ALL! -well maintained accommodation -high quality of sleep and relaxation -bathroom is considered spacious when comparing to the size of the bedroom -food is soo goood. Breakfast is lovely, having all the basic needs for breakfast + variety of home-made brioche -staffs are nice, generous, helpful. Giuseppe is extraordinary! He remembers every guest name! -atmosphere is perfect. The sound of natural water floating is a great help to relax our mind.

Just some little detail to improve: -Breakfast has all basic needs for a morning meal, and we enjoyed! However it could be more perfectly perfect with menu selection such as egg menu selection, fresh fruit juice, milk, more variety of cheese to be presented on the breakfast line etc. The variety of home made brioche took all the scene, comparing to salty/savory options like ham/salami/cheese which is very few. Not everyone would take sweet bakery in the morning for breakfast.

Location is wonderful: in the middle of Appennino and far away from the rest. Great nature. Personally (Giuseppe in particular) is exceptional and able to make you feel the most important and valuable guest. Very nice breakfast and dining area. Very nice restaurant for dining. Wonderful park however because of the weather we couldn’t use it.

Difficult to say…

It was our second stay there, and they kept their standards very high. It is an enchanting place, full of charm and history, with comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast and dinner, and a very welcoming staff. We would most gladly return again when visiting Umbria, a special region of Italy.

This place is amazing to stay outside of the city, I wasn't able to leave. Everything is perfect, clean, peaceful. You could easy stay there for a long period of time, they have everything: restaurant, pool, tennis, golf. everyone is super gentle and helpful.

Beautiful grounds, the friendliest of staff, excellent food (2 breakfasts,2 dinners)

Perhaps the room was a little small ( a legacy from the monastic past?) but there were so many beautiful places to sit (inside or out) this didn’t matter. Just a shame after weeks of unusually bad weather the hotel was sadly underbooked

Magnificent hotel with a lot of greenery to have a little freshness. The hotel park is a marvel, with its small streams. Staff at the top, ready to help and very helpful. Restaurant at the top to serve superb dishes with wonderful Italian wines. Swimming pool very well with also places in the shade of these beautiful trees. This magnificent monument has been superbly transformed in order to have superb rooms and very beautiful halls. I can only recommend this hotel.

Amazing setting in the forest. Beautiful grounds. The water features are very cool. Really nice people.

My only quibble is the dinner was only so-so. Many things did not taste freshly made. As someone else mentioned, I would not order the tortelloni with fruit sauce again.

Great experience in a secluded convent up in the Hills. Great facilities and base to explore the area.

Rooms are small. They were fine for us, but maybe a bit of a squeeze for others, or people staying longer.

This was the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed! The service and the food was exceptional. It is in a stunning part of the country on a gorgeous property. It was magical in every way.

This hotel is how heaven on earth looks like. Everything was way beyond perfect. The staff and the owner personally (!) are so friendly and forthcoming - they make your every wish come true. You feel like you have come to a family, but a fancy one. The surroundings and the garden (with an aqueduct) are amazing – so peaceful and quiet. Perfect for relaxing and recharging. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and lovely decorated. The restaurant is worth a Michelin star - delicious fresh food with an excellent wine selection. The waiter for sure made our dining experience very special. We will definitely come back here.
