Spacious room. Excellent breakfast. Lovely pool overlooking the beach.

We had been assigned an accessibility room purely by coincidence not request. Although it was great to have such a huge shower area there was nowhere to hang a towel in there so you had to come out of the shower.room dripping to get your towel. We had to ask 3 times for a kettle and cups for the room. It's a good 45 min walk into old Cadiz town. We would have stayed in the old town if we'd been able to find suitable accommodation. The city beach is actually beautiful. However the huge stretch of beach along the peninsula is beautiful and the hop on hop off bus proves invaluable as it goes all the way out to the hotel .

Location is brilliant - literally on the beach with wonderful views along the beach and out to the ocean. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful with lots of choices and wide selection of foods. The hotel itself is modern and immaculately clean with helpful and friendly staff throughout and a great atmosphere of calm. A delightful place to stay.

Only criticism was the allocation of sunbeds on the pool deck. It was clear the perennial problem of guests "reserving" sunbeds and then disappearing into town is alive and well at the Cadiz Bahia, we witnessed at least two groups who had "reserved" their spots and then disappeared from the pool area for several hours preventing others from using them - very inconsiderate and maybe something the hotel could police more effectively. Otherwise, there was literally nothing to fault.

The hotel is very centrally located. The staff at the reception was welcoming and nice. We had double room without sea view, perhaps the most basic option. The room is well decorated and spacious. The bed is comfortable, we also had a nice terrace to sit on but the view is on another hotel.

There is no kettle or coffee machine. The motion activated light at the entrance was disturbing during the night if one person goes to the loo another one wakes up from suddenly turning on lights. There is parking but it’s not free for the hotel guests, we paid €18 per night.

Excellent booking in service and hotel and car parking explanation. Beautiful decor and cleanliness throughout. Junior suite fab with lovely views of pool and sea. Bed really comfortable and towels large and thick. Sufficient seating in each room. Restaurant and bar area very comfortable and staff always happy to help. The menues for breakfast and dinner are substantial, varied and very nicely presented. Location perfect for beach and City. Bus service number 1 is frequent and cheap (€1.60) just round the corner of the hotel. Bars, shops and restaurants all round the hotel, if you want to leave that is😂.

Thoughts only : Car park operates as a public car park with hourly and daily rates. No direct elevator to 'room floors' access. Junior suite shower room has nowhere to place toiletories, and towels are found under the washbasins in the bedroom. There are no hooks for hand towels. No table or anywhere to place items in the bedroom. Very small wardrobe hanging space with no full length facility. Not sufficient sunbeds for size of hotel, and for those available most are under shade. No reservation policy is not adhered to with many beds left as occupied for long lengths of time.

Location of the hotel and the view from the room was so nice. Spacious room, comfortable bed and very clean. They supplied a kettle so we could have some hot drink in the room, which was bonus. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. A plenty of choice for the breakfast, also a beautiful view from there. Lot of restaurants and bars, nearby walking distance.

The only slight down side: You get charged each time you take a car out(18 euros a day), so we left our car there and took a bus(No.1, 1 minute walk from the hotel, it takes you to Plaza de España) to explore the old city centre which is walkable, only 1.10 euros each ( each way). It would be easier and maybe cheaper than taking your own car.

Huge hotel. Beautiful big rooms. Very comfortable beds. Plenty of space for a family of 3. Great pool area. Well organised breakfast room with really good choices.

There was nothing I didn’t like bout the hotel. The bit I did not like was the location is a resorty area. Lots of chain restaurants within minutes but if you are a foodie these choices won’t impress you. Cadiz is 45 minute walk or €7 cab ride. Cadiz is very run down and a lot of premises closed down or shut up so it was a bit disappointing but this is nothing to do with the hotel. The hotel was the saving Grace to the destination and we were happy to hang out there.

Very was cold pool, access from beach could be easier to get back into pool area .. u have to go back to front of hotel and walk though reception soaking wet .. food looks great but we are vegan , we did request this before we came ( just breakfast) .. they did make us up a bit of salad and some berries but it was nothing compared to the variety everyone else got .. we didn’t expect much but a bit more effort would have been nice - we had to buy stuff in supermarkets and bring to breakfast to add to the very limited options for us

Stayed in a studio, great and spacious! Beds were very comfortable. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was lovely, add it if you're unsure as we had not added and had to pay each morning that we decided to eat which was quite expensive compared to paying at time of booking. Would definitely recommend and also return myself!

Strong smell of Bleach in the room constantly, I guess this would be a positive in some instances but it was very strong. The shower nob to change from handheld shower head to the shower head above was broken. Maintance had to come to change it for me and I had to leave it as is for the remainder as it was too stiff to change back. Cleaners could not do it either clearly as once it was done it was left that way and shower was not cleaned properly. 2 very small things that didn't really affect our stay.

The breakfast was superb as was the dining room and outdoor terrace where it was served. Stunning sea views from there as well as from our queen sea view room. The balcony was very sunny all day so we moved the lovely patio furniture into the room and enjoyed the wall-to-wall amazing sea views from there. The bed was VERY comfortable and the room was BEAUTIFUL. The whole hotel is like a gallery full of wide open spaces and amazing artworks. The restaurant for dinner is self service which is just not our thing, but suits many people. The choice was extensive and some of the dishes were excellent. The service to order wine or drinks there was also speedy and reliable. The staff were great. Lunch is available at the pool bar. Lovely staff and service but food a bit hit or miss. The car park was EASY despite some of the bad reviews we read in advance, and cost us 18 euros a day.

I am not sure how this can easily be remedied, but the TWO sinks in the main bedroom (not the bathroom) didn't bother us but would annoy some. The issue is the sinks themselves which have no overflow and therefore no plug. Washing your hands was nigh on IMPOSSIBLE. Not very hygienic for this reason. Also the tap is artistically leaning over the sink but as soon as you try to wash your hands it floods out onto your toiletries and make-up. Bit of a shame given how much thought had obviously gone into everything else.

The location was fantastic, we were able to overlook the beach from the pool. The whole hotel was always immaculate and very clean. The decor in the room and around the hotel and pool was very modern. The staff were very attentive. We had to wash some of our babies clothes and the hotel did this for us free of charge. I was cleaning the baby bottles in the sink of our room and the cleaner left me a brush to help clean. There is a bus stop just around the corner which can take you up to the old town which was a really easy way to get around.

In the bedrooms the door to the toilet is see through. It would be nice to have a bit more privacy.
