware that you have to pay an additional fee for the use of the indoor pool and spa but the outdoor pool is free. The breakfasts were good.

The food at the restaurant was not the nicest, I would advise eating at other places. The air-con was quite noisy but it didn't keep us up at night.

I loved the view of the lake from our rooms, and to have a balcony with chairs to enjoy from it. The hotel has a nice outdoor pool, good parking options and is at a walkable distance to the city and all its stores, restaurants and boat trips. Very good price-benefit relation for the region. Makes me want to return to it.

The sound insulation of the European-sized rooms could be a little better as the guests like the place so much that they enjoy talking until late in the restaurant. Breakfast was quite busy, but staff worked diligently to clean and refill the many options. The breakfast could also profit from a better presentation of the food.

Breakfast was great, lovely staff, the room was modern and cleaned everyday. Even though I wrote some negative stuff about my stay - I will come back in the future if I will be in the area again.

The room was not soundproof and you could hear a little bit of steps. It didn't bother us or woke us up in the night but I guess it depends how loud your neighbours are. The location was not in the center but not far from it. You need to walk 5-10 minutes to get to the center which is not that bad because you get to walk near the lake and explore the beautiful area and the streets.
