I like that it's reasonably priced for a pretty nice hotel, and it's close to the central station so you can easily catch an early train for a day trip to Bran Castle.

Room was more of a suite, size wise, than the double we expected . We arrived late on a Tues PM in early Dec. Bar had a great atmosphere and while busy, accommodated us for food and drinks, even though it was almost closing time. Food was excellent, equally so, the friendly, welcoming staff. Their grasp of English was considerably better than mine of the Romanian. Breakfast within the booking was a conti/cooked combi with a choice of meat or V option. Fresh, tasty and delicious. Also, less than a 5.min walk from the train station, hugely convenient.

Nothing to dislike within the hotel. It's a 3 star, it's clean and in a very useful place. If you have a window open, you may get the noise of the Bucharesti traffic/revellers from the hotel across the road.

Exeter, United Kingdom What a gem of a hotel with a good location too. I booked this hotel at short notice back of an unexpected quick trip back to Bucharest, the location is only a few minutes walk from the Gard du Nord train station. Plus getting into the city centre on foot is really easy. Out of the hotel entrance turn left, a coupke of minutes walk to the junction, take another left and 10 minutes late, bingo your at the main junction for all the roads into and out of the centre. The 1st right hand road goes right into the centre and the old town. The hotel itself is very clean I had room 28 really spacious, good sized bathroom too. Plus the bar - restaurant is very popular with the locals outstanding value for money and quality for their food offering, especially their beef burgers prime chuck steak is used in them. Plus it has a great atmosphere with music large screen t v.'s and staff who look after customers and make them feel welcome. Comfy beds, what more could you ask for, oh yes they have their own beauty salon as well. Would I use this hotel again, yes without a doubt.

We loved the style of the hotel building. Our suite was amazing. The bed was really big and comfortable. The shower was powerful and the water hot. Plenty of storage for our clothes. Our room had a fridge which is always handy. Given that the hotel is on a main road it was very quiet at night. The pub/bistro downstairs was really good. It appeared to be fully booked every night with locals. Clearly the best place around. The area isn't the best, as you often find around Railway Stations. However the positives were great transport links - train, bus and trolley bus so getting from the airport and into the centre was straightforward.

Nothing of note

Our airplane was v early AM , so we needed to stay one night in Bucharest. Our train arrived v early and we went to the hotel to leave our luggage and left to have breakfast and coffee. Despite the checking in being in the afternoon the lady at the front desk called us at noon & said we have a room . Talking about courtesy and being nice ! We really appreciated this favor . Spacious room , clean , comfortable bedding, friendly staff and in walking distance from the train station. There is a pub in the hotel where we had one of the best burgers outside US ! And we know burgers ! Definitely would stay again and get the burger too if we have to spend 1 d before our flight .

Very large quiet rooms. My wife was amazed that Id got a suite!! for such a price. It was very close to the station with more character than likely in the other hotels around. Also had a lively bar/restaurant on site. They happily let us check in early and leave luggage on site after we checked out. We chose it as its close to the station, but also in walkable distance from both the old town but also the parks and spring palace area.

We were surprised there was no coffee-making facility in the room so as we did not take the breakfast had to find that elsewhere. having said that there are some great cafes around in Bucharest so we went to some interesting places.

Everything! Clean, comfortable, convenient. The staff who were friendly and helpful were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the hotel three separate nights over ten days. They let us store our luggage free of charge when we were returning to the hotel two days later. They also called us a cab at 3:00 am for the airport. The receptionist was wide awake and as friendly at that time as if it were 3:00 pm. Plus so close to the train station! I’d definitely stay there again.

Some of the staff were cranky and could have been more polite. One receptionist told us at around 8:00 PM that there were no other restaurants around the hotel were open except the hotel restaurant. However, the restaurant in the hotel across the street was open. One receptionist got annoyed with us when we asked her to repeat something.

I liked everything about this hotel, very impressed about cleanliness and the room overall. Stayed in a lot of 4 star hotels that were not delivering the quality of service provided.

Restaurant staff need a bit of polishing, some not so good vibes coming out towards the customer. Went for an evening meal and they passed me around for a bit until they could accommodate me to a table. Had to tell them i was staying in the hotel otherwise I don’t think they would have given me a table. Looks like a very popular spot for clients outside of the hotel, no wonder because the food was outstanding.

A very utilitarian but comfortable place to stay close to the Gara de Nord railway station. The a/c took a while to cool down the room, but it worked well in the end. The beds are a little basic with just a top sheet in addition to the fitted sheet, but they did the job and offered a comfortable night's rest. Overall, if you're looking for convenience to the railway station and need a place that checks all the boxes for basic comfort, this is a solid choice. Interestingly enough, the highlight of the stay was the breakfast- it was practically gourmet! A very pleasant surprise.

A full duvet for the beds would have been nice.

This was the perfect location for us. We overnighted in Bucharest before catching a morning train to Brasov. The train station was a quick 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Our room was a good size, very clean and comfortable. The pub restaurant served delicious food for dinner, and the breakfast in the morning was delicious. Breakfast was a set menu, but both options were very good (omelette, a variety of cold cuts and cheeses, toast. Friendly and helpful staff.

Would have been nice to have been able to get some change for our currency at the front desk or at the pub.
