The house looks new and indeed beautiful with scenic views. Everything in the house looks news. Excellent location. Few mins drive to crab claw statue, ice museum and drift ice cruise. The house is very well maintained. The kitchen are well maintained with all the cooking utensils. The products including shampoo and body soap are from POLA (quality products and I simply love this brand).

There were many instructions on what to do after check in.. The instructions on check in states cannot pull yr luggage into the house (perhaps bad accidents happened in the past so the owner to state this as a condition). Another Instruction is to check the house for scratches and inform the owner immediately (this is rather unusual and perhaps also due to bad accidents in the past). Having said the above, the house is well maintained and the owner has put in great effort and resources to maintain this house. There is only one toilet in the house so may not be enough to cater for big group.

As per the photos, the view from the accommodation was sea view. It is just outside the crab claw statue that it became almost like a wall picture at night. The place was very clean and the facilities were modern and complete. We had an enjoyable time there. Check in was easy and the instruction was clear as well

The toilet was very far from the hand washing and bath area. Privacy will be compromised if the blinds were not pulled. No fan/aircon in the room. When we opened the window, many small flies flew in despite the mosquito net. The bunk bed had very low ceiling, so need to be careful when sitting up.

The establishment is in an idyllic location, within the proximity of the seal sanctuary we wanted to visit. We absolutely loved the fabulous view from the windows. The view of the Crab Claw was like a painting on the wall. The scent of wood is a delight. The sauna is a great plus. Mombetsu is a less conventional travel destination. The positive experience at this place makes it evermore special. Being in there really feels like a getaway and forget about the world. We came up with a romantic idea, if you aspire to write a book, it could be a place where you like to do it.

Little did we know that the nearby restaurants and convenient store close by 19:00. Between going to the city centre for dinner and back by taxi and walking for 30 minutes to another convenient store for food, we chose the latter. Travelers rely on public transport may find it inconvenient. But I must say, it did not take away the joy staying at the place and it is a great place for a dinner gathering with friends.

Awesome location ,right beside the famous giant crab claw statue. So near to most of the tourist attractions. Few minutes drive to nearby groceries store as well. Having the whole unit (room 2) by ourselves was just perfect for a relaxing family trip ,while dropping by this lovely small town of Monbetsu. Definitely will be my first choice if I ever come again.

Add on 1 portable induction stove would be perfect ,so we can enjoy the steamboat from the dining area .

The place is big with washer and even has a personal sauna. Free and easy parking right outside too.

We took some time to get help on how to get warm water, as the tap of the incoming hot water was turned off and there was no instructions on turning on the tap.

Location was excellent with a car. Huge wide carpark to park at. House was built with a modular system and the condition was incredibly new, but may deteriorate over time. Morning sunrise was beautiful. True to photos.

I went in end of May which had a lot of small flying insects that don't bite, just a bit annoying. Had some issues with checking in, but solved very swiftly on Booking.com messages. I didn't use the radiator, but am not sure how windproof the house will be in winter

The villa is cosy and awesome. A nice little cabin for a short getaway with great view. The heating in the room is good and the water pressure for shower is great. Driving here is needed as there is no eateries nearby.

Apartment was accurately described through the listed photos. Neat and cosy place.

The host had asked for check-in details through an app before arriving at the venue, which had to be repeated again at the check-in. Would recommend the host to consider and request all check-in details through the app for efficient and smooth check-in.

Very clean and extremely comfortable.

Checking in needs a bit getting use to as there is no face to face touch point.

Big private house with full facilities in a perfect location. The house has everything you need and close to the Icebreaker pier. Easy self check in and out.
