Short walking distance to Gare de Lyon station. Distinctive older building but refurbished and up to date. Good breakfast but has small breakfast room. Rooms can be small but bathroom (esp. shower) is roomy enough & no complaints. Many eateries around the area so you won’t go hungry. There is a 'fruit de Mer' brasserie near the hotel and across from the station that seemed quite popular when I was there. No. 1 Metro has separate entrance in front of (as well as inside) the station with access to other lines. Convenient for overnight transfers.

My single room , 305, had a broken air con system that made lots of noise when on and not much else, fortunately there was an oil heater provided that had adjustability (it was February) and was perfect for my purposes. I am mentioning this as reminder to the property to replace the broken air-con unit. I found out the hard way that if you press the control panel it will start noise making (and I couldn't turn it off) and if you don’t, then it will be quiet. Any way I had plenty of heat in the room.

Big shout out to Christine, the concierge at the front desk! When we found out at the last minute that our train had been canceled from Paris to Milan, she was so helpful in finding us alternative routes, she really went above and beyond…she even called our hotel in Lake Como for us as she speaks Italian. She was able to give us instructions from the hotel about canceling…she also helped us in planning our new route…conveying details about additional road closures…due to the landslide that caused our train to be canceled.

The location next to the Gare de Lyon is awesome with easy access to public transportation (Train, Metro, RER, etc...). While all rooms give onto the streets, these aren't super busy, and the windows are thick double pane. For the price the value was great with large enough rooms, clean bathrooms and an awesome staff.

The breakfast could be slightly upgraded with more food variety, and a better coffee machine.

The room was pretty good - we booked two rooms and they gave us both our rooms on the same floor, which was nice! Carpets are definitely a bit old - we regretted not bringing slippers. Location is perfect - the L'European restaurant around the corner is a nice spot for dinner! Breakfast at the hotel was very good as well! We really appreciated the warm welcome of the lady at the front desk. The staff were very nice!

Location wise - excellent. 5-8 mins walk from the Garl De lyon train station. Room alloted to me was quiet small. I don't know about other rooms. small lobby, very small elevator , but in all it was a good, pleasant stay. The reception staff is there all round 24 hours , and have routing duty. Very friendly and polite.

Loved my little balcony and they put me on the highest floor like I requested. The location was right by the train station! It looked beautiful !

The toilet was extremely close to the wall in front of me, my knees touched it and I am not a big person ! Plus no bidet, bathroom so small couldn’t fit one anyway. I traveled alone so perhaps that is why.

Excellent location, very helpful and friendly staff, rooms well-equipped air-conditioned and of decent size, extra facilities and requests (e.g. iron machine, keeping luggage in storage before check-in and after check-out, etc) were accommodated, great value-for-money for accessible central Paris location.

Would be great to add non-decaf coffee sachets for the kettle machine in the rooms.

The location was perfect. We could walk to all the major tourist attractions. The staff was also very helpful. They were very helpful when I asked questions and went out of their way to be sure we understood. The breakfast was very good. It is an old building and the room was very small... but we weren't there to stay in the room.

Great location near the Gare De Lyon station, which we can go any major attractions by metro and RER, including Eiffel Tower, Disneyland Paris, Versailles, etc. Really appreciate the staff's service and security. They locked the hotel entrance every time they left the counter for their business. They took a good care of our luggages on the last day of us even though we have checked out.

It’s a 5 minute walk from gare de lyon station. Gare de lyon has trains departing to various places all over paris. There are many good restaurants and cafe within walking distance. Carrefour and monoprix are also within walking distance. A pharmice is just opposite the hotel. Pretty much everything you need is within 5 mins

Rooms are a bit too small
