The hotel was very modern and clean. The bedrooms were large and comfortable, and the staff very friendly. The public spaces were very attractive and well looked after. Very good on-site parking.

Unfortunately, the lift was out of order when we arrived. This is just one of those things, but there was no offer to have our luggage taken to the rooms. Breakfast was served with turkey bacon and beef sausages, neither of which I am particularly fond. Had I known that this was going to be the case, I would not have booked breakfast; instead, I would have traveled to a cafe or farm shop for breakfast and most likely saved money as well.

The character of both the building and location are stunning. The whole place is immaculate; the housekeeping team do a fantastic job. Staff are always friendly and willing to go the extra mile to accommodate guests’ needs wherever possible. My last stay was in the midst of a snowstorm; most places were closed down, but Tong Park remained operational with a skeleton staff and I would say they were a godsend to guests at the time! The evening menu/restaurant serves some of the best food in the area and in my opinion deserves far more recognition than it currently gets. I stayed for quite a while (due to the snowstorm) and worked my way through a decent chunk of the menu day by day; each meal was delicious and it’s, again, now one of my go-to places in the area; I’ve now taken friends & family and had business meals there, with each person saying the evening menu is amazing!

The breakfast was lacking. The set-up and food available wasn’t worth the price, BUT I spoke to the management team about this and they were very open to receiving constructive feedback. Their plans for both short and long-term improvement will, I’m sure, be well received by guests in future.

Arrived late due to working nearby. Great welcome on reception. Access to food was still on and had a decent meal at 9 30pm, which was great. Bar, restaurant area is spot on and modern. The gent serving us what great too. Breakfast was spot on too. Nice professional staff as was the theme throughout, good food and clean environment

Room I was in (215) is a little dated. It was clean with everything you need but showing signs of age eg carpet, windows, wall paper. Far from a deal breaker but keep an eye on it I was fine and it might just be a coincidence but the pipe work in that room seemed to make lots of noise….worth investigating further

Our first impressions of the Tong Park hotel were good. There was plenty of parking spaces, we just had to register our car in at the device at the reception desk. We arrived early to the hotel as we were going to an afternoon birthday party. We sat in the reception area for around 30 minutes before a member of staff showed. The reception area is very small with only a few seats. As we were early, our room wasn’t ready. ( our issue, not Tong Parks) Eventually the receptionist arrived and he booked a taxi for us to take us to our event. As I have some mobility issues, I had asked for a room with a walk in shower as opposed to a shower over a bath, this request was honoured, Thankyou. The room was nice but I think there needs to be some work done on the windows in room 101. The view from the window overlooked a flat roof over reception and was in need of cleaning up. It had quite a lot of debris including cigarette ends which do not look very nice. People are obviously smoking out of the window, not us as we’re non smokers! The window only opened a matter of inches. Our room had twin beds, the duvet on one of the beds (mine) was like a heavy lead weight, the other duvet was beautiful and light. The pillows weren’t good. The aircon was a very welcome feature of our room. There was a great hospitality tray with biscuits and a couple of chocolates, stocked with teas and coffees etc. The lighting in the bedroom was not the best but we got by. The towels were good and plentiful. We did not eat at the hotel on the evening, but breakfast was perfect, plenty of choice and very nice, a lovely peaceful area. The staff were all lovely and very helpful.

Lumpy pillows and a very heavy duvet!

Staff were excellent. Helpful, attentive and really polite. There were two girls in the restaurant on the table behind me moaning that one of their Mocktails didnt taste like they thought it would and despite them being quite rude the waiter did his best to rectify the situation and bent over backwards to put it right. Beds were soft and comfy, rooms were warm and clean. Internet was fast and free. Onsite parking was free. Tea and coffee making facilities refreshed every day was a nice touch. I had a TV with freeview in my room along with hairdryer, iron & ironing board and a trouser press.

If I am being picky it would have been nice to have a mini-fridge in the room, but it wasnt the end of the world.

Room was comfortable with all the facilities you need. Bed was big and comfy. It was easy to control the temperature with the air conditioning. Everything was clean and tidy, bathroom and shower were clean and toiletries provided.

The booking process was strange. I booked a deluxe suite originally and then used the upgrade options to a double room. Options said this included a seating area, wine, and chocolates and a view of the courtyard. On arrival, I was told I was being given a nicer room, on entering the room had none of these options and seemed to be the room I had originally booked

Welcoming, friendly, helpful, professional staff. High standard of cleanliness and comfort in room - Bathroom in 210 was amazing - furnishings and decior in room itself were tired and in need of a refurb but pleased to see refurbishment of the hotel is going to make it an outstanding place to stay - the parts already completed look great. Good menu and bar at v reasonable prices.

Only a minor thing - fire alarm going off twice in quick succession v early in the morning was a bit annoying.

Andrea, on reception, was our star this weekend. Noting I was on crutches, and recognising the hotel was busy, she quickly identified the room allocated was unsuitable due to the number of steps involved. She reviewed the system and sourced an alternative....and what a lovely room too........thank you Andrea. The food in the restaurant was great too, and I thoroughly enjoyed my rib-eye steak. A very pleasant stay. We will look to return

The only comment is that there is no option in the restaurant which includes vegetables

Good location. Good family size room- with shower and bath. The hotel looks well kept and is better than others I've stayed in around bradford. The coffee/tea area was well stocked and had a good variety of biscuits and some chocolates too. An ample amount of towels. Comfortable beds and had an iron and hairdryer their to use. Also good parking! The restaurant linked to the hotel served really good food! The staff in the hotel and restaurant were friendly. Will stay here again over others i have stayed in when visiting family in the area.

There wasn't anything I didn't like but it would be great if the enterance to the restaurant was better sign posted. We went round to the side thinking it was there (and noticed many others did too) but you actually accessed it from the hotel reception area. A sign would be great or even if the staff on reception mentioned where it was incase guest wanted to eat there.

The staff went beyond for us. From the get go the man at reception knew our name and greeted us on arrival. They were so accommodating with our family. The food was halal. Brought up anything we needed through room service not matter what time. Exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend. We were late for breakfast one day and they still let my children have some breakfast before we left the hotel. Customer service was impeccable.
