This delightful retreat in a very quiet area not far from Amiens was fabulous and exactly what we had wanted for a 3 night stay. Philippe communicated quickly and positively with every request, and gave us the most warm welcome and help. The breakfasts were beautifully presented and offered, and the gentility and style of the whole experience was outstanding. The area is perfect for a time exploring the Great War battlefields and cemeteries, as well as seeking out Philippe's ideal recommendation of a garden to visit at Maizicourt not far away. Thank you Philippe!
Nothing... honestly!

As soon as we drove through the gates, we knew we would fall in love with this place. Beautiful, quiet, serene and most wonderful host. Nothing was too much trouble and our Breakfast was superb, so many choices and everything fresh. The ambience of the dining room, we loved. The house had so much character and so tastefully decorated. I, personally, fell in love with the garden at the back; the fruit trees, roses, wishing well, pots with beautiful plants and not too manicured, very natural looking. A lot of love and detail has gone into the gardens (front garden beautiful) and house. Thank you for sharing it with us. McGregors, Melbourne, Australia

A great place to stay for us, in the middle of visiting the Somme WW1 sites. We had a very comfortable and large room (with huge bath!). It’s in a very quiet and pretty village, only a short drive from Albert for restaurants and shops. Breakfast was delicious. We didn’t need it but there was a nice shared sitting area with books and local information.

This is a beautiful, old property which has been updated sensitively. It is filled with character & just lovely 😍 Pierre was super friendly & gave us a warm welcome. The room was perfect, with plenty of space & coffee/tea making facilties. The breakfast was the highlight. Lots of fresh produce which was of good quality. Lovely cheese & ham and fresh juice with nice jams. Bed was very comfortable & slept well due to very tranquil setting. Excellent value for money.
Would suggest shelf in bedroom being supported more, as it looks like it could collapse with weight of things on it. Kettle needs to be beside cups, tray etc, with socket nearby for plugging in. These are just minor things though.
