This location was excellent - in between the edge of the French Quarter and right next to "Frenchman's Street" but still quiet and quaint! I walked everywhere and enjoyed the beautiful architecture on the surrounding streets. The staff was friendly, efficient and welcoming. The pool and hot tub were great! How picturesque to sit and soak in the evening, looking at the palms and charming architecture of the courtyard. The bathroom and room were very clean. I enjoyed the feeling of being in an old structure with wooden floors, brick walls and traditional character. Sleeping in comfortable white linens with high ceilings was a true delight.

The street was quiet and there was a convenience store a few blocks up. Though Frenchman's street is just a few blocks over, there wasn't anything immediately near by to grab food late at night (my flight arrived close to midight). This is not a big deal and I apprecited the coffee and tea available 24 hours a day.

Everything .. I would love to recommend this place 100%. You will get everything you need on your vacation. The hotel itself really beautiful. Prepare your swimming suit if you travel in summer time. The room is beautiful also the building was built in the 1830. Lovely place to stay. They provide everything, coffee machine, ice bucket, amenities etc. The staff really helpful. Carol is really kind .. love her. Also Jay as well. I definitely come back here again for sure. This place is walkable to almost tourist attractions. Very close to Frenchman street for Jazz club. I stayed here 3nights and feel not enough. ;)

This hotel was in a perfect location to walk to most major attractions for tourists, but far enough away to not have the noise of these impact our stay. The Hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms are very clean and spacious and the staff were all very friendly and polite. The option to leave our luggage after check out was a bonus too. We didn't use the swimming pool during our short stay but it looked very clean and inviting.

We stayed in one of the rooms at the back of the hotel and the walls between rooms were thin so at times we could hear conversations of those next door to us. Thankfully we had respectful neighbours so this didn't greatly impact us.

The property was nice and unique. The location to Bourbon St, the Market, the River Walk, and cafés was very convenient.The off-street parking was a nice option. The employees that we talked with, mainly the front desk (evening and morning), were all friendly.

The off-street parking was pricey. The disclosure on the map indicates $30/night, but I was charged $40/night. The shampoo and bodywash bottles in the shower were empty. However, we brought our own, so we just used ours instead. One of the lamps was missing a light bulb, but it was replaced during our stay.

Great location and a beautiful house. Newly renovated hotel and pool with a spa bath which is perfect to cool off in the hot summer days. The staff were really nice and welcoming, thank you for a great experience in NOLA! By far the best value for money. Frenchmens street is right there, with better music, food and overall atmosphere than Bourbon street:) Would definitely stay there again.

More pool chairs would have been nice, there were only three and you had to be lucky to get one. More towels in the room would be recommended, since there are no towels by the pool area. Wifi was not working unless you’re in the main building.

Location was excellent! Minutes to Frenchman St and the French Quarter. Hotel entrance and courtyard were vintage New Orleans. Reception was accommodating, luggage storage, information, taxi. Quiet street, private entrance. My room was spacious, clean, coffee machine, toiletries. AC worked well.

A mini fridge would have been nice. Very quiet except for some noise(talking moving) coming from vents connecting next room. Nothing outrageous. Some rooms are across the street from main hotel. Entrance is a gate. I felt safe but might not be for everyone.

Location is very good for all things French Quarter. Parking is fenced and gated directly adjacent to the property. I was charged $40 per day for parking. The main building on Esplanade is the historic property with an interior courtyard seen in the promo pics. There are shotgun houses across the street from the main parcel at the backstreet.

I would invest in a proper front desk arraingement. The room where the check in is located has an echo issue, this in no way affects the accomodations. I think the staff would appreciate a front desk set up comparable to other hotels.

Booked this place at the last minute and was so happy that we did. The bed was comfy, the courtyard was lovely (and so was the pool), staff were friendly and helpful. It's a great value in the area while not being too deep in the loud parts of the French Quarter.

FYI there is no paid parking, and all the parking in the area is pretty much 2-hour parking, so we did have to move our car a couple of times. But it was no real issue and you save parking garage fees! The shower took a long time to get hot.

This is one of our favorite hotels in New Orleans! We love the location. It is really close to Frenchmen St. and the French Market, as well as some of our favorite restaurants. The hotel has a lot of character, antique decor, and a beautiful courtyard area. The staff have always been extremely pleasant.

The only thing I don’t like is that there is not a luggage storage space downstairs for early arrival. This means having to carry suitcases up the very old staircase. This is a minor inconvenience in comparison to all of the positives about this property.

Great location, aesthetically pretty and great hospitality from staff’

The floors were uneven but so are all the floors in New Orleans. As someone with problems with balance it took me a bit to get used to but still again okay! We had a light out in the bathroom and the pressure of the shower could’ve been a tiny bit better, but this is nit picking we really loved out stay!
