The room was clean and comfortable. And quiet. Opened up onto a large veranda, though could be entered through a door in the hall, so I think any person at the hotel could use, but as at the end of a corridor set by itself, doubtful anyone knew about it. If relaxing on the bed could watch the television, with lots of different channels on a smart TV. Breakfast is the typical buffet in Europe and the coffee machine had decaff. Cozy nicely presented hotel, looking out onto the main square and castle battlements. Central to loads to see and do , and from what I could see out of the old town, a good bus connection.

Not much to not like really, only thing I would judge on would be the promise of booking parking on the write up. They do have parking spaces, which can not be allocated. However, there is parking on a gravelled area up a hill and a very short walk from the entrance, which we found. Parking anywhere else is only for half an hour from 8am to 8pm, so can park out of these hours. The tourist information gentleman (just across the street from the hotel) said no one ever gets a ticket......but we did see a policeman writing down plate numbers.

property is very well located but parking is a challenge. Superior suite room we had the first night was awesome. the second night we had to move due to availability to a smaller double room, it was nice but very small. what makes this place great is the staff. they were absolutely amazing.

parking and air conditioning didn’t work so we had to change rooms but staff resolved the issue quickly and with care. honestly things happen but these folks know customer service which in my experience is rare some times. vale for your money is also really good.

Great hotel, friendly staff. The room was excellent quality, fantastic terrace with town view. Comfortable bed and a hydromassage bathtub. I also dined several times at the hotel restaurant which has delicious food for amazing prices, specially with their daily menu. Breakfast food was also good. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone, you won't regret it.

Needs better parking options

Cute little hotel in the center of town. We had the family room with a souble bed and a single bed. The room was on the smaller side but perfect for a few nights. The beds were very comfortable and the room had a lush feel. The water pressure in the shower wsd perfect! We didn't hear too much outside noise however the walls are quite thin and we could hear the neighbors as if we were all in the same room and they were speaking at a normal volume and were not being overly loud. But don't let that deter you from staying there. It is well worth the stay for the price. We didn’t get to try the restaurant because we arrived too late but there are nearby places you can eat at. The breakfast was very good and had a good selection. The staff is very friendly. Parking can be challenging as the hotel only has 4 spaces available (1st come, 1st serve). We would definitely go back if needed.

Finding parking was challenging on a Friday night.

I loved the fact that the hotel was right next to the castle… Nice place to be with many shops around… Reminds me the medieval times…great place… Lovely breakfast…

They don’t serve food in the hotel during night time… If get to the hotel after 00:00 you will have to go out to buy junk food (McDonald’s’s or KFC) and make sure u r driving otherwise no chance to get anything nearby

The room was well decorated and clean. The bathroom was lovely with jacuzzi bath. Lovely view across the square to the castle. Breakfast was good, with a variety of food available. The bed was comfortable and the pillow wasn't hard. I could not fault my stay.

Absence of reception staff. There was a call bell but it didn't seem to work.

The room was clean. The reception was super friendly and helpful. And mostly and more important it was good location for first time traveller in Portugal, Torres Novas. There’s a restaurent on the main floor and many Terasses downstairs where you can eat or have a drinks ($). Plus the amazing view you have on the Castle! Wow

The only negative point I would add is the lack of sockets to charge phones, laptops, etc. The only ones available are connected to the bedside lamps, which forces you to choose between lighting or charging your devices.

The hotel is in the middle of the town nearby a very nice place. It was very easy to reach it and to walk around in the nice town of Torres Novas. They are also a few nice and good restaurants nearby
