Super nice,caring,pleasant, friendly,helpful staff. Front desk lady ( forgot her name ) who works morning shifts welcomed us very nicely and was very kind and helpful showing us our room and throughout our stay , Same with evening shift gentlemen Mr. Simone, super nice, helpful, and pleasant, helped us very kindly with restaurant reservations and any concern we had and also same with night shift gentlemen ( can't remember his name ) he was a very nice guy as well . Last but not least, a very nice bellman who was always willing to help out. Restaurant with a SUPER view and good food and pleasant employees. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. Will definitely go back to Positano and stay at the same hotel Thank you, L'Ancora 😀

We literally loved everything about our stay at L‘Ancora- the location is not even a 5 min walk to the heart of Positano, the staff is really friendly and helpful plus we had the best breakfastview we could ever imagine ;) all in all price and value are fair and we can definitely recommend this place!

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Positano. Lovely staff who were very helpful and prompt with any requests - especially Simoné who was excellent. Great location only 5 minutes from the port. Room was spacious with a private balcony with sunbeds and a table and chairs. We had a room without a sea view but even without it was still lovely to spend some time there. Breakfast was delicious with a wife variety of cooked savory and sweet treats

A fantastic location in Positano, away from the main beach area but not too far. Easy access to stairs down! The staff was AMAZING! By far the most kind and attentive hotel staff we’ve had. Breakfast was great, they cleaned twice a day.

At times, noise could travel throughout the hotel, especially with the balconies/floors above. But only really was an issue on weekend

We had a lovely stay in Hotel L'Ancora. The terrace is magnificent with a wonderful view of Positano. Our room was huge and very comfortable. We were able to check in early. Good location for the bus stop to Amalfi. The breakfast was super with a great selection of food.

We had dinner at the restaurant. I wasn't impressed with the quality of the food. We were also presented our bill without asking which is not great!

This is the best location in Positano, away from the noise of the beach and directly facing the sea. The view from the room is breathtaking. The staff were very friendly with helping us during our stay. in fact we found many business owners very friendly in Positano, which was lovely. A very nice breakfast is provided.

There is no bar or lounge area for guests at the hotel, which we would have used if it was available. We are not able to get a drink or coffee at the hotel to relax. We could only have breakfast and dinner. This meant we went elsewhere.

Stunning view of the cliffs around Positano, huge terrace/balcony with sun loungers, shower and bath were great, staff was all very friendly and made calls to help organize trips, transport etc. Only a short walk from Positano centre and the ferry or bus stop. The breakfast was also very good and we ate in the restaurant one night and was one of our favourite meals in Positano. Perfect for couples on a romantic getaway.

Great location of the hotel as it’s 5 min walk from the bus that takes you to and from sorrento/amalfi, and about 10-15 min walk down to the beach. The staff were super friendly and the breakfast has an amazing view of positano. Stayed only 1 night as positano is quite pricey everywhere but the room was spacious and enjoyed the jacuzzi in the patio. Excellent room service.

Wonderful room - big, clean, comfortable, great view. Restaurant - We only had the breakfast, but was very tasty. Staff - Super friendly. They were happy to help schedule a taxi, give directions, and greeted us with a smile every time.

The location is the best in town. Rooms are comfortable with nice view of the beach and the picturesque town of Positano. Restaurant also serves delicious food. Staff is very warm and friendly
