The hotel is traditional and very charming. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The pool has excellent views over the valley and was very quiet with lots of sun beds. The hotel is perfectly located. 5 mins into Sarlat. The staff were all very helpful and friendly.

Lovely property, very quiet location with beautiful views

Bit disappointed with the dinner menu, I explained I was vegetarian, they said fine they would sort something out for me. When it came to order I was told they would take the meat/fish off. I ended up with a plate of lettuce with a few tomatoes and then a bowl of mash potatoes with some veg on top. Dessert was lovely. But I was charged for 3 courses

We had travelled from the south that day and just needed somewhere quiet to relax. I booked the hotel as it had a nice garden. Unfortunately we arrived in cold and rain so couldn’t take advantage of the facilities. It’s well situated though and easy to get to from Sarlat. The public rooms are comfy the dining room looks good.

Fantastic large swimming pool , very comfortable beds and excellent shower .

Dinner was good but . We have had better for similar price . Breakfast was disappointing we arrived at 8.45 am for breakfast and alot of fresh fruit and orange juice all gone . Coffee from machine not good for such a lovely hotel a few small chenges would make this excellent

The location -a little way out of Sarlat-la-canéda so best to have a car, but meant it was very peaceful and cool. Our check in was friendly and professional as were all the staff. The pool fantastic. The terrace and restaurant both very pleasant - choice of regional dishes nicely presented. Our bedroom comfortable.

Good breakfast, beautiful views, plenty of parking. A short drive into Sarlat, but too far/steep to walk unless you’re ultra fit.

Most of the staff seemed pretty miserable, as though somebody had just died!

Set on a hilltop with a fine view, walking distance from the centre of Sarlat, the hotel is peaceful and comfortable with friendly, welcoming staff. we enjoyed dinner which was well presented and well cooked. we entertained friends for lunch the next day and the formule déjeuner was ideal and high quality. Great value for money. much to be preferred to a stay in the centre of Sarlat.

The staff were wonderful, the views of the countryside amazing, food was very good, room was clean and comfortable.

You need a car to visit Sarlat or enjoy long uphill walks!

the view from the terrace, the heated swimming pool with no gate and a view , the meal “gastronomique “ the friendly staff , the first floor room’s tiny patio . very quiet in the countryside

no privacy in the patio .Room on the small side but well equipped .Tv, air conditioning . far from Sarlat medieval town . a car is needed.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful and the bed was so comfortable. They allowed me to park my bike in their garage and clean it whilst there. Food in the restaurant is excellent and very well presented.

Not the hotel’s issue but it is a slog walking into town and back.
