Our stay at Village Hotel Basingstoke was nothing short of exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even providing helpful tips for our journey to Stonehenge. The room was cozy and well-equipped, and the adjustable glass wall in the bathroom was a fun and unique touch. The coffee was hands-down the best we've had in a hotel, and the convenience of having a Starbucks on-site was a game-changer. The hotel's location is ideal for travelers, being close to the motorway and offering ample free parking. We would definitely stay here again.

Brealfast, well the breaksfast was poor, only scrumbl'd egg Any sausages or bacon, simply boiled or frtyed egs woul be an extra a bit, we stay'd 5 nights and for my husband wasn't too much what to eat, either me i don't eat srumbled eggs so i would be happy for that.Too much bread and pastry's thar xould swap with more food.But breakfast lady with courly hair was so cute, like a mum :)

The location was incredibly convenient for those attending a concert, as it was within walking distance to the venue. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were impeccably clean and well-maintained, providing a relaxing atmosphere to rest after a long day. Additionally, the hotel provided ample parking space for its guests, which made it easy to find a spot even during busy times. Another great feature was the fast and reliable Wi-Fi connection that allowed me to stay connected and up-to-date during my stay.

Despite the many positives, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. First, I noticed that there was no shampoo provided in the bathroom, which was a bit inconvenient as I had to purchase my own. Furthermore, the breakfast options were quite basic and could have used more variety to cater to different tastes and dietary preferences.

We had booked 2 rooms and we requested 2 rooms next to each other. Because we stayed with 4 people, my husband, my 14-year-old twins and me. What we got was a real surprise. We got 2 rooms next to each other with a connecting door. We really liked it. Although our twins slept in another room. But because of that connecting door, my husband and I felt like we were staying in the family room. We really enjoyed our breakfast, especially hot chocolate. Hmm.. yummie 😋😋 Thank you so much Holiday Inn team 😍😍

Nice, modern facilities. Perfect location if you plan to attend the concert hall nearby. additional parking in the unpaved area behind the building. Reception staff was very friendly, even cheerful.

Coming “home” after the concert was a disappointment. First the bar seemed to be unattended, the staff who showed up was overwhelmed with the number of people arriving and wanting a drink. It would be too easy to just play a bit of (relevant) music and to continue the experience. Instead it was dull atmosphere and bad service. Breakfast was ok-ish and very crowded.

Located right across the street from Centro mall. Breakfast included and quite good. Coffee and water heater in the room. Staff was friendly.

Room was a little small and the price was a lot but typical these days. Parking costs extra, but there's free parking around the back or at Centro mall. No vegan options at breakfast.

Guy at the check-in advised us to park at the opposite Centro parking because the hotel parking was full, but on sundays they turned out to be closed which we found out while leaving. So we had to call the parking control center who send someone over to open the gate manually , which took about half an hour. Only tea in the room , no coffee :-( (The carpeting was new apparently...)

Very pleasant hotel. Perfect location if you are attending a concert at the Rudolf Weber Arena, or plan to visit some of the Oberhausen's attractions (Gasometer, Slinky springs to Fame, Kaisergarten, Sea Life, Lego Land). Also, the shopping mall Westfield Centro is very close. All these can be reached within a few minutes walk. The hotel has its own parking, it costs 5 EUR per night. The best parking spaces are in front of the hotel (not suficient amount of them). There's an additional gravel yard behind the hotel where you can also park. Breakfast was very good, coffee a bit less (but that's the matter of a personal taste). The breakfast room became at 8 a.m a bit cramped (come earlier and you'll have peace & quiet).

24h reception, location near Autobahn, breakfast time slot very flexible (we had to do it early and drive further). We had everything needed in the room, it was clean and warm

The parking was full, but this was because we arrived near midnight. There was no fridge in the room
