A convenient place to stop for the night. Clean spacious but basic rooms. Decent breakfast.

Whilst we all loved the dog who greets you and chats, the lobby does smell of the dog! The restaurant and gardens were closed which was a shame. The staff helped us to find a restaurant and booked it but failed to tell us there were two restaurants of the same name. We were very late for our reservation as it was a long walk from the hotel!

This is a charming old school hotel at the foot of the mountains in a lovely alpine village. I am sure it has hosted generations of skiers over the years. It is full of period posters and photographs of skiers and past alpine life. I had a lovely room with a balcony and a view of the mountains and the staff were charming on arrival. There is a good car park and lovely bars and restaurants nearby.

Nothing really

The hotel has a family feel which we really liked. It felt very personal and staff both in the hotel were friendly. Due to an accident, i was unable to check in as planned but upon phoning the hotel, they did everything they could to make our stay possible and staff were aware of the circumstances upon arrival, which showed impressive, personal level of service. It seems the rooms have been renovated and the room, réception area and grounds have a lovely haven like feel which is perfect for families and couples.

The setting was stunning, great location especially as we were following the TdF.

Wifi was a bit hit and miss, had to stand in a corner of the room to try to get reception. Disappointing that the restaurant was closed as that was one reason we chose this accommodation.

Really good breakfast buffet with good service for individual requests and varied selection. Very comfortable room and space enough to put everything. Lovely location with good access to scenic walks and not too busy at this time of year, end of May, first week in June. Very clean.

I do not eat meat and would have liked the cheese option kept separate from the meat option at breakfast. We ate at the restaurant in the evening a couple of times and I would have liked some varied salad options on the evening menu too. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and only realised a couple of days before when trying to book a table that the restaurant was not open on Sunday evening. It was probably my mistake at not checking earlier. We had one very helpful hotel waiter who helped me with my non meat options throughout the stay which made a difference. Requested help to manage the safe option in the room but nothing happened for some reason?

The location is excellent. It’s near stores, restaurants and everything considering the town is small. The dog surprisingly welcomed us, which was cute! Breakfast is also good, but it would be great if they had more options as I don't eat much meat. The bedroom is clean and spacious enough, you can hang many clothes in the closet.

We had a lovely stay the room was comfortable staff friendly breakfast delicious and the dinner at the Restaurant on our last night was outstanding.

It would have been great to have a small fridge and kettle in room to be able to make yourself a cup of tea etc apart from that nothing negative re our stay.

Nice hotel in a good venue

Communication could have been better! They encouraged us to book their restaurant but then told us it was closed. They sent us a warning about parking and the fete in town after the event had started.

Nice location for the midpoint of my drive from Andorra to the Cirque de Gavarnie. The town was very quiet as it was off season for the ski area. Perfect weather with amazing wild flowers everywhere and the green hillsides made for a peaceful setting.

Food in restaurant was imaginative and excellent. The waiting staff were lovely. The location was superb right in the town but still quiet. The room was comfortable and clean

More local information on arrival would have been nice.
