La Marine is set in a lovely place and very close to the water with a lovely view. The hotel is clean, tidy and has everything you need. The shower in our room was particularly good. Very hot water and powerful. We had breakfast the next day, a selection of pastries and cereal, with fresh juice and a selection of teas and coffees, the breakfast was extra for us as we were unsure if we would have breakfast there. It cost €9 each, so very well priced. The staff were very friendly and dealt with us with our very basic French. Would stay there again as it is very close to the ferry and ideal if you are a late ferry and would like somewhere close nearby that offers food, bed and breakfast.

Room and facilities quite basic but fine for a stay of one or two nights. We arrived about 10pm after coming off the ferry at Roscoff and struggled to find anything to eat at the hotel and in the village after arrival. If arriving late thereafter, ensure to find something to eat before leaving Roscoff.

People always say Location, Location, Location! And La Marine Hotel couldn't have a more perfect location if it tried! It's in a small but very pretty, quiet village, right next to the harbour and 1st line from the coast/beaches. It's very popular with guests and locals too, especially the restaurant which specialises in seafood. The rooms are basic, but all have modern, simple furnishings, with really comfortable beds and snuggly quilts. We had a family room which had the bonus of an absolutely amazing shower which had a normal setting, rainfall or power jets and a seat so you could relax after a hard day's work or sightseeing.

I had a problem with my car being tampered with one evening whilst it was parked outside and to the side of the hotel, which is where the automatic doors are. I think it was kids, but still annoying because my driver's side mirror got broken and all of the wipers were pulled up on the front and rear of the car. I reported it to the owner so that he'd be aware and asked if they could check the security cameras, but was told that they don't have any camers on the outside of the hotel because it's private land and they're not allowed to. He did apologise but said there was nothing he could do about it. I was a bit miffed at that but managed to buy some gaffa tape as a temporary fix until I got back to the UK.

The accommodation was close to the Ferry port and a good size family room. It was clean and the bar that night had a lovely vibe.

The bed had a slope in it so I’m husband kept rolling into the middle. There were only net curtains so anyone opposite us could have seen in once the light was on. I made a make shift curtain with spare blankets they had. Breakfast on the morning was a bit vague. It seemed like one man doing everything. The coffee machine wasn’t working either and was quite busy so after sitting down, we decided to head somewhere else.

The room was OK for 5 people for a single night.

Our experience with their restaurant was not so good - we waited for an hour to get ordered meals, one of the meal had to be returned due to worse quality of the beef meat. We got a new meal, but it was not cooked/preparedas ordered. The breakfast was very simple. I think the owner/manager should learn, how make the best from running such a restaurant.

Friendly and efficient staff. Comfortable beds and clean bathroom. Great location, about 20 mins from Roscoff. Good bar / restaurant, very popular, with good food - nothing too fancy, reasonable value (moules fries 13 euros). Dogs welcome, with coast path and beaches close by for a walk. Lovely scenery - the sea, expansive sands, rock pools, boats and views of islands.

Inevitably you hear some noise from bar / terrace in front bedrooms.

This was a stop over prior to taking the ferry and it was perfect. The location was amazing with incredible coastal walks on the doorstep, the views were spectacular. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. All at a very good price. The restaurant was also very good and reasonably price.

The manager seemed a bit overworked and harrassed such that my lack of French felt like a huge irritation to him. The main bathroom light didn't work and the curtains were very thin.

I didn‘t know that the restaurant was closed that night. There is but one pub/ bar in this little village. It served fish and chips and drinks - the only option being by bike. But the pub was a pleasant place and the food was good.

A very nice location at a small bay. The price of room is really very good. The bed was very comfortable and bathroom clean amd big enough. Free parking is available at public places. And the restaurant is really very good!

The seaview, I booked, was not really seaview. Only to the bay. So a normal room to take is better! The breakfast was very good and to cheap price. Other guests can be heart inside the room. This was a bit disturbing through the night. A my room was in the second floor. So you should have small laguage-stairs are steep and narrow.

Communication was excellent due to mobility challenges we requested a ground Floor room which they provided and even raised the bed height by an ingenious method The food in the restaurant was really excellent (lots of locals also eating here) Location is excellent

There was a small confusion over the room charge but this was rapidly resolved there was music in the bar but we could not hear it
