Have to be honest, when I first approached the hotel I was a bit dubious its behind a large wooden door, the lift is antiquated like something from a 1930's movie, but that's the quirkiness of the place. The Hotel is set inside a large historic building, its a gem inside an unassuming facade, it tastefully done up and totally modern. Staff were excellent, Hotel all very clean, room was comfy, Breakfast had plenty of choice. The hotel is very central to all the sights

It's my hotel of choice in Naples, close to the port if you want to day trip or overnight in beautiful Ischia or Procida, or if you want to brave the crowds on Capri. Always super clean, comfortable with lovely breakfast, family run hotel that I am always glad to support. It's 5min walk to Teatro San Carlo if you are coming for the opera, one of the most beautiful theatres in Europe and the oldest. 15min walk to main shopping drag, and 10min walk to the seaside promenade. TIP: do not book balcony room, it faces the busiest main road, take normal room instead, and sleep.like a baby.

Nothing really

The location is excellent, very central, with easy access to key areas. The room I stayed in was spacious, with two floors separating the living and sleeping areas, which was great for work. There was also a kitchen. Breakfast is served in the courtyard just outside some rooms, and it starts quite early, around 7 AM. I liked the central location, the friendly and kind staff, the spacious room with two floors, and the cleanliness.

The WIFI and cellular service were almost non-functional in the room, making it difficult to use the internet. The noise from breakfast being served in the courtyard, starting around 7 AM, was disruptive when I wanted to sleep in.

Our family had a great time at Napolat! Too near to the metro Municipio with many good restaurant options and a good market around it. We could know great places in the city as Piazza Plebiscito, Galleria Umberto I, Quartier Spagnoli and the Historical Centre, on foot. The people at the front desk were very pleasant. The breakfast was perfect with delicious options of food and beverages and the people on staff attended us with so kind and joy. The room was perfect – so elegant, well decorated, clean, fragrant, and all works perfectly: good bed, sheets, towels, shower, air conditioning, TV, amenities, and a spectacular hair dryer. As it was our first time at Napoli and we arrived on Sunday, we didn’t realize the Napolart was in a (beautiful) historical building, because of it we didn’t know that we needed coins to the elevator, but easily the door was open by the intercom and the hotel provide us with credits to use the elevator. We felt so welcome and safe. We recommend Napolart!

The hotel is located in a historic building with a doorman. To enter the hotel, you first need to pass through the big front gate, then take an old elevator to the third floor, and then pass through another 2 solid gates to enter the hotel, which made us feel very safe. The staff was very warm and friendly, running up and down the third floor to greet us. And they were willing to provide luggage storage services. Our room was upgraded to a beautifully decorated and stylish loft with 2 bathrooms. the breakfast is good and being well-serviced. We were very satisfied with everinthing.

It could be better if the toilet in the living room had an exaust system.

Breakfast excellent, has diff options including: scrambled eggs, bacon, wieners, yogurts, pancakes, croissants, naepolitan salami, prosciutto, cheese, etc.. Breakfast was same every day, but it was excellent - there's someone always there to serve you. You get 2 bottles of water every day in the room. Rooms are very clean and very nice, everything is up to the standard. Staff is approachable and helpful, fantastic! When reading some comments about noise from the street in the room - everything was really good isolated and there were no problems with any noise. LOCATION is perfect, really I don't believe we could pick the better location, everything is really close and approachable. Every recommendation!

The hotel is nice and clean. Rooms are of a good size. Friendly stuff and helpful stuff, but they are not always in the hotel. The breakfast is good , you will not stay hungry, if you need breakfast earlier than usual they would prepare and open the breakfast rom ready for you. It is a small intimate hotel. We were a group of people on the same floor it felt like we are in a big apartment of our own which was just what we needed!!!

To use the elevator you need a chip, so if you split with your roommates and you don't have it you will need to go up to the 3 floor by foot. The stuff is not there for 24 hours , it is not always convenient. It is impossible to sleep with open windows in some of the room as they are facing main street and there is a lot of noise .

The staff were all so pleasant and helpful, providing us with recommendations for areas and attractions to visit and calling taxi's for us when needed.

The breakfast area location (inside and outside) was not large enough to accommodate the guests and staff who were there for breakfast (it was not due to weather) so it was a bit cramped with people moving about in close quarters - much better on the patio. There was a small outdoors common area which was a woman's smoking area apparently (she seemed to be always there when we came and went which meant we were always greeted by the smell of cigarettes as we came into our corridor. However, we never smelled it in our room.

The highlight was the location and the breakfast food and breakfast staff. Very good location for train stations and the breakfast included had nice cake and croissants. There was egg sausage and meats too. The staff at breakfast was the main reason for a positive rating as they were very friendly warm and helpful. The room itself had everything listed on the ad. We didnt cook but there was a kitchenette and big fridge. There was two toilets, one upstairs and one downstairs. If you are tall, say 185cm plus, you may find the space abit cramped as it has low ceilings. Shower pressure was good, rain water shower head, water turned warm very quickly. Good hair dryer. An actual one, not the ones on the wall. Air conditioner works well, gets warmer upstairs where the bed is. Plenty of space downstairs to leave open two big suitcases. Plenty of towels provided. Plenty of power points. Bed was nice and firm. Front reception staff gave clear instructions of how to get in and out of the accommodation as there were different keys needed for 3 different doors, if all locked. No issues overall.

Unless the staff are available at the time to help you upstairs, you have carry your luggage to the third floor. The elevator only works with the coin key card, which you can only receive once you have checked in, at reception, on the third floor. The staff came to help us as soon as he could, but it would have been nicer if the elevator operated normally without the key card.

The property was well maintained neat and clean. And the location of the property is very good near to the napoli port and shopping area. The people at the breakfast area were very helpful and friendly . The other hosts were helpful and welcoming

The host at the reception on August 3 and 4 his name was paco or something i dont remember he was very rude and not so welcoming we asked for a water without gas and he behaved like a landlord we waited for the water for three hours then again when we asked in reception he dint respond properly . This is the only one thing which we dint like because the water what we asked is for our baby to mix milk . And due to his rude response and no water for three hours we had to go out and buy.
